Soap actually never did go to a japanese restaurant. "Hmm, sounds like a good Idea, actualy." He noted as he finished with his cigarette and put it out.

((ANYWAYS, last post of the night. Peace, y'all!))

"I'd like to walk around a bit, though I'm not all that hungry to begin with." Tomoe muttered to herself, thinking. "But afterward, I'd like to sleep. I think it would be best for us."
"Oh, that seems very... depressing work." Ty Lee mused as she patted the side of her cheek in realization. "So this Naamu, is it a type of cat? If so, I have never heard of anything like it before. It must be one of a kind then!" She exclaimed with a light giggle.
"I don't know. And no, not really. I was just really out of it. Like, I'm tired and I want to sleep. But at the same time, I can't force myself to, it's weird." Toph replied at she continued to stare up at the ceiling. She suddenly began to be fascinated with a crack in it for not reason whatsoever. But well, it was at least something to pass the time with.
"Mother! Father! Where is everyone?!" Faya continued to call before she moved upstairs, hearing only silence. But once she reached the top, her eyes fell upon a terrifying sight. One that caused her to grab her face and scream loudly. "NO!"
Bunko laughed to herself, shaking her head loosely as she took hod of his forearm and tugged on it gently. "No, sorry. Maybe next time. This stuff is either eaten with a fork or with your hands." She told him before she motioned towards the portal. "Would you like to try it out now?"

"Really? Fascinating." It was and wasn't at the same time. He could be impressed with machines, but they weren't really his thing. Medic was certainly much more a biologist, and appreciated organic things far greater than mechanic. Still, to be able to wear his usual outfit was nice, as well as not having to worry about what happened to his weapons. On the other hand, he was now curious. They had an infinite supply of Mediguns; what use was he? Why bother keeping him around? Any idiot can figure out how to use one, it's not like it required special training. Did they really consider him part of the group and not a prisoner, now...?

Spy wasted no time getting changed and getting his equipment back. Only he knew what he did with the doctor's clothes. He was feeling a bit groggy, but he knew that was because he had been sleeping for so long rather than being in need of sleep. So he decided to go out, explore a bit more. Poke around here and there, see what's changed in the city while he was gone and what remained the same.

Gakupo laughed lightly as she poked it and swayed his finger. "Ah, you can't make it explode. Only I can, and I have to throw it to keep myself from getting hurt. Of course, I can't do it here. We're in a building."

Scout finished his sandwhich and fowned. Was Heavy not talking to him? Well, maybe he'd said something wrong about Pyro. He didn't mean to if he had. It was a conversation he and Solly had all the time... "So, excited to see, uh, Natasha(!*) again?" *He sounded excited when he said her name because he remembered it after he had forgotten for a moment.

Oomizu looked over to the Mongolian section before she looked up to him and nodded. "Good thinking. I was thinking of sushi from here, stir-fry over there (china) and some budae jjigae from there (korea)."

Oh, what a relief. Haku was thankful that he didn't mind having something she wanted. Now to find a restruant like that. She looked around and found a computer not to far off and held a finger up before she went over and pulled some wires out of her pocket. She then hooked them up to her headphones before stucking the other end unto the USB drive and began using the keyboard on her detached sleeves to look up different Japanese restruants.

Luka tilted her head to the side as she looked to Toph. "Well, I guess I can understand that. You've been sleeping a lot, so you have more sleep than you need. I actually heard that when humans sleep too much they become tired... Maybe you need to do something before you try to sleep." Luka smiled, almost proud she knew that little bit of useless information.

Hiruko shrugged lightly. "Not really. You come across a lot of interesting dreams... And I have found the more gore and raw emotion within a nightmare, the better it tastes." That awkward smile that looked as though it shouldn't even exsist on him crept into place at both the thought of a good and bloody nightmare and Naamu at the same time. "No, Naamu is his name. That idiot Hifumi thought he was being funny when he named a black cat that had wandered into the teahouse 'Nightmare' in my honor.... Heh, serves him right the cat would like me best." Truth be told, Naamu was the only other creature besides Hiruko that could handle being near his brief case (Naamu likes to sleep on it for some reason). Speaking of which, he took his cane with the brief case hanging on the hook and put it over his shoulder.

