A few hours later, Arrow wakes up. Now seems to be a better time to get out of bed. He slowly unwraps his arms from around Fox and stretches. Then he climbs out of bed and wanders into the kitchen to make some tea.

Foxy wakes up just a few moments later to an empty bed. He rubs his eyes a little, and then wanders out to see what's happening. He finds arrow in the kitchen, so he sits down at the table there.

"Good morning Fox." Arrow says, smiling at him. "I made tea if you want some. This morning, it's cranberry!" Arrow seems way to awake to have just woken up, but generally, he's just like that.

The adept sleepily mumbles an affirmative. Maybe that'll wake him up a bit.

Arrow nods and pours a cup for Fox and he sits across from him. "Sleep well? I mean, until feather head over there woke you?"

"Mhm." He takes a sip of the hot liquid, "I slept well afterwards too. And he did wake me up later than if I'd worked in the morning today, so I can't complain too much."

Suddenly a thought comes to Arrow's now awake brain. "Fox? Uh.... I think Lyr is bonding to you." he says. "I mean, he never talks to me anymore, just you. He didn't even call me when he was hurt..."

Fox has no idea about these things in general, and arrow is being silly by choosing to broach the subject when the adept had more or less just woken up, "He's... bonding to me?"

"They just bond to someone, just like that?" Fox asks, feeling a little distressed. He didn't think he could handle having a bond bird, let alone an injured one who needed a lot of care that he didn't know how to give.

"They can just do it without the person knowing? Whether or not the person wants to?" Fox says in disbelief. He know official thinks the entire Tayledras people are insane. he stands up, quickly finishing off his tea, since he'll probably need to be awake for this confrontation.

Arrow shakes his head again. "No, for a full bonding both parties need to be willing. That's probably why the darn thing was buttering you up like that."

Fox goes out to the living room. Lyr seems happy to see him, at first, until the falcon notices how annoyed the adept seems. Busted.
"What do you think yuo're doing, trying to bond with me? I don't know anything about birds, you need someone who can take care of you. I'm not even Tayledras, I don't need a bondbird!"
Lyr doesn't make any kind of responce.
