He nodded, but he was more concerned with what was on her mind. "What's up? Looks like something's bothering you." He moved to the table and sat across from her.

"Ah, no, actually. Something is not bothering me. ...Not anymore, anyway." I only cross bridges if I have to. "Really. And I'm thinking a bit about my chuunin exam. ...I've never actually had one of those."

He frowned some. "Well, it won't be nearly as thought-ahead as the Shojiki 'test' for Ijutsu. For this, you'll at least know what you're being tested on." He grinned briefly.

"You did know what you were being tested on." Nyl grinned. "Everything."

He nodded some and leaned back, shaking the drowsiness from his head. "Anything you want to know about the exam?"

"Yes. Do I have to let fire burn me?"

"If you can dodge it, no." He smiled some, trying to swallow. He stood and moved to the stove, pouring a mug of tea and heating it himself. "I'll be testing you on use of Ho. Things I have taught you and things you might make up on the spot. That's the beauty of Ho. It's so free-form, all you have to do is use your imagination. If you need anything from it and you have the chakra, it will give it to you.. Need anything while I'm up?"

"No, I'm good." She held out one hand, forming an ice kunai in it with barely a thought. "Fire isn't free-form enough to do this, though." She melted the kunai again and let the water spin around her hand in a circle.

"No, I guess it's not." He took a sip of his tea and sat back down at the table, yawning a bit. "Mizu never interested me. I'm not sure why."

(( Finished up on an essay about the Holocaust! I can finally get back on for a bit. ))
Alice wandered down the dormitory halls, her hand gliding across the wall as she walked. As she came across the main room she head voices in the kitchen as she put a smile on her face and walked in, seeing Nyl and Seph as she instinctively straightened up, standing tall with her hands folded behind her. "Hello."

"Good morning, Alice." Nyl got up, dismissing the water, and put her tea mug in the sink. She shrugged at Seph. "It just doesn't, some people."

She wandered out of her room and down the hall to the main room, mp3 player and headphones in tow. She heard voices in the kitchen, but she just didn't feel like going in there, so she flopped down on one of the couches and started fiddling with her player.

Nami had slept surprisingly late in her couch fortress. Upon waking she found Clow looking slightly more comfortable but still asleep. After absentmindedly toying with his hair, she'd crawled out from under the blankets and gone for a brief walk to stretch her muscles.
It was upon her re-entrance that she noticed Eli on one of the couches. "Eli! Hey." She greeted with a smile. "I was going to go and find you, see how the meditation went."

"How are you today, Nyl?" Alice asked, uneasily leaning against the door frame, still not used to relaxing in front of people, especially Nyl.

She rolled so she was facing Nami, and stopped playing with the player.
"I really couldn't tell you. I mean, I think it went well... but I was at it for a few hours, and something tells me if I were doing things right, I wouldn't have enough chakra to keep at it for as long as I did."
