*takes the tea and sips on it* "Thank you sir. Lets see the Vampyrates, although they welcomed me kindly, they weren't very...well pyratey nor very vampyric. as for an attack against us well I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon. As I was leaving they were having a..."*whispers* dance party! *sips on his tea*

((Temporary Deafness my good friends. Major Sound Wave Trama to the ear-drums can last as long as two years. Mine on the other hand lasted about a month in the long run.
As for our current location, I had thought that we were still ashore, therefore I will now RP the return. Also, ALL CREW pay close attention. Here there be Orders.))
~:Back Aboard The Lady Washington:~ - 10:25 pm -
"..Dance Partys."
*Turning & looking about in disbelief.*
"Leave it to the Vampyric Courts to be holding balls and the like aboard a ship during times like these. Hell, I don't even think it entirely proper to be calling it a ship when all they do is gallavant in elegant clothes, eat delightful gourmet meals and rub elbows with Upper Class Society...
And what's more, they haven't earned a bit of it. How can they present themselves as Pirates when they don't even do anything... piratish? I could understand if they had just arrived back from some glorious crusade against a Clan of different sorts, or possibley had taken a prize ship upon their journeys... but when was the last time you heard of the Vampyrates doing something worthy of being noted? Nothing of recent as far as I'm concerned."
*Placing his tea upon the desk, he stands and begins to pace about the room.*
"It's complete and utter bullocks, that's what it is... Oh well, It's not anything to do with me. Therefore, I shall sit back and watch the Kyuuketsuki fall into ruins. It's what any other everyday bystander would do... then again, I don't normally act as such, do I?"
*As Miss Destiny entered the Great Cabin, Kurisutofa turned quickly to her and smiled. He followed her as she brought a new pot of tea in and placed it on the Captain's desk.*
"Ah... Thank You, Miss Destiny. By and by, the tea is delightful. Would you care to join us? You must be dreadfully busy in the Galley. I'm willing to bet that it has fallen into a great deal of disrepair. I shall do what I can to bring it to rights. I swear.
Oh, Miss Destiny. Please call Doctor Baxter & Doctor Morgan into my Cabin. I have business with them once they are able to attend. I understand they must be busy; what with the wounded and the dying and all."
*Taking his seat he turned and faced out the window.*
"Well, Ilor my good friend... we have a wonderfully horrid task ahead of us. First off, we shall get Morgan to bring his sloop Rescue alongside and we will begin to shift Doctor Baxter's Medical Treatment Facility to Morgan's ship. Not only shall this free up the Lady's decks and allow us to begin repairs and maitenance, but it shall allow us room for our bounty.
After the wounded are disembarked, I want ALL CREW to go ashore and begin the process of grabbing what they want as payment for their duties. Any squabbles over who gets what will be seen to by me personally.
Once all Crew has their own personal trinkets, I want Toulon's Vaults to be emptied, loaded into chests and brought aboard in quick and orderly fashion. Any items of great value are to be properly packed, inventoried and placed in the ship's hold, along with valuable items taken from civilian residences."
*Snickers*
"I'm not heartless, just materialistic."

*She was sitting in a corner feeling out-of-place. She could still barely believe that the man in dark clothing had simply materialized out of nowhere, but then she had seen a woman scream so powerfully that the sound waves reverberated visibly in water, so it wasn't too impossible anymore. The conversation of vampires wasn't even too outrageous after all she'd seen and heard by now.
Still, at the moment, she was just sitting there. Maybe she should just go away? They probably didn't need her anymore now that the port was sacked anyway...*

((A Cry For Attention Much? 3nodding ))
*Looking for his 43" inch spyglass, he called to his servant.*
"Sandler! Sandler, have you stoeln my glass again? Damn it all, where are you?"
*Realizing that his servant-boy had been blown to pieces in the Battle of Toulon, he looked about and set his eyes on the new young recruit he'd come across ashore.*
"'Ello there las. You know, I've had you tagging along all this time now and I've only now realised that I haven't yet properly heard who you are. What be your name miss?"

Dr. Baxter picked his head up from his hands at the sound of Miss Destiny's voice. She had a plate of food for him, and he had not the heart to tell her that the events of recent had robbed him of his appetite.
"Thank you," he said and accepted the plate. He took a few bites of food as he walked away. He gave the rest to one of the lesser wounded who happily scarfed it down.
"Here, you need this more than I."
Baxter had also observed that the Captain had returned to ship. He picked himself up and went to the Captain's quarters to see what was to become of him. Finding the door open he rapped on the wall a few times to announce his presence and stood in the doorway.

((Only slightly... Ehehehe... sweatdrop At least I'm not godmoding with my hearing status...))
"My name is Omikashida. Omi's ok." *she smiled.* "Umm, thanks for letting me help, and umm, saving my life, and stuff..." *she trailed off. It probably sounded stupid, but at lest she was able to say what she wanted to.*

((Okay, this Captain is on board now??? Okay...))
*she looks over at the Captain, being back aboard the Lady, and smiles a bit. She felt a tinge of bitterness with him taking her out of battle, but she knew that if he hadn't, she wouldn't have seen him or the Lady again. She limped over to him and gave a respectful bow* Captain, welcome back aboard. Is your hearing better?

(( ooc sorry I've been insanely busy with school)) Destiny sat down with the Captain, " But just for a minute. You're right, the galley was in a horrible mess. I'm working to get things together, it'll just take time. " Destiny swept her hand through her hair, making sure her ears were covered, out of habit. " When I'm done setting the galley to rights, then I'll go ashore and pick up some trinkets. Maybe a few more daggers. pirate The store had a nice selection. Oh, by the way Captain, is your ribs and back better? I haven't had a chance to ask you since the accident in Fiddler's Cove. redface " She looked at the Captain expectantly.

