"Of course, though there probably common around here." She said, as she shrugged.
"My abilites are I can manipulate the wind and earth, and I also know various healing spells." She said, as she picked up her spoon and stirred her ice cream. It was pretty much all the way unmelted by now. She then spotted a strawberry, and scooped it up with her spoon.
"Do you have any abilities?" She asked curiously, before eating the strawberry.

Zero listens to her intently, nodding when she mentions her various abilities. When she comes to her question, Zero stops.
"No."
He says it quite abruptly.

Hana didn't know what to say when he answered. In a way he didn't seem to happy that she asked him the question. Her face turned a slight shade of red from embarrasement.
"Umm but what about the ID card? No ordinary person could throw it like that." She asked, as she began to talk in her quiet shy tone of voice again.

Seeing her face expression, Zero realizes his rudeness.
"No no...I'm sorry. I didn't mean that to sound wrong. I just don't have any abilites. Just kind of an innate sense of....well....we won't get into that. I just have worked pretty hard at the skills that I have. Nothing special about it."

Komlon had been quiet. Then it clicked. "Oh, you know healing spells? When you offered to heal my burn, I thought you were offering some sort of medicine.I'd like to see your spells in action." he says quietly, as if not wanting to reveal how naive he was.

"Yes there is." She quickly said.
"They are special though, not many people could do that kind of stuff. The only way I could ever do that is if I used my wind manipulation abilites. Even then it would take me along time to get it perfect." She quickly exclaimed, but then realized that she was getting loud. Her face turned a slight shade of red, as she avoided eye contact.
"Im sorry this must all sound ridiculous." She said, as she placed her hands on her lap. She then turned her attention to Komlon as she smiled cheerfully at him.
"Ok, here let me see you hand." She said cheerfully.

Komlon pulled up the sleeve of his hoody, but it fell down after he took his hand off of it. He pulled it up and held it up. He then noticed how quickly things were progressing. He thought he was going to be the new kid for longer than this.

"Yeah...Special that I was able to spend my whole life perfecting something that others have automatically. It was work out of shame..."
Feeling the bitterness enter his voice, Zero pulls himself back from it, not letting his anger flare.
"I'm sorry...apparently I'm just not very good at talking to people. It doesn't sound ridiculous at all, I see what you are saying. I'm just a bit......bitter, sometimes. You'll have to forgive me."
Turning to Komlon, Zero sees the burn for the second time.
"So, Komlon, you have a room yet?"

Hana then carefully grabbed Komlon's hand, as she examined it. She then thought of the perfect spell to heal it with. It wasn't a major spell seeing how it wasn't severe, but it wasn't that minor either. If done correctly it should of caused a cool soothing effect. Placing one hand onto the burn, she then concentrated her energy into the spell. Her hand had begun to glow a silver color, as the silver like aura began to flow around the burnt area. A couple seconds later the burn was gone, she then clapped her hands together as she inspected it some more.
"How does it feel?" She asked curiously. She then turned back towards Zero
"No it's my fault. I tend to pry into other people's business" She said, as she leaned back in her chair.

Leaning over her spilled books her lighter fell from the pocket on the front of her shirt. Reaching to grab it, the lid flicked open and lit it
"Oh sh-"
Watching the flame leaped up from the lighter and catch the books, her power starting a bonfire in the midst of cafeteria as it spread to the wrappers and paper on the table. Flustered she lost the little control she had as she grabbed her milk and tried dumping it on the flames, tearing off her warm overshirt and beating at the mess with it
"Damnit, not even 2 hours and I've already started a fire!!! Crap, go out, go out now, crap crap crap"
Putting out her accident she fell to the floor, sweaty and blackened and feeling grimy from the mess she'd made, cursing a blue streak as she sat there

Seyla Hawking walked into the cafeteria. The only real reason she was here was simply to get something to eat, and see more of the school. Yup she was the new girl on campus. She still had yet to get a dorm and everything, but hopefully that would all work itself out. For the day she was wearing her favorite lace halter top and her dark blue jeans. She was fairly tall standing at 5'8" which in some ways was an advantage. She could see over a crowd but in no way could she ever hide in one like those shorter than her.

"You didn't get in my business...I asked you a question and you asked me the same. Don't worry about it."
Suddenly, flames lept up in Siav's peripheral vision. Getting up, Siav quickly jumps the table, and gets to the fire. Orange and red tongues lick upwards, heat emanating strong. Grimacing, Siav takes off his shirt and smothers the flames with it. When the fire is succesfully out, he takes the shirt, shaking it out a few times, then puts it back on.
"Maybe it's a good thing I don't have abilities, seems like they can be pretty dangerous."

"It feels almost as good as it looked." Komlon says. He was starting to trust these people, rather quickly for some reason. Maybe he just needed some friends and that was his problem in life. He smiled to Hana. She was good looking, and she was nice. He could really like her. Then he realized his chances with her were slim to none. "Thanks" he says waiting for her to finish the inspection.

Looking up sheepishly her face burned bright red beneath the blackened mess she was. Grabbing the lighter she stuffed it back into her pocket, her lip sticking out and quivering as she realized all her books were gone
"My poor books... um, thanks"

She had watched the whole scene from where she stood. She was still at the entrance of the cafeteria. She guessed it just hadn't occured to her yet that she wasn't the only one with powers in school anymore. And to this this girl was a lot like her! She could manipulate fire as well! She could feel herself growing excited and almost went over to introduce herself but then stopped.
"Are you stupid! You're only going to move soon! Don't do it again. You'll only hurt yourself if you make friends again Seyla!" she told herself in a hushed tone. She just hoped that no one had overheard her little comment to herself.
