and guardian of all things."_______________________________________________ [Guardiankit nodded, immedately dashing off (as carefully as he could with his sister on his back) towards the elder's den. He peeked in, staring at the humble warriors curiously.]
"We'll be in this den one day," he commented proudly, "after we've served our duty to the Clan!"
[He nodded, seemingly prepared for that day. In fact, he felt as if he had missed out on being an elder. Geez, I gotta do all the work all over again. Don't I get any rest at some point?
However, the thought flitted in and out. He did not remember thinking it, he only felt the strange longing to be an elder and sleep and have nothing to worry about. I'm just being lazy! I gotta work to make Silentkit a warrior!
He blinked at the elders with wide eyes, still. They had served their Clan and were getting to rest, finally, in their last days. They survived war after war, trouble after trouble. They were the strongest and wisest of the Clans. He couldn't help but feel touched and humbled by their presence.]
"Wish I could show you around the territory," he mentioned in a low voice, "but there's not much to show anyway. It's all swampy and mushy and yucky. And cold. Still, it's NightClan territory, and we'll explore it some day-!"
[He wiggled at the thought. They would, one day!]

My ears perked at the sound of frantic flapping above. I looked up just in time to see the feathered prey haphazardly escaping. I looked at the cat again, relaxing my pose. My eyes narrowed slightly, and then calmed. It was Brokensoul again.
I smirked apologetically, starting toward him. I was done with what I was doing. We could gather our thing and head back. I eagerly trotted back toward where we had first met, retrieving my rat. I looked at Brokensoul expectantly, waiting for him to do the same.]

[I gave a small yawn within Lavenderstar's dark den, flexing my claws absentmindedly. I then overheard Marcy and Ducky playing with Lightsound, and it reminded me of something I had to discuss with Lavenderstar]
"Lavenderstar, a few moons ago, when I was out in the territory, I found three kits, Smoke, Ducky and Marcy. I brought them back here because there was no way I'd leave them out in the territory to fend for themselves, and you still havn't officially announced it to the Clan and accepted them, if that's what you plan on doing. They're all old enough to be apprenticed.
Also, Marcy's sister, who was a part of SeaClan, showed up here a short while ago. She's been kept under watch, but I'm not sure what to do with her. What do you think?"
[I curled my tail around my paws, tilting my head to the side, awaiting Lavenderstar's desicsion]
[I can't remember if Lavenderstar's old RPer accepted the kits, so I just thought I'd bring it up]

"Quwahahh" [Ducky blurted, the ever longing sense to say hi is duck barely controlled.] "Oh, I mean. Hi!" [Ducky quickly corrected herself, and setting an excited (but mildly flustered) look on her muzzle. She nodded toward Lightsound and Marcy, intending to show Rainkit to join in before quickly getting enraptured by all the fascinating things that were pouring out of the cats mouths.] "Woah. Yeah the mintoes were that small! How big are sal..moon? and troot?" [Ducky asked, lifting up her paw and giving Marcy an absentminded scuff over the ears.]

[Nightclaw walked across camp towards the freshkill pile, his usual cold and guarded expression on his face. He picked through the pile until he found a plump vole. With in his jaws, he walked towards his favorite spot to sit and began to eat.]

Leading the way back to camp he saw Nightclaw eating a vole. He padded over to the fresh-kill pile and dropped his catch. He picked up a frog and padded to where Nightclaw was. Brokensoul dropped his frog and mewed to Nightclaw.] "Mind if I join you?" [Brokensoul began to eat the frog feeling happy. Suddenly a dark aroua seemed to spread around him, blocking his senses...his hearing. He looked around wildly, only to hear Shadow's voice.] You can't stop me now... [Brokensoul couldn't control himself, he felt numb from ears to tail-tip. Shadow's presence grew stronger, Brokensoul once again in the darkness.] Noooooo..... [Brokensoul moaned before falling unconcious.] [Shadow laughed. He was in control again...he could get Scorchpaw from behind and finish her off. xxxxxxxxxxThe silent and misunderstood warrior of NightClan. [I sighed and started back to camp. My crooked tail dragged softly along the ground as I went onward after Brokensoul. I slowed my pace, letting him get back ti camp way before I did. I snorted slightly. I didn't like him...He talked to himself too much. There wasn't much I could do about that though.
Sighing a somewhat hoarse breath, I carried my rat back into camp. I froze at a panicked growl. My ears twitched, and my head whirled around to Nightclaw, and a fallen-over Brokensoul. Alarm pulsed through me, but I didn't rush over to him. He was probably tired from hunting or something. I snickered at this thought. Wuss I thought, itching to say it. Stupid toms this Clan was popping out these days weren't worth two mousetails! Without another thought, I set my rat in the fresh-kill pile before taking my post next to the exit of camp. My green eyes flickered to Willowheart once or twice before they settle on my paws.]

[I yawned and opened my eyes, taking my time to adjust to the gloom of the den. I stood up, fluffing out my fur to protect my from the cold, and padded outside. Blinking, I looked around, taking everything in. I spotted Swansong and grinned.

I smoothed my whiskers and fur, then padded towards the tom, sitting down next to him]
"Hello Swansong! Beautiful day, isn't it? How'd your hunting go? Good?"
