Makoto walked into the Adoption Home, a hint of smoke still leaving his lips, his ground-out cigarette filter still in his fingers. He walked straight to the kitchen, wet the item, and threw it away. Then, taking a medium sized glass, proceeded to pour some orange juice, and then sip it, contemplatively.

He put the glass in the sink, running water into it to rinse out the rest of the orange juice. The glass slid very nicely into the dishwasher.
