xxxxxxxxxxThe silent and misunderstood warrior of NightClan. [I looked at my rat puitifully. It was small and raggedy lookin'. I blinked slowly. It was going to be a long leaf-bare. I started to bury the rat , but a sudden voice made me jump. I felt my heart stop for a heartbeat, and then restart with a much faster pace. I whirled around, my claws extended, but I froze as my vibrant green eyes focused on the bluish black tom. It was only Brokensoul.
My mind quickly sifted through files and files of cats, but it couldn't find this one. Weird. I didn't really know this cat. The corners of my mouth curled into a small smile as I relaxed my pose. He wasn't a threat. He was a Clanmate, after all. I nodded, smiling. I kept my facial features still even as my mind processed the first bit of what he had said. I snorted in my head though. Of course I couldn't talk, how could anyone forget?
I quickly buried the rat in the snow, giving a look to continue to Brokensoul, and started away. My ears twitched slightly, listening for sounds.]

"Thinking...." [Ducky casually tilted her head to the side and looked at Lightsound with a small smirk pressed against her lips.] "I dunno. You tell me." [She answered, happily flicking her tail high in the air. Her booboo's completely left behind in the dust, Ducky pranced after Marcy, sticking her head in so that she cast a small shadow over Marcy's head.] "I've never met a fish before." [She chirped, looking curiously at her.] "When I lived in the Arinian Flock, I could sometimes see them when we swam. But they never came up to greet us though. Have you ever met a fish Marcy?" [She questioned, eagerly perking up her ears.]

 The dark thought of ones mind... ☾Brokensoul☾ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [Brokensoul followed Swansong quietly, more farther away from Nightclan to look for prey. Nose in the air he tried to track down some food. He could smell a bird near by and crept to the spot. He let out a quiet gasp when he found the bird by a rock that was blood-stained and cold.] "Shadow..." [Was the only word Brokensoul could say before padding forward, creeping up on the bird carefully. Brokensoul pounced, killing the bird on the rock. It looked plump but a bit dirty. He burried it by the rock and soon caught a small mouse and a stringy black bird. He sighed and took his catch back to where Swansong burried his prey. Suddenly something hit Brokensoul, he could hear Shadow letting out his crooked laugh. He growled and stood his ground, not letting his get control. Shadow simply mewed.] You can't protect yourself against me...I will kill this 'Swansong' of yours and be done...he's no use to me if he can't talk.. [Brokensoul growled and breathed.] "He is my clanmate and I won't let you kill him, like you almost did to Scorchpaw..." [Brokensoul felt pain, Shadow's power was strong, he was almost lost in that unforgiving darkness again, but then he remembered Lavenderstar's words of being crazy like the old leader and being banished. He shook his head wildly he didn't want that. He let out a yowl, able to hold Shadow back.] Oooo...scary... [Shadow laughed and his voice began to fade away. Brokensoul began to wheeze and waited for Swansong.] +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ can change you...

What would it take for things to be quiet? Quiet, like the snow... And I know this isn't much but, I know I could I could be better...

Hauntedheart needs to heal you so I want you to go to the Medicine cat's den and politely ask to get some herbs...be safe." [Dovesong instructed as she felt liek a horrible mentor for letting...Shadow.. hurt her apprentice.] Find your way into my heart. All stars could be brighter... All hearts could be warmer.... What would it take for things to be quiet?

[Ducky gasped in shock at Lightsound's words.] "I've seen mother duck eat a fish before but it was so.... Tiny! Smaller than my paw even!" [She said, holding up her own, pink paw for the effect.] "But we mostly ate this green, wet stuff, grass, and bugs." [She looked at Marcy curiously as she mentioned a pink, singing, fish with a funny thing on it's head.] "Woah." [She meowed, clearly awestruck by her sights.] "All the fish I ever saw were.. gray. And they were real bad meaners, too. They would never play with me either. Never sang no songs." [She grouched, sticking out her lip. She turned back to Lightsound looking expectantly at her.] "Woah, your fish sang too!" [She said, her mind jumping ahead to an automatic conclusion.]

[she added.] Dovesong is like a mother to me. I can't have her feeling so sad... once I get these wounds fixed, maybe she'll feel better. xxxxxxxxxxThe silent and misunderstood warrior of NightClan. [I sighed as Brokensoul padded away to hunt. My ears twitched at the chirping of a bird. I smiled, not moving. I loved the sound of birds. It kept chirping, a complex series of pitches hanging almost mournfully in the air. I smiled even more, standing up. Where was the bird?
I quickly trotted toward the sound, being as quiet as I could. I finally stopped at the base of a pine tree. My vibrantly colored eyes locked on to a particular hole at the almost tippy top of the tree. There. That was where the noise was coming from. I smiled, sitting on my haunches. I stared at the hole, my unblinking eyes focused on it as if it was the only fascinating thing in the world]