Vegisa chuckled "Wow that's so neat Gackupo~!" She said smiling up at him. :If people actualy liked these they'd be even deadlier~" She said in sort of an insult but really a compliment sort of way.
PostPosted: Sun Mar 28, 2010 1:15 am

Upon her witnessing, she just stood there. Looking down at the corpses of her parents, dead for more than a few days. Maybe a week or so. She smell of their decomposing flesh was all too much to bear. Her sensitive nose was covered with her hand as tears continued to make their way down her face before landing on the floor in some sort of triumphant fashion, like they had just finished a marathon. But they did, sort of.
With a light sigh, she felt her eyes dry. The tears had stopped. This was definitely unusual for her, but at that moment, when her head was lifted up to the light, her eyes reflected a bright blue instead of their usual dark brown. "Well, this sure is interesting." The voice said, coming from Faya's lips. Although it wasn't exactly her voice, there were still some great distinctions between the two. Faya's voice was usually sweet and melodious, but this one... it was manic, dark, twisted, everything that the real Faya just wasn't as a person.
If you hadn't figured it out by now, then you are dense. There were two souls living inside that now-matured body. And her body didn't do that on her own. Her hormones were like their were put on speed and began to work faster than they should have, giving her the body that was definitely not her own. It was someone else's, but she just blamed it on puberty. A dark shadow had fallen upon her body, upon her household. This new figure in Faya's body, touched her hand to her hip, now-cocked with slight victory. "Well, this is going to be a lot easier than I thought... if members just keep dropping dead, like flies!" She exclaimed before cackling once, tilting her head back to do so loudly. Damn, she felt so powerful, so victorious at this small event that she had nothing to do with, she felt that she could do anything if she just set her mind to it. Isn't that the statement that many mothers make to their son or daughter about dreams? Well, how utterly ironic in this case. "My dear Lum," She began as she squatted down into an open-legged squat, not caring as to what people saw. Hell, they were dead already. It wasn't like she would flash them a glare and threaten them with death if they had already met him. "It is so tragic as to what has happened to you and your mate... oh! And those pesky children that got in the way as well. I'm sorry I wasn't able to destroy you myself, since well, I had already vowed to seek my revenge on you for sealing me away for all those years. But this suits my revenge just as well. And so, if I can't have your life as my own, then see, I'll just steal this young girl's. Just like I stole her body, I will steal her soul... and destroy it." With another quick cackle, she stood up, and ran her left hand through her long, dark hair before she inspected her body in a hallway mirror. "It's getting there. Still not what I wanted but still... you can't rush this degree of perfection. Even if it is too perfect to be true.."
Before she knew it, Faya began to regain control of her own body. Well, it's not like she knew the intruder was active inside of her at the moment, but her inner conscious was becoming so strong that the figure decided to relinquish her control of the body until the next time that she was allowed to have it again. Once regaining control, Faya stumbled on her own feet, placing one hand against the mirror and the other against her head, trying to steady herself. "Woah, what just... happened?" She questioned before she looked around at the scene once more. Her mother, her father, the children... all brutally murdered. They didn't even have the decency to spare the younger children, even the infants. "Oh god... why?" She began as tears welled up in her eyes once more. "WHY?!" She exclaimed as she turned around and punched the mirror behind her, shattering the glass upon impact. Sparks of electricity began to jump from her fingers as she growled. "Whoever did this to them? Whoever brutally raped and murdered these people, will die! I swear to you mom, I swear I will find these people and make them pay! I swear!" She exclaimed, her electricity powers beginning to shift more into her flame abilities.
