Hell, Metal is huge in South America. Mexicans shop at malls and wear Abercrombie, Puma, and Adidas. Mexicans also make fun of U.S. citizens of Mexican descent.

At the rate things are going, in the next hundred years or so the majority of the U.S. population will be of Mexican descent anyways... Or African-Americian, Philopine, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and so on. Us caucasians are pretty much going to be out of the running, though, what with our high divorce rate, low birth rate, and our tendency to rack up mountains of credit we know we can't pay. razz Third world countries listen to Slipknot? Nice--any chance we can ship the group there for a tour, then convienantly loose their passports and tickets for the return flight? mrgreen ... You're too lazy to do your own yard work? Hmm... Speaking of bands... Anyone here ever hear of Abney Park, Nuttin' But Strings, or the Yoshida Brothers? I like all those groups largely because they have a unique sound that tends to set them apart from mainstream music.
... Of course, I live in the midwest, so the same can be said of pretty anything I hear out here that isn't country, rock, or pop. xd
