((FINALLY!!! I have been trying to get into he forum for the past hour! gaia is being mean to meee.))

when Sakura screamed she woke up. she found herself behind the tavern. her Kimono was blood stained and torn. she had blood all over her. she scanned the area finding Kokou huddled against her. she placed him in her sleeve and got up to find Sakura. she winced as her broken wing shifted. just as she was going to find sakura a ten foot flame ring arose. she couldnt get through for the flames were green. the only type of flame that could cause her harm.

she was inraged at the circle of flame as she pulled a small drawstring bag from her sleeve. she opened it and threw a handfull of the silver dust at the flame. it slowly started to turn black. she threw more and eventually all the flames were black. cautiously she slipped through the flames. she ran as fast as she could to Sakura's room where she found her sleeping

Shifting, she sighed.
~Nightmare~
she was running. From what? well, whatever was growling and roaring after her. she ran, faster. Looking to either side of her, she saw the torn and shredded bodies of....Lan.....Elfir.....Ookami.....Sune-ku...Sheldon...bubby....Saiai! Tears fell hot and thick down her raw cheeks as she ran faster...more...speed. Hearing a voice echo around her, she listened intently.
The light of the mercury lamp that emerges in the night streets
Even if I don't have tears, it still somehow runs down.
Running faster, she caught a glimpse of what was chasing her. It was a females form.
My black shadow that hides in the night streets
Even if I don't have any sympathy, somehow my walking pace is fast.
turning a corner, she sees the massacred bodies again, as the tears fall faster.
On my back there's one more scent of tears

the growls got louder as she felt something rip through her shoulder.

as she came to a stop, at a dead end, her heart sped up, as she turned to face.....herself. It was as if looking through a mirror. Though, that 'her' was darker, shrouded in shadows..no, Made of shadows.
One, two, the shadows combine
And stabs me through the heart
The two shadows that merge together
In the evening of the mercury lamp.
A lamp fueled by mercury appeared above her, before the other kitsune lunged at her...

She sat upright. Breathing harshly, she fell back against the pillow, in a cold sweat. Seeing Ookami, she jumped and cringed away. " Leave, I'll just hurt you again. " She buried her face into a pillow, tears falling both from recalling what had happened the night before, and from the dream.

Outside sitting on the porch Lan looked down at his shattered rifle hoping he could do some repairs. "not sure whats going on here but I don't think I'm in Kansas anymore." smiling as he continued to talk to himself Lan raised his head looking towards the forest area as he lowered his hand to a cup of water beside him. raishing the cup to his lips as he took a small break Lan kept his eyes staring in the forest "Elfir better not be looking for that cursed axe...."

Turning his head looking at Ooka Lan lowered his cup to the side of him as he went back to repairing his rifle "Is everyone okay?" keeping his head lowered giving full attention to his assignment Lan glanced up at her as he waited for her answer.

"I'm fine thanks for asking." After finishing repairing hs weapon Lan raised to his feet checking it over hoping everything was in place. "so whats going on for I heard a scream coming from within the tavern?"