They had to come down and do this, when she was getting healed and treated for radiation poisoning alongside her sister. Oh god, Bunko. How the hell was she supposed to tell her about this? It was to gruesome, even for someone as strong as her to witness. And god, that smell would drive her away at the front door. Faya was now amazed as to why she hadn't thought of this, or even seen this coming before. Like, she heard about how rebellious people in the city were trying to poison her mother and the children before. But even if these people were strong, Chrono should have been able to protect everybody. Maybe he was away, tending to the fields outside of the city before coming home to the scene of the crime, before being finished off like his wife and the children of the orphanage. No, no one should see this. She couldn't bear to have someone else make judgments on this day, at this scene. No, she was going to have to destroy this place, taking the evidence with her. Yes, she knew what type of person she would be type-casted as. But if someone else, beside her, stumbled across this scene and paid no attention to the lack of self-dignity of her mother before she died, and now was left with none at all, she just couldn't bear it. "I'm so sorry mom, dad. I have failed you. While I was getting treated, I left you two alone. I thought that you two could handle yourself. I mean c'mon, you're my parents. You guys taught me everything I know about life and about my powers and well... I just wanted to say, that well, when everything's said and done, that I love you guys, so much. I just wish I could have said goodbye to you one more time before you guys were... yeah. But I hope you guys are proud of me and will continue to do so, even though I'm about to do what I've been planning in my mind for the past few minutes now."
With that, she turned away, holding a small sphere of fire in her hand. She felt the tears begin to form once more, but with a blink, she stopped them. "I'm not going to cry anymore. I'm going to be strong. I'm going to protect Bunko now. I'm tired of being the weak one, who must have others come to her rescue because she still doesn't know how to take care of herself. I'm gong to change, just for you guys." She was looking down at the sphere, and then at the floor. Hovering over the floor, her eyes shifted over to the window she was going to escape out of before sighing once more. She was sighing a lot. Well of course, her body was just overflowing with love, sadness, grief. Everything that you could possibly imagine at that moment, she was feeling. Well, everything except happiness. There was no way in hell that someone could convince her to even smirk or chuckle at this moment. Besides, this moment was one of the most serious ones in all her life. This was her turning point. Her moment to grow up. She wasn't going to be a kid anymore, as she stated before. She wanted to stand up to the people who took her mother away, who took the lives of those innocent children away. Her sister was like that before, an orphan. Her parents were killed before, and now, Bunko lost another set of parents. She didn't want to see her sister cry, but well, she would have to break the news to her gently, sooner or later. Sooner being the most practical decision at the moment. "I love you guys. And I hope heaven is going to treat you well." She muttered before she prayed silently, dropping the sphere on the ground as soon as she spoke the words, "Amen."
Quickly, she bolted the hell out of there. Like a bat out of hell, more like it. Since the structure was old, well, older, it would be easy to catch fire. And sure enough, it did just that. It started on the story she was just on before it grew bigger, engulfing the entire orphanage. The smell of rotting, and now burning flesh, made its way to her nostrils, causing her to grimace. But before she knew it, she remembered her sword, grabbing it from the urn on the front step before she retreated to her original spot on the road before the now-burning orphanage. She strapped the sword on her hip once more, making a quick religious motion with her hand. She looked sombre, serene almost. She was taking everything in stride now. Her dark brown eyes reflecting the bright flames, still glossy with the many tears that were shed during the scene that was laid out before.
"I made a promise, and you can be sure as hell that I will keep it." Faya said to her mother and father confidently, almost as if she were thinking that they could still hear her. Apparently she was one of those who believed in spirits still staying around long after they are gone. And it was that image alone that kept her going. As the orphanage continued to burn and finally began to crumble, Faya decided her time here was done and she took to the sky, to try to clear her head. But the image of the scene before kept returning to her mind, kept returning all of those feelings and thoughts that were first flooded to her. After a moment of it all, she began to cry once more. But it wasn't long after she began to weep heavily that she spotted a familiar face, well, spy, down below. "Master!" She exclaimed as she flew down to his side before diving into his arms, holding onto him. "I-I'm sorry Master! I'm so so sorry! I-I have failed you!" She exclaimed through terrifying sobs. She smelled of death and burning debris, but he could had just figured this out by the fact that she was just flying from a burning building that had plumes of dark smoke rising towards the heavens. "My parents are dead Master, they were murdered by the FOQ. I-I can't go on living this lie. I-I'm sorry Master, I'm so sorry..."

