Le sigh.
I asked my boyfriend what he wanted for valentines day, and he asked for a video game (which costs 45 dollars). Then he asked me what I wanted, and I said peridot jewelry. He said that he can't afford it.
If you can't afford to buy someone 45 bucks worth of jewelry, don't ask for 45 bucks worth of video games! ;_;

I have never gotten flowers before from my bf.. and its been 3yrs now... ^^;;.. I like flowers too!
jewlery would be nice, but....i guess since he wont be seeing me wear it, it really doesnt matter ^^;;

I was gonna ask my boyfriend for flowers and/or chocolates. To keep it under 20 bucks. Then he asked for a 45 dollar video game (as if I have that kind of money -_-). So it's only fair that he spend the same amount of money on me.
I already bought him a 5 dollar Tifa keychain to go along with the other things I was gonna get him...

I got my boyfriend a stuffed bear that I made myself, and he's taking me to dinner theater..so I don't expect anything big as a present...it's also our anniversary biggrin

You shouldn't have to spend money on each other. Just being together should be enough. 2 dozen roses? gonk heart I hate you. David's NEVER gotten me roses. T_______T He's given me flowers all of 2 times in our whole almost 5 years together.

Being together is hard when you live in New York and your boyfriend lives in Georgia.
I would be satisfied with a drawing from him, or a program, or something else he made...
I was gonna bake him cookies and ship them to him...
I like valentines day, but not when he wants me to buy him something expensive and can't afford to get me something expensive in return...

I got blue rose's once. biggrin He said something stupid and I wouldn't talk to him so he walked to the flower shop and bought me blue rose's and walked through the school to give them to me. biggrin sweatdrop

Miri, any of the big chains, like kay jewelers, zales, gordon's... they have good webpages. Anything you find in the mall, usually has a good online store. My brother used one of them, I can't remember which, but he had no problem. He ordered it online and when he needed to resize the ring, he was able to take it to their store in the mall.
