Still, it seems the market is calming down from the heights of its craziness, probably due to Loyal's Bazaar.

I'm only tempted by the twitching tail, but not tempted enough to give up my grail here. Again, I realize that if not for you and a scant few others . . . I would likely walk away from Gaia.

The twitching devil tail . . . but as said, it is not near worth enough to fight for.
Speaking of fighting for things, I saw what my devil tail is now worth and just kinda was stunned. I got it for nearly 100 million I think . . . now it is worth 31 billion . . . inflation is really out of control. eek

Oh, the devil tail. That's probably out of my league price-wise.
I think the market is on the deflating side of this spike, I think (I hope).
*can't see the image* Oh, the original pagan holiday for which Easter is named?

There is a lot of conflicting information, not helped by the image-meme (that I posted) talking about how Easter is originally from a goddess of fertility and sex named Ishtar. Such explains the origin of the eggs and rabbits . . . but what research I have done is contradictory, and much of that is heavily biased in Christianity. When I mentioned this image in a discussion in Facebook, it turned into the typical internet argument where I was instantly wrong, and resorted to insulting my intelligence. I took none of it to heart, but still thought it was an interesting experiment.

It can be hard to get the the root of an issue, b/c many are convinced they are right beyond a shadow of a doubt despite lacking any strong basis/foundation.
From what I remember, Ishtar is either a cognate or corruption of Astaroth, who is one of the oldest mythological deities, like Baal.

In the end, I suppose it doesn't really matter. I know enough to say I don't know what in the hell is going on. The only point is that when others use the phrase "the reason for the season" it upsets me since there were reasons prior to Christianity. Christ doesn't upset me, but those that are militant about their faith being the only way do.
I hope that doesn't offend you, old friend. By no means have you ever upset me with faith or been rude about your belief structure. sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop

I agree. While history is important, a name is just that, an identifier.
No, not at all. Religious tolerance is a sticky issue, and one which people on both sides of the issue(s) often get wrong.

I worried about that post anyway . . . knowing you go to a religious college, and not wanting to offend you in any way. sweatdrop

It'd have to be something crazy, for sure. xd Then again, I doubt any single comment from you could offend me, since we've been friends too long for that.

a part of me want to accept that challenge . . . the rest of me beat that part with a few handy lead pipes.
Strange how inspiration comes to you at random times. I had an odd idea tonight- a passive psionic ability for a RP character:
Anything touched or held seems to move and writhe in a menacing or 'living' way. With additional power, certain aspects can manifest like tentacles, eyes, fang-filled mouths, etc.
