Aries nodded compassionately.
"I'd hate him too."
She closed her eyes again and brought a four leaf clover off the ground, sending it to him.
"I have an unusually strong mind." She smiled at him.
"Best of luck with your brother."

" . . . " He nods as he said. " All i can do now is kill him. . " He said looking at the darkest parts of the forrest as he seemed to be saddened by this who would wish to kill a close person like this to them. He slowly shuts his eyes as he feels himself getting a bit of a stomach ack.

Aries stood up and dusted herself off. Walking slowly over to him, she kneeled by his side and placed her hand gently on his shoulder.
"No one ever wants to do it, but sometimes, we have to." Her smile was sad and her mind started to wander.
"Sometimes, it's for the best."

*Yotsuba looked at the tree once more, glancing it up and down one last time and chuckled. She was somewhat proud of the damage her sword could do when she used it. She smiled and removed her hand from the crisp bark of the burnt tree and took a few steps back from it. She felt like she should do something about cleaning up her mess but she also felt like just leaving it there and letting it naturally fall. She backed away a few more steps and streached her hands out infront of her and clasped them tightly together and cracked them a couple times*

"Wonder what else there is to do around here . . ."

*She said to herself as she took another look around the area of the forest she was in. She sighed a little seeing no signs of life around her and preceded to wonder off into the north direction. She thought there must be someone around here that was alive, besides the trees and all*

"Okay, thats enough of that." Kuro said to herself wiping her tears, cursing at herself for being such a pup. She stayed sitting in the small pool of cool water. She smiled sadly at her reflection, then became tense when she saw glowing yellow eyes right over her should.

She closed her ice blue eyes and her mouth became a firm straight line. She breathed in the air and found the distinct trace of wolf.

"You are to come back." A deep voice said. Kuro hugged herself, gripping at her bare shoulders.

"I will not." She said quietly. "Get someone else to marry off, I don't want it." She stared down at her reflection. Suddenly she was grabbed and a clawed hand was around her throat.

"You WILL show proper respect for you betters, half-wolf!" Kuro smiled sadly.

"What are you going to do, kill me? If so, then go ahead, I have nothing left anymore. Obake is dead and Irv-" She looked away. The wolf-demon holding her, dropped her abruptly, letting her fall to the ground.

"What if I go after him? This one that has imbedded his scent into your skin?" Kuro's eyes widened and her face drained of color. "So. . .you do love him." The wolf-demon laughed at her. "You have one day left, in that day, you will choose. . .let him lose his life or come back to our lands, the choice is yours." The wolf-demon then stepped into the darkness, leaving Kuro on the ground.

*Without warning, 4 consecutive tremors, enough to suffice for a small earth quake, would rock the surrounding area. Each of these tremors would be ten seconds apart. Twenty seconds after tha last tremor, a fifth, more powerful tremor would be felt. If one looked to the sky, they would see 5 balls of fire rising higher and higher into the sky, over in the direction of the citadel's surrounding mountains*

Kuro pulled herself up off the ground after a few moments past. She winced and her hand came to her throat, feeling what could only possibly be blood, dripping from the claw marks on her neck. She rolled to her feet and made her way back into the water, using the clear liquid to clean her wounds.

"Bastards. . ."She whispered, slamming her fist into the water. She froze and considered the water for a moment, her eyes widening. "It would be so easy. . ." she whispered, letting her fingers run through the water. She yanked her hand back and closed her eyes tightly. "No! no, no, no, no, no!" She sighed and pulled herself out of the water, her wounds started to seal up, an advantage on being half-demon. She pulled on her clothing, slowly as if stalling, then sat back by the waters edge.

"I can't leave. . ." she said quietly. "I can't, not until I've set things right."

*Yotsuba since the first tremor had attached herself claws and all onto a near by tree as not to be shooken onto her bottom. After she felt that the earth had stopped moving she lowered her feet back onto the ground and breifly looked to the sky, taking in the sight of the five balls of flames. She stared at them for a moment noticing that they didnt seem to be coming towards her or coming back down so to say so she went on and ignored them. To her something like that just wasnt a means for concern if it wasnt directed at her*

"Flying Fire . . . Interesting . . . But none of my concern"

*She continued on walking through the trees, not much of a path could be seen but she continued on. She gently pushed aside a tree branch here and there or moved shrub's that brushed against her, slowly taking in the sights around her. She wasnt too impressed with this forest, it wasnt any different then the others, but the one that was surrounding her old temple home was much more lush and comforting to her, when she was here she just felt empty and silent*

Walking into the forest from the direction of the Dojo, Focht started following an old path that he used to get to his favorite clearing in the woods. He wasn't that worried about anyone or anything out here considering how few people where at the dojo.

