A smile cracked on Morrigan's lips. "Are you going to fight me exclusively with your hips, darling?" she answered. "Or were the thrusts you made earlier solely meant to get my hopes up?"

"In that case, darling, let me say this," Morrigan said, wrapping one arm around her stomach and bringing the other to her chin, assuming a seductive pose, "I can sense your power. You're strong, probably even stronger than me. I can tell you that I've been waiting for an excuse to do this ever since I've met you, and while I don't expect to win, I have no intention of losing, either."

With that, her wings flared. They then morphed into dozens of deadly spears, which danced around her body ready for battle. Gatz could both see and hear Morrigan giggling in between the shafts of the spears as she waited for him to advance.

"*Sigh*... Morrigan, Morrigan, Morrigan..." Gatz said, shaking his head. He flicked his wrist, putting his umbrella into one of it's infamous spins.

"I'm not just going to charge in stupidly like *some* people do. I have enough experience to know better than that."

Finished talking for the moment, Gatz twisted his umbrella downwards--snapping it shut--and plunged it into the dirt. The chi forced into the earth and rock caused the ground to buckle upwards, leaving a trail as the attack speed towards Morrigan. When it reached her or met with resistance, the spiralling energies would explode upwards in a gyser of earth.

Gatz just smiled as he yanked his umbrella out of the dirt and turned to face the incoming barage of death. Creating a slight buffer of chi around his weapon, he swung at the first fireball. There was a slight buzzing as the two energies connected... then Gatz completed his swing, sending the succbus's own attack flying away. The entity continued to swing repeatedly, deflecting all of the deadly projectiles back towards Morrigan. Instead of focusing upon a single like his opponent, however, Gatz spread out the shots in a small circle around her position. The idea was to catch her when she tried to dodge the first shot, which was right on target.

"Attacking someone who's airborne isn't all that difficult," Gatz replied cheerfully. "They tend to be more mobile, but there's almost zero cover to hide behind. If you have a decent long range attack or counter, any advantage the opponent might have is easily neutralized."

"How do you know for sure that holding a conversation in order to distract you isn't part just of my clever plan..?" her opponent said teasingly as he started to spin his umbrella again. This time the shaft was pointed right at the sucubuss, presenting a shield of metal towards her if she choose a frontal attack.

As the weapon spun, the wind in the began to pick up drastically. It was shaping itself into a sprial that reached from Gatz all the way to Morrigan-- though it was obviously less intense as the distance from the entity increased. In another moment, however, his opponent would find herself flying in the middle of a full-blown tornado...

((^^;; I think that cause the opposite of the desired effect. idea If she's such a sound sleeper, however, Rio might suddenly remember that tub of jello Gatz hasn't had the time to put away yet... mrgreen ))