((Psssh, that took long. Good practice though. lol xp
And now to post for my other characters!))

"Well, what are you expecting me to do actually? Want me to work out? Take a shower? Oh~, how about I dance like crazy?!" Toph exclaimed with mock enthusiasm, especially with the last topic she had listed. She wasn't a dancer, and she wasn't one for dancing. She never was and still remains the same to this day.

"Heh, that's acutally a very interesting little story you just told there Hiruko." Ty Lee replied with a giggle before noticing his suitcase. Overwhelmed with the amount of curiosity from one simple packaging, she pointed to the briefcase that was placed perfectly on his cane. "Oh~! What's that Hiruko? I mean, what'chu got inside of it?"
PostPosted: Sun Mar 28, 2010 1:44 am

Gakupo smiled, a small sweat drop on the side of his face. Yeah, he was used to hearing that, and the expression gave it away. "Well, maybe most people haven't had it the right way..." Still, it hurt that she had said that.

Luka blinked with a touch of hurt to her face as she weakly said, "What's wrong with dancing..?" Toph seemed to forget Luka's exsistence relied souly on two things after looks, and they were singing and dancing... She took offense to the high sarcasm Toph showed towards Luka's life.

Hiruko smiled once more, but this one was much more of a subtle hostile meant to scare off any one who was on the recieving side of it. "Stay away from my brief case. What is inside it is none of your business, and everyone will regret it should it open." Truth be told, even he didn't know, but he did know that there was something powerfully evil withi the case, and to release what was inside could possibly harm ay one nearby.

((Jesus, dragon, you're going to take over my reputation of Master of Walls of Text if you post anything like that MONSTER right there again. lol))

Not having been to this side of town before, Spy didn't know that it was an orphanage that was burning. Didn't know that Faya's parents lived there. His apprentice needed comforting he knew, so he gently wrapped his arms around her, taking the cigarette out of his mouth and tossing it aside so she wouldn't get burned. "You 'aven't failed me, so don't worry about zhat," he tried to assure her. In fact, if she planned on being a full-time spy her whole life, it was actually a good thing they were dead. Less people to track her with or to, and less emotional ties that could be used against her. Now wasn't the time to say this, however. Faya was just a girl, who just come home to find her parents murdered. Spy could easily understand just how this might affect someone.

((I'm definitely going to have to do another one for the plan I have coming up. But after than, psssh, IDK. Maybe. And thank you Ruki! blaugh ))
"B-But Master, you should have seen them. Violated and desecrated in the most cruel way possible, even the children! I failed them Master. I-I should have been there with them, to protect them. And because of that stupid radiation, they're gone! It's all my fault Master! I... I wasn't a good daughter..." Faya exclaimed, becoming more passionate in her argument, but only out of anger for herself, which was also clearly shown. She continued to hold the elder man to her tightly, her head buried into the side of his shoulder. She knew of the last time she did this, she ruined his suit, so she just tried not to repeat herself. "I-I feel like such a fool..."

"W-Well um, that's a very good piece of advice Hiruko!" Ty Lee exclaimed, her eyes slightly widened by the fact that he just looked so creepy with that smile he was currently wearing. "But well, would you consider it something like Pandora's Box? A container of all the ails to mankind, held together until a curious nobody would open it and cause chaos to everyone in the world?"

"Eh?" Toph began as she turned her head to face her friend, noticing the pained expression that had now graced her usually flawless features. "Oh! Luka! I didn't mean..." She began as she sat up, not caring about the fact that she was still in her bra and underwear, well, most of the sheets were covering whatever needed to be covered anyway. "What I meant was..." She began again, but just couldn't put what she wanted to say in the correct sequence for her to understand. "I just... I can't dance.." She mumbled under her breath, looking down at the ground now, embarrassed.

Hiruko wasn't 100% on the reference she made, but he had a feeling that it was a similar case. "If it will help you to think of it, then, yes, this is Pandora's Box... But with much, MUCH worse consequences... Do I make myself clear? Honestly, even I have no idea what sort of power is in this case... So keep away from it." He was starting to count himself thankful that he always carried the brief case around with him every where he went, because he had a feeling that the second it was out of his sight that some one would try prying into it.

Luka was still pretty hurt by what Toph had said, even if she understood. She wasn't programmed to have her life be based so heavily on being able to dance. She was just human, after all. Luka on the other hand, she was designed to be perfect in anything (or close enough to) she did. Still, it affected her so much to hear one of the few people she considered herself close to say that. "It's fine... You should probably get some sleep. I want to go for a walk..." She gave Toph an awkward smile before she stood and headed for the door.

