NOTICE: ((Ok, so to make this clear, my last OOC was for everyone, not just Eve. I'm sick of people picking at everything people do in a post, so I am making a new rule! From now on, do not OOC post to point out somthing wrong in someones post unless it effects how you will reply. If they are posting incorrect information about your character or an action that directly effects you. If it is somthing in a characters mind that in no way effects you or your post, leave it alone. Eve, I didn't mean to sound like I was picking on you, this is for everyone, I am sick of all the OOC nit-picking. Failure to obey this rule can result in two warnings and if you persist an eventual ban from the rp. I want this to move smoothly, which means we need to avoid stopping for pointless reasons.))

"Impressive," Bayer replied. And truly it was; the Great War, even though it was just a bad memory now, had been the scene of some fierce fighting. If she had the power to help significantly during the war, than she might well be much more powerful than him. It also had to be granted that one alone, unless a Chosen, could not possibly be more powerful than a hundred soldiers, many of them mages as well. And yet, this woman had to be powerful. Maybe she did have a reason for pride. It didn't matter; it would still end up getting on Bayer's nerves.

Arigoth Stood back for to let all the calamity, that had just poured into his room, to subside. He stood leaning up against a wall, almost leasurly but with a very serious look on his face. He folded his arms listening to what was being said and waiting for a good point to enter all this calamity. Ryku by now was on all fours ready for anything. That is until Arigoth raised his hand to wave off Ryku.

((Kakash, you kinda ignored Kel talking to you sweatdrop but since I don't want to stop the rp again I'm just going to post ahead and try and make it work, but from now on please backread everything so that you don't miss things like that o.k? ^.^))
Tim twitches an eyebrow. She didn't see what was so impressive about it. She had done her part, like everyone else, paired up with teams of soldiers, standing in the background and launching attacks to weaken the numbers that rushed at those on foot. As far as she saw it anyone with her talent would, and should, have done the same. This one was odd! She shrugs one shoulder. "Duty is not meant to be impressive. Each must only do their part!"
Aros looks disbelievingly at the little man. The fool literally knew nothing! The world was no at peace, and the chosen could not be left alone to do as they wish. He could do no more then shake his head. "You foolish little man!" he says, still shaking his head "You really do know nothing of world, and instead of trying to learn, to understand, you make stupid assumptions and expect the world to leave you alone!" his face turns dangerous as he leans closer to Duo. "No one is left alone these days, no one is free to do as they wish. Each must do his part, and its about time you did yours instead of hiding behind some pathetic priests!"
Seere brushes into the room, noting it all. Kel standing near the door, panting heavily and looking overly angry. Kakash leaning against the wall, acting as if nothing out of the ordinary was going on, not bothering to see if he could do anything as did Aluure and Kelvar. He shakes his head. At least he wouldn't be stuck travelling with the chosen of fire, if his attitude was as such.
He finally glances down at his older sister, noting her pinched and pained face, the clear distress in her eyes. He crouches down beside Diandriel, Luuva pulling Aluure gently aside with a firm hand. He stares into Diandriel's eyes for a moment, his sympathy for her showing clearly in their emerald depths.
All heirs to the wood inherited an ability to scense when there was trouble in the woods, though the trait had become weak and diluted over time. Seere had managed to inherit a stronger trait then his father due to his mother being the last chosen of earth. Seere had felt a strange twinge a few minutes ago, but nothing more. Diandriel though, was not only an heir but also the chosen of earth, and dedicated to the mighty Emerald Oaks. Instead of an insignificat twinge, she would have fealt a crushing pain in her chest that would leave her head spinning and breath short. It had happened before, but many many years ago, during the great war. it worried him that something was once again destroying trees on a scale that would so greatly affect Diandriel. At least now he knew his hunch had been correct.
All heirs to the wood were born with a touch of magic, not an elemental magic, but a gift from Tuima, an Atalantea related to plants and growth. It allowed them not only to feel when the trees were harmed, but among other small gifts it allowed them to ease the pain of their family if they were overcome. The strength of these gifts were different in each family members. For Diandriel, the scense of the trees was strong. For Seere, the slight healing ability was strong. A lucky coincindence if nothing else.

((thanks D))
When Luuva pulls Aluure away from the princess, her little hands tighten momentarily on the Princess' arm. But knowing the Prince and his guard were there, it overrides Aluure's reluctance to be parted from her hero. Her gold tinged green eyes stay locked on the Princess as Aluure transfers her worried grip to Luuva's arm. Her innocent little face pinched with concern.

((Sorry bout that I must have over looked it, I skimmed the posts trying to pick out real important facts, sorry again.))
Arigoth looked over to Kel with a serious look, "I'm not quite sure, her ladyship just dropped to her knees suddenly." He said staring Kel straight in the eyes. "Beyond that I'm not to sure." He said still with a serious look on his face as he shifted to the two Royals. "Hmmm" He say's to himself as he raises his hand to his chin to ponder on this.

"True, but 'doing your part' in the Great War was no small matter." He shrugged. "Rough fighting. Some of the battles, you know, were bad enough that surviving was mildly impressive as it was."

Duo's face looked back at Aros. "I was not hiding, i was running ... Did you not notice that they wanted to drag me back into that cave?" He said pointing to the direction he thought he came from. "And you need to calm your temper, Now please put me down ... i don't see what use i am to your problems any way. i don't fight wars, and i certainly will not fight a battle for you" He replies speaking total truth that he would rather flee than fight any day, and as such he had always done this, he had no reason to fight, no need ... He was a coward and while this may be true who would he protect ... it all seemed rather unimportant.

