Aphismet grinned at seeing the mood change in Tyson. This was more like it! He laughed at the kid's question. "What he likes? Hahahah! Well, Rivener doesn't really like things. He likes TV and movies, he likes to paint, and he likes praise." The cook smiled and he scritched at Munchies' head quietly. "He doesn't like to be told what to do, or what NOT to do, and he doesn't like people that talk too much... Unless they're talking about him, that is. So when you see him, tell him how cool he looks and how much you like him." He smiled.
He wasn't about to tell him that Rivener didn't like hyperactive children... Hopefully once Aphi talks to Riv, the Raevan will at least try to tolerate the child.
Munchies practically purred as she was cradled against the boy's chest. Closing her eyes contentedly, she did what she always does when she's happy; she opened her mouth and chomped down lightly on the closest available thing; a finger.

Tyson frowned at the things he was told, maybe it would be harder than he thought. Atleast he liked all the things described, it was just the planning of them to do something. Also, the problem of getting the fiesty raevan to agree to them doing something fun. "Hmm....Aphi, I like all those things too! Do you think he would like to paint or go see a movie with me sometime when he's not mad? I could tell him how cool he is while we're doing it even! Kill two birds with one stone!"
The tyke sported a grin now as he thought out what they could do. Surely with them spending sometime together would win him points! It just had to!
As his thoughts danced into the realm of day dreams, he never noticed the readying Munchies in her moment of glee. The child yelped for a second or two, just surprised as he careened back into reality. "Munchies?" His eyes fell to the little gwee who was using his finger as her next meal. Instead of crying out or panicking as some children would do. Tyson laughed and tickled her with his remaining fingers, "That's the reason for such a weird name! It suits you! Now, let my finger go and I will give you some of my sandwich...erm...If its alright with Aphi of course." He added, unsure what a baby gwee ate and if she even liked meat of that kind.

Aphismet smiled. "Well, just be sure that you act nicely around Riv, ok? Just be calm and smiling, and he'll be alright. Painting together is a good idea, that's how Riv and me became better friends. Believe it or not, he didn't use to like ME very well either," Aphismet said.
"As for giving Munchies some sandwich, it'll be ok if it's just a little bit. Let go of the finger, Munchies!" Aphismet poked a bit at the gwee's head.
Munchies didn't want to let go of the finger, and she grrrled under her breath, opening an eye and clutching at the finger with her front claws. She wasn't about to let go without having the alternative right in front of her! Her tail twitched expectantly, as she understood that someone was about to give her something, but she didn't know what just yet.

We`rika watched the auction with quiet impatience. He was like a tired toddler forced to sit through a wedding. But he was doing his best not to whine or shift too much.
When Natsuki threaded her arm through his, the shaman looked down at his friend with his usual chesire smile until he realized how unusually quiet she was. She just rested her head against his shoulder, her pleasant warmth seeping through his suit. It felt good to be the one leaned on, to have someone think him dependable. And he would be for his friend; he wouldn’t neglect Natsuki’s affection. He turned to her, resting his unoccupied hand on her shoulder amiably. The Huichol looked down at his best friend, really his only friend, and began consoling her softly knowing he usually made women cry in these situations. “Wha’ are ya talkin’ abou’? I’mma pretty sure everyone in th’crowd is here fer ya. Yer the headliner, girly, we’re jes th’fine prin’.” He tried to break her worry with a friendly laugh. “Wha’ are ya scared of, gorgeous?”
"Seeds? Oh! Uhmm sure! " Sevilin reminded Ravi as he floated back to counter and grabbed a packet of daffodils. He rattled the packet in front of the tall man, grinning from ear to ear as he teased, "It'll be five dollars, though..." These seeds weren't going anywhere until Ravi forked over some cash. Well that was until he heard his name from a familiar voice. "Rivener!" The watery Frei all but slapped Ravi in the face with the seeds as he fluttered over to the poisonous Frei. "Heeey-HEY!" His blue eyes caught another Frei that was completely green! He seemed a little familiar from a party. "Ohh so cool!" The sea nymph gaped at Gage in unbridled fascination. "Do you ever take that mask off? Or is it attached to you? Have you ever seen yer own face?!" He was like some magical android on a scifi series.