((You're welcome~))

"It is not zhe child's job to guard zheir parents, but zhe other way around," Spy began, trying to console her. "You were not a bad daughter. How could you 'ave been? You were called on a mission, which you completed to zhe best of your abilities. On zhis mission, you were gravely injured, and while you were recovering, those you cared about were murdered. Cruel, yes, but hardly your fault. What could you 'ave done differently? Ignored zhe orders from zhe god? Ignored zhis threat the space station posed? Always stay wiss your parents and give up a life of your own? Magically recover more quickly?" He paused a moment, to let his words sink in. "You 'ave done nossing wrong. Something terrible has 'appened to you, and zhere isn't anything you could 'ave done to prevent it. It is unfortunate, yes, but you are just going to have to accept and move on. I do know zhe 'accept' part of this could take some time, so don't feel like you shouldn't be sad." Now, Spy wasn't a sympathetic man, so while his words did contain it, the emotion wasn't there. He could empathize, however; could easily understand what someone was feeling. This was a spy in training, after all; once she had more time to deal with this, to accept the loss, then he would tell her it was a blessing in disguise. After all, the number one rule of being a spy was, "Trust no one." It was hard not to trust one's own parents.

(( 4laugh ))
"I couldn't do anything different... I was away, I wasn't there. I didn't kill them." Faya began, her head still upon his shoulder gingerly. She was coming to terms with a realization, which was one of the first steps to reclaiming her sanity. Her crying had begun to cease as she continued to clutch onto Spy back, just trying to have someone close to her, to keep her company and to make everything alright. "That's why I'm going to have to take revenge on the bastards who did this to sister and I. I'm going to have to kill them for what they did, how they affected everyone with their choices, and also, how those choices could also turn to become their downfall. No one gets away with a crime of that magnitude scott-free, I can tell you that much Master." She stated out loud, just talking about it helped her train of thought. And even though she did sound a bit crazy for talking like that, it honestly helped her, even though others might not think that's the case at all.

"Wait, Luka, I'm sorry." Toph began as she struggled with a moment to get out of the sheets of her bed, which got all tangled up by god-know-how. But once she broke free of the death-trap that was her bed, she ran over to her friend and blocked the door, before she could have a chance to leave without any sort of reconciliation service. "Luka, c'mon, you know me. I sometimes say things without thinking. I forgot that the project you were a part of made you be perfect, and one thing of that was dancing. I'm so sorry, I just have a different perspective and background of dance than you do, so of course I would think of it differently. Please, forgive me," She placed her hands upon her shoulders, staring into her eyes sincerely. Since getting the surgery, Toph realized just how much emotion can be seen through the eyes, not just the mouth. This surprised and actually impressed her, causing her to just stare at her, to try to convince her that she was actually telling the truth.

"Ah, okay then. And with that, I won't dare look into it. But you might want to warn others, just in case you and your precious briefcase get separated. Or maybe what if a crook steals it from you without your knowing and opens it, thinking that something valuable is inside? Oh boy, just thing about that now, geez, a death by a box must really hurt." Ty Lee mused to herself with a grin, scratching the side of her head once before looking off into space for a moment, giggling as soon as she returned to the reality of the situation before her. "So why did you decided to volunteer yourself to help us with this Haku? I mean, at first glance, you don't seem to be the type to do this sort of thing. So um, why did you?"
PostPosted: Sun Mar 28, 2010 2:35 am

"If zhat is what will help you move on, zhen so be it. I'll even assist, if I can." No one ever said Spy wasn't a d**k. Quite the opposite, in fact. "Just do not do anyzhing that will get you killed, oui? I've been growing rather fond of having you as my apprentice." If Faya looked up now, she would see a rare, warm smile from him. God only knew if it was genuine or not.

Luka stopped and immediatly bottled the emotions that she tried to keep everyone from seeing. She had promised herself long ago that she wasn't going to cry in front of any one (with the exception of vidoes), so when her eyes made contact with Toph's she sort of held her breath and blinked a few times to push the tears back. She knew this wasn't going to help her any, but she was too proud to let some one see she was crying because some one said dancing was silly. She listened to Toph's apology before she looked down. "It's alright, Toph, I understand. You had to focus on more important things when you were younger, whee I was literally created to be a performer and entertain people... I don't blame you for not quite seeing it the same way as me." She smiled up to Toph, making damn sure that no hurt showed.

Hiruko shook his head, keeping his cane over his shoulder calmly and not seeming to be all that effected. Actually he calmed down, and his indifferent expression came back onto his face. "I doubt any one would have the bravery to even touch my brief case. Most people feel sick just standing near it. They wuld have to have a completely evil heart to even stand opening it... And there is only one Baku who does... That is part of why I'm here... The other part goes back to the things I like... minus cats... And my name is Hiruko, not Haku. Haku is the girl with the red eyes and looks like she will jump off of a bridge at any given moment." He was pretty much here for the nightmares and avoiding people in his world.