((pokes rp))
When Seere excuses himself from the table, Kan nods but continues eating. As she chews she notices two sketchy looking characters. One inches towards Kel and Aluure's things left by the door, while the other tries to look casual as he sidles towards the stairs his eyes flickings around the room. Merkanin's eyes narrow as she leans back dangling her goblet of wine by the tips of her fingers. Her fingers tighten on the cup slightly, a soft white glow comes from her hooded eyes casting shadows on her cheeks. The one trying to go up the stairs slams into an invisible wall and the one by the bags grabs his chest. With her eyes glowing that eerie white light, Kan tilts her head at the one by the stairs. "It's getting crowded up there. Wait a few moments." She says in voice that seems detached of emotion. With Seere's words ringing the bells in her head, she wasn't going to take any chances. If Dia was up there, she wasn't going to let just anyone up there in those close confines with the princess. Kan knew about the spies that haunt Dia's steps. She of course had no idea who they were, but that doesn't stop Kan from preventing any wannabe assassins or I-spoke-to-the-princess glory moochers. When the two she had stopped scramble away from their targets, Kan releases the hold on the air that was in the would-be-thief's lungs, but keeps the barrier of solidified air at the foot of the staircase. The small pulses of her power keeping the low light in her eyes and the barrier in place. Taking a sip of her wine she thinks of her brother. Suure should be here then. If Dia is gathering the chosen. He should be with her taking our Father's place as the chosen of air. I guess Suure was right, I found the message. I really wish Father had told us who the God had chosen. I would have loved to fight along side the others of the four. Suure would never allow me to fight with him. Why hasn't he begotten some kids yet? But then I guess I'm not continuing our bloodline either... Looking around the tavern at the remaining patrons who hadn't left or gone to bed yet, she shudders seeing the prospective men in varying forms of drunken stupor. Don't think I'll be getting anywhere near that anyway. The men at home are political ornaments and the ones here are... ew
((ok... really really brain-dead... I'm rambling... my mind is so totally going on way too many tangents that go to no where. ACORN!!! xD (yes only D will understand that part) sweatdrop ))

((I was trying to wait for your to reply to Kakash eve sweatdrop but since your threatening me I guess I'll forge together a post))
Anger? Aros shook his head. Why did he always get stuck with the fools? He forvefully softens his expression but his voice still held the force from before. "You have only two choices! Join with my Lady Diandriel, who is well known by everyone but you for her kind heart and strong will, or you can die here and now, for if you do not join the cause, I cannot allow the chance that your power would be turned against his" he expression turns sad. "And as a follower of God Water, as a patron of Sapphire Landing, you must believe me when I say I do not wish to have to take that path!"
Tenjina sighs sadly, dropping her eyes to the table top. "That is true" she says in a murmer. She had seen many fragile friendships shattered with the rough sweep of the enemies swords.
Seere watches his elder sisters chest heave with the effort of drawing breaths, her emerald eyes watching his intently. She was managing to keep the pain under control. he knew that it would be crushing. He remembered the first time, so long ago, when Diandriel had first suffered such an attack. He had been young at the time, and as such the event had been terryfying to him, seeing his elder sister doubled over in pain, screaming with each slight breath she could draw, her bright green eyes squeezed shut as she cluched her tunic.
Their mother had been able to help her, though in those breif moments before she arrived Seere had only been able to watch in mute horror.
He shakes his head. No time for such thoughts! He nods to Diandriel, letting her know he would begin before gently laying a hand on either side of her head. He would start with the head pain and work his way down, since she would react better with a clear head.
He begins to chant slowly, under his breath, his own emerald eyes closed as he concentrates on the difficult chant. It only worked when spoken in High Elven, a language few besides the royals understood, since it had been mainly forgotten during the great war.
Methodically he works his way down, laying his hands on the sides of her body to heal each specific spot of pain. As he does this Diandriel begins to visibly relaxes.
Luuva moves her grip to the girls shoulders, squeezing in sympathy. She knew it was not easy to see one under the curse of Tuima, no easy to see the normally strong and powerful Lady Diandriel reduced to this trembling being.

Duo froze. he was given the choice of death or life ... and it indeed boiled an anger inside of him. Why did everyone around him give him this choice ... he was was forced to learn ... he was forced to preform magic and he was now forced to follow some elf! He Gritted his teeth and gave Aros a dirty look. "I will not run, But don't expect me to help you ... i Will not fight any battles, and i am not easily controlled ..." He said softly Giving in to Aros and stopping his struggle. it was an honest answer ... it was not the only time he had been threatened with death, even his own family said that if he left the cave he would die. he hated it, and if it was not for his overwhelming urge to escape and be free he would have obeyed.

Bayer stopped, but the moment was broken by the arrival of Sven.
"Everything's up and good to go. Scouts are out watching the road about a thousand yards down, and they're scheduled for replacement every four hours. The men have already started cooking, and I myself was about to return to... 'oversee'."
"Very well," Bayer replied. "One last thing - change the plan slightly. Keep a few watchmen around the camp without fires. Get, say, Loraine. You know what I mean?"
"Yeah. Night-time people. Excellent. I'll see you in... some uncertain period of time." With that, Sven made to exit again.
