Keith keeps hold of the urn and sets it in the bed next to where he lies down. "I didn't mean to kill her." he says. "And I didn't mean to hurt you." he says.

"I'm not too hurt. I was surprised by how well you were taking everything... so I guess I should actually have been waiting for it to all dawn on you and for you to get upset." Maddison sighs, "I'd really been hoping, when I decided to turn someone, that I'd be able to stop them from making the mistake you made."

"Not your fault I ran off." Keith replies. He snuggles into Maddison with the urn between them. He's starting to think that he really really likes this girl.

When the sun dips down past the horizon again, Maddison quickly regains conciousness. He looks over past the urn to Keith, and then plays with the other vampire's hair a little.