Keirro strutted forward through the crowds, her long legs moving gracefully like a giraffe. Her eyes scoured the scene for anyone that seemed interesting to talk to. By interesting, she meant attractive of course. To those that did catch her eye, she flashed them a flirtatious smile. She showed that she was looking, but not desperate.
Her eyes settled on a stranger otherwise in a booth. He seemed interesting. "Oh, what do you have here?" she purred at Aphismet.
Meanwhile, Ranis, her charge followed her and glared a sinister look at those who walked too close to his guardian. Strangers were icky and they smelled funny. Why on gaia would Keirro want to be around so many of them? The young toddler was content to simply follow her as he looked around the scenery, his feral eyes judging everything.

"I'll be nice! I promise!" Tyson chimed in before the other finished since he wanted to make sure Aphismet knew this before he got around to saying anything else. As he continued to listen, Tyson showed shock and concern at the news. "But...why didn't Rivener like you at all? You're very nice." He questioned, unable to picture anyone hating sweet and charming Aphismet. Although Tyson knew that he did receive plenty of positive attention from the young man, so of course he would be okay in his books...but what could have led Rivener to hating his kind guardian in the first place?
Ty looked down at the little gwee as she continued to grasp his finger in her mouth. He wiggled it for a moment, making sure he could still feel it, just to make sure it was all still intact. "Oh! Aphi, could you get out my sandwich for me, please? She won't let go....and I can't get it because I'm holding her." Tyson requested, bobbing his head in the direction of where he placed the baggie.

RoChan was finally tired of wandering through the crowd in the heat of the summer day. Cursing her thoughtlessness in not bringing in a bottle of water in her sling bag she turned back around towards what she hoped was a concession stand. If there was one thing RoChan did not mess with other than money and power, was dehydration. The last thing she wanted was to have a heatstroke and faint in the middle of park. That would be absolutely embarrassing.
As she made her way through the crowd back to the booth near the merchandise she paused suddenly. The soft scent of fresh cut flowers tickled her pert nose and she let out a small cry of glee. Flowers! She loved flowers! She loved admiring at them, smelling them, arranging them, and killing them. Well killing them was never her intention it was just that RoChan suffered from the proverbial black thumb, though hers was probably the blackest of them all.
At first she had thought that her black thumb was just as bad as any other person and when she had managed to kill a bamboo in less than two weeks she had grown weary. Ever persistent she attempted raising a cactus only for it to meet the same fate as the other perennials. Finally giving into the fact that living flowers were not something she could attend to she purchased an arrangement of fake flowers. However, less than a week later a vacuum cleaner sucked up the bright silk blossoms and RoChan threw her hands up in defeat. Perhaps the fact that she could not have them made her love the delicate things even more.
Not caring who was around, she swiftly detoured towards the booth and cooed over the colorful flowers like a love sick schoolgirl. “So lovely! And so many too chose from!”

Aphi bent down to retrieve one of the two sandwiches, smiling at Tyson. "She's not hurting you too much is she? She usually gnaws quite gently, but... And anyway, Rivener didn't like me because I didn't pay enough attention to him. He was right; I always thought that because he looks grown up, he was grown up. But really, he's not; he's still very very young."
Unwrapping the sandwich, the man handed a bit of it to Tyson, so that he could offer it to Munchies. "Rivener is someone really hard to get along with. You have to keep trying different things, and if you're brave and tenacious enough, you'll be rewarded by his friendship. He is very loyal and protective to those he likes, and so it's worth it, I think. He would die before he let anyone hurt me or the rest of his family." He grinned, thinking of how the half-body Raevan used to fling himself at any threat when Eiry was young, in an attempt to keep the little green Frei safe.
Munchies was wiggling in place, smelling the ham and cheese and bread. Could that be for her? Her tail twitched a little more and she opened her eyes, chewing on Tyson's finger thoughtfully as she watched the sandwich bit attentively.
Aphismet, still holding out the sandwich for Tyson, blinked as someone visited his booth. With a smile, blushing slightly at the strange flirting vibe was getting from the woman's behavior, Aph explained. "Erm, this is the booth for the Cook Off. Later, there will be a contest for summer desserts." He stood up and bowed his head, offering his free hand to the woman. "My name is Aphismet. Pleased to meet you!"

"Pleasure is all mine.I'm Keirro." replied Keirro. Now this booth sounded interesting. Her iced tea and lemonade were known throughout her patients and the refreshing beverages would make a refreshing treat for the judges, especially if she made one of her lemonade recipes into a mousse.
Keirro glanced at the strange creatures around her. They were in various shapes and sizes, but most of them did not posses legs. Her natural curiosity overwhelmed her and she leaned against the table gently to talk in a lower voice.
"I've noticed that some of the booth operants do not posses legs. I'm not familiar why." she asked cooly.
Ranis glared up at this strange man. He would look intimidating, if he wasn't smaller than a sack of potatoes. He flicked his deer-like ear and scratched his horns.

