hehe, you do love to tell that one dont ya sai xp
ya know, reading Hatsuma's fight I saw something that piqued my curiosity
RPically using the com-link to get an awareness buff in this situation doesn't make sense. unless the other people with the com-link are able to see Hatsuma, which in a mechanics based stealth means they too would have to compete against her stealth check, and relay the information in a reasonable fashion to him, then the item is really rather useless in this situation O.o

They wouldn't have to compete against her stealth check. Why? Because if they saw her and told him he would automatically no where she was.
Think about it, if you have a comm link and your enemy is hiding behind one of three bushes, your ally over the comm tells you they're in bush number 2. You wouldn't then roll to see if you could figure out what bush they where in, you'd simply KNOW which bush they where in period.
Instead the comm link represents the ally, as Ele said saying something like "ok I'm looking at the western front, I don't see any movement, she's probably over here"
This way you don't get a 100% chance to find them (because they ally doesn't roll) instead you have slightly more knowledge of where they aren't or might be thus a buff to your awareness.
