"Like you'd have had the strength to carry me without dropping me, anyway."
Nyl watched Nami go into the kitchen, then looked back at Seph.
"I feel as though someone has just been me...at me."

Seph nodded to Nami softly, then looked back to Nyl. He nodded his head to the side, confused. "Really?"

"Yes. It's...weird. Do I always act that way?" Nyl was grinning.

He opened his mouth in realization, then grinned, looking at the kitchen door. "Yeah, Nami does a better impression of you than I do."

It didn't take long to heat up the soup. She made sure to put noodles in hers and Nyl's, but not Sephs. Juggling the three bowls on a platter with apparent ease, she grabbed a few spoon and went back out into the main room. The wife lessons had apparently come in handy yet again.

"I know. It's frightening, isn't it? I may have to replace you." She winked at Seph to let him know she was joking. "...Sorry, Nami, I'm not very hungry at the moment."

"Ah well...it's there if you want it later." She smiled, sinking down on the table once more, taking her own bowl.

He grinned at Nyl, then took his bowl gratefully. "Thank you!" He put the spoon to his lips and took a sip, letting the soup fill his stomach. "It's good." He smiled. "And thank you for helping Eli out, too. I don't think I'm being a very reliable Sensei right now.."

Nyl sighed. "I suppose I'm not, either, am I? Not that I have any students who require instruction, anymore..."

"Well apart from Ijutsu...you're Neko's shojiki aren't you?" Nami inquired. "I mean...I know a lot's been going on but Neko's only given me two lessons...and one was about chakra, not the Mizu element." She swallowed a bit of soup. "It gives me a lot of time to work on my own abilities though I suppose."

"That doesn't make you unreliable, Nyl." He said, looking over the edge of his bowl of soup, blinking.

Nyl seemed to be nodding off again. Nami sighed, making sure to tuck a pillow behind her. She glanced back at Seph.
"I hope the soup helps." She said, smiling.

"It's very good." He smiled and took another sip of tea. "How was the trip?" He couldn't remember if he'd asked that already.

"It was nice." Nami said, choosing to leave out the fact that Seph had already asked. "They decided that their decision to send me away instead of sealing me or marrying me to some old council member." She laughed over her bowl. "Plus Clow got to meet the new Hokage...which must have been hilarious. She's not exactly like the last one."
