actualy lemme use this space to talk..
My Uncle Mark from NO, is accounted for he's in a camp in Crowley, His house wasn't touched.
My Aunt Marie, is accounted for and is in Rayne, her hosue is destroyed.
My Friend Lindsey, is accounted for, her house is messed.
My Friend Ashley's is accounted for, her trailer is gone.
My Aunt Jackie, is MIA (she's also a deaf-mute so proally is safe)
my mom saw a sign today in someone's yard, HUGE sign, "Katrina, Youse a ho!"
The evacuated the dolphins from NO's Aquarium, but not the sharks, so one got loose and was swimming the streets.
Today: Jon gets called on 12 hour recall, then an hour later it's 4 hour recall, an hour later he gets a call saying they leave for LA at 8 pm tonight, we go home andhe starts packing, three hours later they get a call to grab what they've got and get to base they leave in 30 minutes.
The boys all FREAK the ******** out, and rush to the base..
they get there and get the order to "Standdown" which means they ARN'T leaving and now have to unpack the convoy...
now I'm home alone.. clueless and hoping they arn't leaving.
If/when he leaves for New Orleans, I'm stuck here in NC for several months by myelf, with no way to pay Rent, so I'm scared despite the fact we've told the landlord and most of the people in this cmoplex are soilders at Fort Bragg.
There's word that Bush just stated they won't be rushing the military in... so no clue.
Everyone in this house is going to Louisiana, except the one person FROM Louisiana.
