Enki shakes his head a bit as he turns and bends down to pick up his naginata, spinning in once in his hand before reattaching it to his back. He stands there for a moment, Asherah to the left of him as he sighs softly and shakes his head once again, as if repeat his refusal to himself.
"No, Asherah, but thank you," he says without looking at her. He rightly couldn't now. Due to his duty, he's lost one of the only things he treasures and he's rightly not sure if it was all worth it after what he was called to do.
"I'll probably be at my home for a while anyways. I need some time to think and reflect."
He turns back to her and gives her a small nod before turning back the way he came, stopping after a single step to turn and look back at her once again, taking in the sight and not knowing when he'll get to see it again.
"If you need me, find Alexander. He'll know where I am," he says before turning again and heading back down the beach, his sash flowing behind him almost looking to be waving at her as his hair it tussled a bit in a breeze.

She wanted him to say yes. Instead, she was greeted with reality, cold, harsh reality. Asherah felt like crying more, like she was going to throw a raging fit as he walked away, but alas, she merely gazed at him in an awkward silence.
Pipee finally made his way back to his master then floated up and gingerly nuzzled Asherah's hand. He knew, the little one always knew. Whining softly, he licked her finger and curled himself about her arm.
Opening her mouth a final time, Asherah was finally at a loss for words. She had nothing to say. And as he turned around, she meekly raised her hand and waved slowly before turning herself around and heading in the opposite direction.
"You hear that Pip?"
"Pfft."
"Now... I know how to find him.."
"Arroo..."
And that, they say, was that.

Two Weeks Later - Tuesday - 5:03PM GSTAlso about two weeks since Alexanders encounter in Sorrow's Keep PIME TARADOX!Alexander slowly walks through the market toward the docks, an small flute-like instrument in hand as he plays a somber, but uplifting tune. Tylas sits upon his shoulder, curled up with his eyes closed as he listens to Alex play, content to just relax upon his little perch on Alex's shoulder. Alex's deep, grey eyes look about a bit at the different booths and wares being sold throughout the market as he plays, casually ignoring the banter and calls of the sellers. Finally exiting the market, he comes to the main boardwalk and walks along the beach side slowly. His eyes close half-way as his body slowly sways with the tune leaving the wind-instrument, passing slowly by the main pier. The young, red haired man stops playing as he looks down the main pier and slips the small instrument back into a pocket. As if protesting the halting of the music, Tylas let out a little whine and looks up at Alexander, his crimson eyes half-covered in tired eyes. Alex smirks slightly at the small dragonling and lightly pets him on the head before heading slowly down the pier toward a small fish restaurant located at the end that sold sushi. " Come on, Tylas. Let's go get us something to eat, hmm?" he asks with a small grin, slowly wandering his way down the large, wooden pier.

At the bottom, a tired female form lazily plopping herself onto a bench, a small creature trailing behind her and following suit. Pipee curled up on Asherah's lap as she slowly rubbed her temples. She'd been looking everywhere, and her only being in Latent for HoH didn't make her a navigation whiz. The poor girl was lost. Looking down at Pipee, Ash gently scratched the underside of his chin.
"I've been looking for a few days for this Alexander kid, Pip." The creature blinked his beady little eyes and huffed, as if to respond. "Maybe we should call it a day, I don't even know what he looks like."
Turning his mighty little head Pipee huffed out and uncoiled himself from Ash's lap. The pipe fox zipped about in little circles before hurriedly flying over in the direction of the red headed stranger. Asherah's eyes widened as she stood up and waved her hands frantically at Pipee.
"Pipee! Come back here!"
Pipee soon reached his destination and twisted himself all over the place in front of the strangers face. The ever knowing Pipee had done it again.
"Pipee stop bothering him, augh, I'm so sorry sir." She rushed forward and snatched up the little creature by the tail. Making little noises, Pipee fell limp and hung motionless. "He's normally not like this, please excuse him!"

Alex stops as suddenly a little Luck Dragon-looking creature began twisting and dancing about in the air in front of him, a mighty curious sight for anyone to suddenly see for no good reason what-so-ever. Tylas uncurls himself from Alex's shoulder and reaches out, batting at the swirling and twisting creature. He turns to the small, blue haired woman as she suddenly runs up and grabs the small creature by his tail, the young man letting out a small, light-hearted laugh as she did.
"Oh, no worries at all, Ma'am," Alexander says as he looks at her with his almost soulless grey eyes. "It was kind of cute suddenly having a little fluffy thing flying in front of me."
He then reaches up and gently pets Tylas on the head as the small, baby dragon watches the little fluffy creature with his deep red eyes, lightly batting his wings, though still not healed enough to sustain him while gliding. it was obvious the young dragonling wanted to either pounce or play with the pipe-fox.

"Yeah, he's a good boy."
Smiling, Asherah wiggled the dangling Pipee gently, making the little creature huff out and blink a few times before bringing himself up and yipping. Letting go of his tail, Pipee floated up the the little dragon, sniffing at Tylas' nose cautiously.
"Ah well, we'd better be going, I've been looking for someone all day, now I'm just beat." Looking up at the man, Asherah held out her hand and grinned tiredly. "I'm Asherah, and yourself?"

