Mephlius walked into the residential district, and heard a cry of pain. He smelled a demon, and instantly assumed the worst. He charged into the apartment building, an slowly opened the door, guns drawn. "What's going-..." He stopped. A small, withered man was lying on the ground in front of him. "Th... Thank you..." "What's going on?" The man took a deep breath. "Please... I was locked in here. I don't know how long ago. Somebody wanted to torture me. They washed the carpets with... holy water. And... they put a crucifix on the doorknob. I've been here for days... suffering. Thank you... for opening he door." The man inched towards the exit. Mephlius helped the man up, and out. "Hey... one question. Can I have your place?" He smiled wide. "Yes... You can have it. I've already paid it off. Anything for you, since you helped me escape that torture. "Wow... thanks a lot!" The man grinned and walked away. "Woah. Wait, he must not be paying for it at all! I think the government pays our electricity. But... now I can move out of the barracks!!! YEAH!!!" Mephlius ran into his new apartment, and closed the door.
There was a plasma screen TV with surround sound and DVD, a couch, a phone, and a computer. There was a separate room with a bed and dresser. Additionally, there was a small compartment in one of the walls to store weapons and gadgets. There was a small room to the side of the living room, which doubled as a Kitchen and dining room. It had plenty of counterspace, a fridge, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. To the side, there was a small table for 5-6 people.

Mephlius was so overjoyed by his room. He laid down on the couch, and delicately picked up the remote. He was just about to press the power button, when his phone buzzed with a message over the HIN. He looked at it. R... Raevyn? Isn't that the girl Kuro is with? Well, she apparently not with him anymore... Wait... then where's Kuro? Mephlius fired off a text message.

Kuro entered the residential district and immediatly picked up on a large quantity of holy water. "Well, I think I know where Mephlius is hiding." He began climbing an adjacent fire escape, and hopped from it to the window sill of Mephlius` new apartment. He knocked casually at the window trying to draw his attention.

Mephlius heard the tapping on his window. He opened it, and leaned out. "Oh, Hey Kuro! ... You can't come in here. Long story short, there's a bunch of Holy Water everywhere."

"You don`t have to tell me, I swear I have a lycan`s sense of smell." He sat down on the ledge not really getting comfortable. "Do you know where Alasdair or Raevyn is now?" He said calmly, "The last moments I saw her, she was perfectly happy, then she checked her phone and had to rush out. I think Alasdair might have some strange grip on her that transcends her duty to the hunters." He tried not to sound like someone who would bend reality to defend someone, but ended up doing it anyway.

"Or maybe she has no dedication to the hunters at all, and was simply using us for information so she could get us all murdered by Alasdair." It was clear Kuro wanted to defend her, so Mephlius handed him the cold, hard truth of what could be possible.

"She didn`t ask me for a single bit of information, in fact, she gave me more information about herself than anything." He stood up on the window sill, turned around and looked up at the night sky. He decided to change the subject away from defending her, to something exactly the opposite, "I`ve been put in charge of her interogation when she`s captured."

"And once we've found her, captured her, and prepared her for interrogation... what are you going to do, Kuro?" Mephlius grinned.

Kuro paused for a moment, "I don`t know. Hopefully, i`ll do as i`m told and interrogate her." He didn`t feel like saying anything more, as thoughts of finding her guilty during the interrogation and how he would react. He finally ignored the thoughts and began talking again, "You never answered the question, where are they now?"

"If we knew, don't you think you would? They disappeared into the shadows, and we still have no clues. Remember, she's hunt on sight. If we knew, we'd have seen her. If we'd had seen her, we would have brought her back for interrogation, and you would know." He's not going to do it. He's going to break. Someone else has to do the interrogation for him...

"Well, I might as well relax, seeing as there is nothing I can do right now." He jumped back to the fire escape, which shook continuously for a while he then turned to Mephlius, "I`ll be at central park or something, i`ll try not to fight anyone, send me a message on the HIN if she is aprehended." He began walking down the fire escape, hoping it wouldn`t collapse on top of him.
