Escher are a bit too alt for my tastes, I want regular girls in flak armour, not t-shirts and abnormally tight leather pants.

Van Evok Ever thought of Necromunda Eschers? Fine gang militia or penal troops imho. Well, I dont care much anymore about IG beef-ups, just wanna have fun when flaming the hell out of buggers... bring the flamers everywhere razz Did you know that assault marines can have 2 per squad twisted Flamers are you solution. Not to beat my own drum but. I dont play with that many troops. And with the new transport rules you can guess where the ones I do take will be. That said with your main flamer targets closed nicely inside chimeras it leave me a nice kill zone for my hellhounds and Leman Russ Exterminators

You could always take a few Hydra's, good against infantry and fast-moving skimmers alike! wink

The stormlord is more a bunker than a transport, it can only move 6" per turn, which isn't a lot. It works better as a stationary bunker that fires the mega vulcan cannon twice per turn instead of moving.

You could always turn it into one of the objectives for the game. One big mobile bunker that spits death at everything trying to get near to it. You could always cram a lot of heavy weapons on the rear platform for extra protection.

well, against treadheads, every marine has krak grenades now smile not much of use against land raiders, to be sure, but very nice for assaulting things with actual rear armor (contrary to land raider's omnidirectional front ) shameless bragging aside some multimelta attack bikes could be helpful... at least I hope so smile

Foolish is he who assaults the center tank of my formation. Thats the Demolisher rear armor 11 packing one of the destructive main guns. I once was immobilized and killed 3 dreds with my defensive weapons alone. your going to be outnumbered and out gunned the first task for your assault squads it living to attack a target that going to be moving and shooting. And people never have just one Russes are like potato chips. Pie plates will fall all over while twin linked auto cannons chew up infantry like a wood chipper