Tylas blinks as Pipee sniffs at his nose, returning the little sniff before batting at the little floating creature. Alexander smiles to the woman and bows gracefully as he takes her hand, Tylas clinging onto his shoulder as the man kneels down and presses a small kiss to her hand.
"Alexander," he says as he stands back up with a soft smile. "Alexander Leviathan. A pleasure to meet you, Asherah."

Blinking a few times as Alexander pecked her hand, it took Asherah a moment to really process the situation. Either Pipee was a genius, or coincidence made a point to follow Ash around. She smiled.
"This might come off as a little strange, but, you're actually the someone I was looking for."
Looking around, Asherah only spotted the bench that she was sitting on, and that wasn't the best spot in the world to have a conversation. With a gentle sigh, Ash tilted and shook her head slightly.
"I'd really hate to interrupt your evening, but it's very important that I talk to you." Smiling awkwardly, she furrowed her eyebrows a bit. "I mean if you had any plans, don't let me ruin them."

Alexander can't help but blink a little bit as he is told that he is the person this woman has spent a good chunk of time looking for. Normally, he gets a bit wary if someone has been "looking" for him, but this one actually seems on the level, and slightly flattering.
Turning a bit back in the direction he came it, he extended his elbow, offering his arm to her as he nods his head in the direction of the end of the pier.
"Oh, no, it's quite ok. I was just going to go get some sushi," he says with a gentle smile. "You are free to join me and we can talk there, if you'd like."

A grin graced her features as she gently wrapped her arm through his while her other hand rested atop her own. It felt like a bit of a great burden had been lifted off her shoulders.
"That.. that actually sounds really nice." She giggled lightly. "Pip, that sound good to you?"
Blinking his black little button eyes, Pipee wagged his tail and nodded once. He was such a delight to have around, a real life saver. Reaching up for a moment, Asherah scratched the top of the creatures head before returning her hand.
"So you're Enki's kid, huh?"

Alexander smiles softly and begins heading toward the end of the peer, keeping his head forward, though his eyes gaze down at her as she speaks. Tylas watches the little fox thing before quickly scampering/slithering down Alexanders arm to Asherahs, then up to her shoulders to bat at Pipee's tail.
"Yes, I am, though we don't exactly have a bonded father/son relationship. With our travels, we don't exactly get to see each other very often."

Asherah shivered a bit when Tylas ran across her shoulders what with his little claws and all, otherwise, she didn't seem to mind at all. Nodding a bit Ash let out a soft croon in understanding.
"That makes sense."
Pipee on the other hand was having a Pipe Fox blast with his new friend. Spinning around in circles, he decided to perch on Asherah's opposite shoulder, and wiggle his tail in Tylas' general direction. It wasn't often Pipee met tame creatures to play with. Asherah continued, though, she was saving the serious conversation, in her opinion, for when they reached the stand.
"My daughter and I were like that."
Looking down for a brief second, she shook it off.

Tylas growls playfully and reaches across behind Asherahs neck to paw at Pipee's tail, his wings flapping a bit as he did. Alexander cocks an eyebrow down at the blue haired woman as they reach the small fish stand/eatery. He offers a seat for Asherah before sitting down himself, holding his hand out to Tylas. The small dragon looks over and hops up on his arm, slithering his way quickly up to his shoulder before curling up, Alex sitting right afterwards.
He orders mahi mahi sushi and a tuna sandwich for himself before turning to Asherah.
"Order what you like. It's on me, since apparently this is a business meeting," he says with a soft snicker.

Ahh, such a gentleman. Taking a seat, Asherah let Pipee curl up on her had until it was time to eat. In the mean time, she ordered the seared ahi sashimi, a plate of ono sushi, and a large plate of tofu. The tofu being for her little buddy, his eyes glinted at the very word.
"In any case, Alexander." She tweaked her lips to the side, she hated ruining a happy time, she rested her hands on the table. Though she probably hardly looked serious with a wagging Pipee on her head. "I need to talk to you about your father. I, well, he said that if I needed to find him, that I should contact you."
Her chipper, pseudo-energetic flare faded to let the real emotions shine through. Asherah was exhausted on so many levels, depression seemed to be second nature.
"And.. It's... It's important that I speak with him again.."

He smiles when the food is brought out and takes a piece of the mahi mahi sushi in chopsticks and holds it up to Tylas. The little dragon nimbly takes it into his mouth before holding it in his front claws and eats it slowly, purposely saving the raw fish inside it for last. Alexander then pops a piece into his own mouth and eats it before glancing over at Asherah with a slightly confused look. He, indeed, knows where to find his father if those are the words he used.
"So he's back... I heard he had to go do something important, though I'm not sure what it is," he says softly, almost contemplatively, Tylas now eating the raw yellow tuna and chipping happily.
"Why do you need to find my father, if I may ask?"