"Nah, she's a good girl. It just tickles." Tyson cooed to the little gwee as he stated that he was fine. "Hmm....if he's young, then maybe he and I will get along if I can win his friendship. Although, I might be as old as you by the time I accomplish that!" Ty just laughed off his nerves, hoping it wouldn't take him that along...although it was hard to tell thanks to the slow rate he was starting at.
As the newcomer crossed over to where they stood, Tyson peeked over the counter to get a glimpse at her. Nope. No one he knew. His little hands slowly reached over to where Aphi's hand that still held the food was. It only took him a second to snatch it away and hand it over to Munchies with pure delight. "Eat up!"
While the gwee was busily eating that snack up, Tyson's attention turned back to the woman's, "I'm Tyson! Hi there!" He greeted her with a flash of his toothy grin. "Those are Raevans by the way, Aphi here has one." The little one made sure to add, having quickly piped in before Aphismet to successfully steal away his answer to the women's question.

Aphismet had indeed been about to answer when Tyson had answered for him. The man chuckled. "Yes, like Tyson says. Those are Raevans, and this Festival is to help rebuild the Lab that makes them. I have one of my own, he's red and black, long hair... if you see him, be careful, he sounds like he's moody today." He grinned.
"And I see you have a strange ward of your own. May I ask...?" Aph began hesitantly, pointing at Ranis.
Munchies has chirruped happily at the sandwich, letting go of the boy's finger to leap happily at the snack. She was careful not to snarf it all down in one unladylike gulp, taking instead small bites and savoring them, eyes closed happily and tail swaying. She let out little Gwee hums of happiness as she ate, bobbing her head to music that only she could hear.

"I see." said Keirro as she looked around her. She then finally looked down at Ranis, noticing how out of place he must look amongst all these beautiful creatures. The doctor lifted him up and sat him down on the edge of the booth. She stroked his hair, trying to rearrange it into less of a mess.
" Some call him an Illusionary. I have come across a few of them, but they don't seem to try to eat beetles or attack unwanted strangers." she replied to Tyson and Aphismet.
"Ba." Ranis woofed. His lion tail twicthed back and forth as he relished the attention from his guardian. He closed his eyes and seemed to almost purr in contentment.

Ravi pulled out his wallet and handed a bill to the Raevan, almost annoyed that the creature was requesting for his money instead of the solace of his fellow Raevan's soul. The female Raevan looked so distraught - how could her silent desperation be so easily ignored by something as sweet-seeming as Sevilin?
But he remembered his temper, just as he had vowed to before entering the festival itself. No sarcastic quips or frantic tantrums, especially not around something as magical and infantile as the Raevans, or as worthy of his groveling as Dr. Kyou. He took the package of seeds offered him just as Sevilin turned away to face yet another new Raevan - no, TWO Raevans - who were approaching the flower booth.
Ravi nodded to both, not really sure how else to greet them. Both were lovely, though in quite different sorts of ways. One oozed sex appeal, sex appeal of the orientation Ravi was rather familiar with, and it made the magician's stomach swirl with unease that something so deceptively young could make him feel... well. Could render him speechless, and thoughtless, and almost without balance. The other was of a more verdigris hue, though hardly reminiscent of the greed, envy, or materialism usually associated with the color. He radiated mystique, but also uncertainty, and briefly Ravi wondered just who of the duo was leading who.
He let his thoughts slip past him, and crouched down so he'd meet the Raevan's eye level. He poured some of the seeds into his hand and held them out to the Raevan. "If you put these in the Earth, then they will grow into flowers. But flowers, whether you pick them or not, will die eventually." He paused, then added, "As does everything."

Tyson nodded his head as Aphismet spoke, agreeing with everything he said. Since he was in the presence of a lady, he wanted to make sure that he looked as intelligent as he could. Women liked smart and polite kids after all. For a moment he glanced over to the women's child, not saying a word at how strange he looked, in a cool way of course. The child's animal noises reminding Tyson of the animal's he would hear on a farm of some kind.
Ah well, whatever he was he seemed fine. With that, Tyson turned his attention back to Munchies, laughing and giggling at how adorable she looked while eating her sandwich. "I'll have to bring you more food, Munchies! I bet you'd lke some grapes, huh?" He told her behind coos of adoration.