*Nods to Ares.*
"Thank You Miss Ares. I'm glad to see that your up and around. You had me worried for awhile."
*Turning to his newest recruit*
"Miss Omikashida aye? Japanese origins I take it, am I not correct? I'll shorten it to Omi for the Crew's sake. Now Miss Omi, if you've no plans iwthin the town, I was thinking that I shall be kidnapping you and placing you in the rank of Captain's Servant. If your not laright with this, please say so right away. We are bound to depart within the week, so you'll want to have personal business completely squared away."
*Looking to Miss Destiny*
"Well, as I said before, I'll do what I can to see the Galley set to rights."

*She never expected the excrutiating pain in her head to cease, so waking up to subtle commotion of people moving about the ship startled her a little.*
"Good god, I passed out again..." she thought to herself, shaking her head slowly and standing, uneasily, for a moment.
*Jaden looked about the deck and saw many of the wounded attended to now and some propped up, eating stew. Stew... She hadn't eaten in days and add to the fact the waves of nausea she felt earlier had temporarly subsided, the wafting scent of food, any food, tempted and teased her senses.*
"Oh! What I'd do for a bite of food... But there is no way I'm stealing food from anyone, let alone wounded." mumbled to herself.
*She fell back to the wall with a slight thud before sliding back down to the deck to sit. The last thing she remembered was covering Miss Ares with the slashed coat and resting her head beneath a crumpled up shirt and hearing tired footsteps ascending the steps below deck. Looking over to where she had last been resting on the ship, Jaden only saw the items on the deck in a pile. She also looked around for the Doctor who was also missing. Sitting there, messing with the shackles subconsciously she listens to some of the wounded aboard the ship. She strained terribly to hear more as her ears were still stuffed with wadding but made out some phrases:*
"... Now that the Captain's back aboard, we'll be gettin' our fair shares soon ..."
"... Aye, me thinks a new dagger or two would be fine 'round me middle ..."
"... With the gold we'll be gettin' we can con the cook to make real food ..."
< sweatdrop >>
"Ah... so he is aboard ..." she frowned looking at the deck planks.
*She started to notice herself worry more as she again fiddled with her shackles. Her fate had yet to be decided, but that would come sooner than she had expected. A mob of angry villagers, she could outrun without incident. But pirates aboard a boat? She was trapped, and she knew it. The queasiness that had eluded her earlier at the scent of the stew now came rushing back worse now than before she passed out upon the deck a second time. What was to happen to her? She shook her head and tugged gently on the pouch that the Doctor allowed her to keep.
She slowly, carefully shook the items out into her left hand: A long black silk ribbon, a gold ring with a ruby sided by two diamonds, and a gold locket she could never seem to open. Slowly looking them over, she slipped the black ribbon through her fingers before placing it back in the pouch. Next, she picked up the locket. It was old and badly beaten up. She unsuccessfully attempted to open the locket, shaking her head. Her mother had been as stubborn alive as she was dead, leaving her this locket. She tossed it, begrudgingly, into the pouch before handling the final item.
She picked it up gingerly, as if it would crumble between her very fingers like aged parchment. She sighed deeply looking upon it. Her father... In all the years she had seen him off and on in her life, she never thought she'd be aboard a pirate boat... just like him. She was definitely her father's daughter now. *
"I screwed up this time, Papa..." she whispered, looking down upon the ring in her hand, "You warned me never to steal from a pirate ship and look at me, in desperation I have... and look where it's gotten me..." Tears welled up in her eyes. "Papa, I'm sorry..." she said, biting her lip as a tear slid silently down her cheek.
*She lowered her face to her hands to wipe away the tears before putting on the ring her father gave her. Never in her life had this trinket ever gone on her hand, yet now it seemed only fitting she put it on. Jaden gently tied the pouch back to her hip before watching for the Captain, the Doctor or Miss Ares to direct her. But for now, she stayed against the wall, stomach twisted into knots from both hunger and nerves, wondering indeed what her fate was to be.*

Seeing that the Captain was busy with other things on his mind, she excused herself, grabbed her bucked of chicken soup, and her satchel from the back of the chair, and went back to giveing out soup to the hungry. On deck, she noticed someone chained, huddling in a corner, looking miserable, cold, and hungry. She squatted down in front of the girl, and said " Hi. I'm Destiny. You look like you could use a good meal. All I have is some chicken stew right now, but as soon as I get the galley back into shipshape, I'll have some better meals coming out soon. " Glancing down, she rumaged around in her sack, pulled out a large bowl and spoon, filled the bowl with stew, and handed it to the girl. Gently she asked "What's your name lass? And why are you in chains? If you want to get off this deck, you can keep me company in the galley if you like. I don't think that the Captain will mind. I seem to have lost my other 'helper', I think he ran off, but I'd be glad of the company." She grinned, and waited for the girl to finish her soup and give an answer.

It was obvious that his presence had either gone ignored or just unnoticed. Never being one to run from his problems, Doctor Baxter stepped forward.
"Excuse me, Captain. I believe you have business with me although you've said nothing of it yet."
He then put his hands behind his back... his right hand clenched in a loose fist and his left hand grabbing the wrist of the right arm.

*nods to the Doctor* Yes, Captain, you have much business to attend to from your absence. There seems to have been a stowaway and theif aboard as well, which the doctor has caught and sackled just over there... *she points out Jaden, seeing her talk to Destiny* She's been aboard awhile...

In everything else that had been going on, the doctor had indeed forgot about the woman he had caught aboard the Lady
