Hey Para!
In regards to Project Phoenix and YJ... I believe we have some discussion as a group to work on. Here are my thoughts as of right now.
1. We could just keep playing YJ as it is, since when the reboot takes place many of these characters will not be around off the start nor experienced enough to really desire their own team (or so I think anyways.)
2. If we do wish to reboot YJ, does it follow the same timeline as PP or shall it be it's own story?
3. If it does follow PP... what drives our young heroes to band together, especially since the Justice League will not have yet formed when the rpg begins?

1. I believe that one of the great things about the two threads that even though they are separate, they run in the same universe. It allowed for easy transitions and references to help develop our characters throughout both threads.The actions in the earlier timeline, held an impact how the team acted in their current timeline.
2. I say it should follow the same timeline as PP for reasons stated above
3. I'd say until the justice league actually formed, they would be just more of team up missions then actual organized team. Maybe the benefactor realizes that with more spot light being shown towards the mentors, they are more bound by their moral and ethics to do things a certain way. While the young heroes are more rebellious anyways and are expected to do what they want in a sense.

I agree with Tempest. Also, I am moving to Alberta in september, hense why I have been missing. I am probably NOT going to return to YJ for some time, however I will be back once my new job is established and i have settled in.
Secondly, in regards to Silvia in the rebooted YJ... I was thinking of having her be a plot line maybe? Like, she's the misssion, but the team doesn't know it. I could introduce her that way. Example: Strange occurances are taking place in such and such location. People go missing, strange sightings, warious people have ben injured, ect. YJ gets sent to see what's up and find a very confused (New version) of Silvia who has no idea how to control her powers. The team woul have to figure out what to do and how to deal with her, ect. Just a re-occuring idea I've been having.
As for my other charcaters, they probably wont be there. I MIGHT play KF, but since I'm going to be starting a new job I don't want to play more than 2 Characters per rp anymore as I'm not surer I'll be able to keep up.
And that's whats going on.
As to Project Phoenix, Tempest has the right idea. ive us the same timeline, AND make it Justice League, year one. Batman year one justseems silly to me. How would all the charcaters interact if they're all just starting out? By making it Justice League year 1 it gives room for people to introduce their characters to one another and show them bonding IC. Also, then we could have a YJ form when the 'sidekicks' see what their mentors are doing.

So who will still be around, character wise after PP launches? Just trying to think of some ideas for the rebooted team if we choose to go that route.

The re-invented Cassandra Wayne [Black Bat] will for sure be interested in forming the team and I'm sure her brother Tim Wayne [Robin?] will be as well.

I'm thinking possibly something with an impending world destruction. Possibly a removal of Kara off planet which can't be handled by the JLA who are busy dealing with something else.

Which the importance of is made very clear by the shouts of the Wayne kids who are friend's of Kara's prior to the abduction. wink
