I didn't do all that well in my 3d classes. Not for lack of trying, but most of the students I was with had already worked with the software where I had zero experience. My work simply...paled in comparison.
*shrug* But I'm cool with that. I was proficient in Flash, which is what I wanted smile

I don't even want to start on my 3d class...I still have that to finish as well and my little dragon dudes aren't even moving yet. And yes...the theme for me was dragons this semester because I could.
But I know that feeling, me and my level 2 peers got a crappy level 1 intro so the new level 1 kids are all better than us with the new professor teaching things. We feel behind and our work isn't as polished as their's is.
And I'll be teaching myself Flash this summer.

Well, if you need help with Flash, I'd be happy to lend a hand were I can.
There are a bunch of things I wish I'd learned before getting a job...I would have looked more professional.

^^ I don't know anyone who hasn't gone through that. The nice is that by this point, I've figured out all of the 'why is flash doing that?!' problems ^^

Gah, I've done ten hours of straight animation today.
Surprisingly there were few to no kinks, however...my tablet hates me.

I Wish I had a cintiq, or something akin to it. My hands are kinda shaky, takes me a few passes to get things right with a normal tablet.

Eh, I think it's a bit overrated. My Bamboo Fun works just fine and it's the 'low-end' side of the scale. Sometimes I think tablets get too fancy and take up too much freaking room.

I've just compared my work with peers who use the screen tablet thingy (I dunno what you actually call it...) and i can see where my work would really improve with it.

Well that thing of course looks better seeing as they can treat the screen as their paper.

I simply can't stay quiet about this any longer. It's driving me crazy and it's such a simple thing to fix.
"Your" is not the same as "you're". Your is a possessive pronoun used to show possession of a trait or object. Your horse, your intelligence, your mother.
You're is a contraction made from "You are" which describes something intentional about you. You're sweet. You're flexible. You're colorful. You're mine.
The easiest way to make sure you're using the correct one is to place an "are" and change "your" to "you" and see if it makes sense. If it does (Your You are ready to go.), chances are you need to use the contraction form. If it doesn't (Your You are friend came over today.), then it's fine as it stands.

I almost did it. I even had the line he was going to use for kelli. it went:
"You have exactly thirty seconds to get away from my daughter before I remove that part of your anatomy by way of pulling it through your mouth."