Continuing down the path, he cut off of it at a certain point and seemed to move among the foilage, barely disturbing the branches. His steps were quiet and seemed to not touch the ground. After heading alittle ways in, he entered the clearing. It wasn't very big but was enough for him. In the middle was a boulder that had a spot on top cleared of moss. Climbing up on the boulder, Focht sat with his tail curled in against his leg.

"I wonder why this place feels so empty.... No one is at the dojo for some reason."

Kuro sighed as she made her way from water, it would do good not to stay in one place too long. She frowned and wondered if she would still be able to get into Xol's keep, perhaps it was better to lay low until she knew what she was going to do.

She started to sing on her way towards the keep, it was a sad song, one that was hardly ever heard. Her voice was rich with warmth and it was peaceful sounding, a trait that she got from her mother. She felt her lips quirk up a bit in slight happiness, her eyes then drooped as she recalled the memory of her death. She shook her head to clear her mind of the image.

"The past is the past. . .I can't change that."

She kept walking through the brush, with slight hope that she would encounter the one person that now plagued her mind and her heart.

Verge strolled through the forest, his movement casual and nonchalant. He put a smoke to his lips and lit it with blue flames from his thumb. He took a long drag from the "cancer stick" and blew smoke out've the corner of his mouth. He ran a hand through his thick, and slightly shaggy black and white hair. There was a slight black beard coming on his face, the evidence of not shaving. He'd taken a nice vacation over the mountain ranges of the Black Company. His silver and gold eyes shined underneath the shades he wore. Sunlight filtered inbetween the canopy of the trees. His long black trench coat billowed around his feet as he traveled down a beaten, dirt path. He stopped for a moment, inhaling smoke from the cigarette sitting in his mouth. He blew it out, taking the cancer stick from it's place and tapping at the butt, relieving it of some ashes.

"What is it that keeps drawin me back here?"

Verge replaced the cigarette in his mouth and took a long, slow drag. He blew the smoke out've his nose, the fumes masking his face momentarily as he stood still. Verge sighed heavily and began walking again in the same leisurely place. He knew the answer. Though he wouldn't admit it. He wouldn't dare admit it to himself and would die first before he admitted it to someone else. Though he KNEW what it was that kept drawing him back here. That plagued him yet at the same time kept him going. The one thing he wasn't supposed to have. His soul.

Kuro stilled her walking and singing as she heard the sound of footsteps coming her way, getting closer, she sniffed the air, but whoever it was, was downwind. Her ice blue eyes widened and her hand went to her sword in caution. She waited for whoever it was, sliding back into the shadows to remain unseen.

"I swear if it's another one of those male wolves I kill him outright." She growled.

She sat still in the shadows, years of training taking over, her breath became low and even, and she remained ready to strike.

Verge knew full well someone was hiding in the shadows. And therefore he reached for Innocence from within his coat. He gripped the gun tightly in his hand and pulled it quickly from it's holster. He cocked the hammer of the gun and let it rest by his side. He'd wait for his assailant to make the first move.

"Come out ya little b*****d..."

Kuro stood frozen, her eyes wide in the darkness as she came to identify the person who came into view, her face went pale and she had to blink her eyes a couple of times, just to make sure it wasn't another one of her dreams. When he spoke, it enforced what she already knew.

Slowly, as though frightened, Kuro stepped out of the shadows. She was unsteady on her feet and she dropped her sword to the ground.

"Irvine. . ." She said quietly to the man who stood no more than a few feet from her.

"DON'T EVER CALL ME TH-"

Verge whirled around to the side, aiming his gun at his initial attacker. He too froze as he saw who stood before him. Innocence dropped from Verge's hand as his eyes went wide from underneath his shades. His muscles tensed and had his heart been beating, it would have shattered his chest. The cigarette fell out of the corner of Verge's mouth and landed by his booted foot. Verge felt weak. He felt as if his legs were about to collapse beneath him. He'd never felt so vulnerable.

"Kuro....."
