Barick nodded. He felt bad for even suggesting to leave her. "Don't worry, I won't." Barick told her. He started to take off his clothes, figuring Aislin would too.

Aislin sighed, and leaned back onto the tub. After a minute she started unbuttoning her shirt, it was still covered in his blood. She shivered and dropped it over the side, then wriggled out of her equally gore covered pants. Completely bare she drew her knees under her chin and hugged her legs, "When this is over... I'm burning those clothes..."

Core walked into Barick's house and collapsed tiredly on the sofa, too exhausted to go upstairs.

Chiasa followed after him. "Do you want me to move you upstairs?" she asked him. She felt guilty that he was so much more tired than her.

Chiasa wasn't exaggerating when she said the couch was small for both of them, she was only halfway on it. "You shouldn't be afraid," she said. "I'm here, and I'll make sure you're safe...." She put one of her arms over him.
