Carl finished up what he was doing and headed over towards the barrier. Claws pricked lightly over the surface, but hesitated. The last thing he needed was to screw it up. "Break it on your mark, LP? Just say when..."
When what? The latter thought had not spawned from the bird but a casual, and familiar, observer. Donna had arrived a bit early - having missed her son and relented. She now stood at the corner of the property, watching the trio in silence. A smiled played over her features as she waited to be noticed, knowing that LP would most likely discover her first.

LP humed as she looked at the bank after she'd finished making sure the sand was held down with the bits of cement. "hold on, I can't have you in there. I don't know how well birdy and kitty can swim!" She giggled.
Looking around she noticed, "Yo Donna Get over here and help us."
Willow laughed, "So what you're gunna have us yank out the supports and then you're gunna yank us out as fast as you can right?" She smiled at Carl leaning on one of the supports and whispered; "Watch it not fall!"
Of crouse not only was there a bank of drit but LP had fashioned a dam of sorts just behind it so she could shovel out the dirt and it not flow in too fast..... Which was where Willow and Carl was standing right behind, only Willow was using the damn as a resting place.

Donna chuckled and strode over. "I knew that wouldn't take long. How goes it? I hope that you didn't miss me too much..." but it was obvious he had. Carl abandoned his post and rushed to his mom, hugging what he could reach. "MOM! You came early!!! Did you miss me? I only missed you a whole lot..." Macho as he was, the bird's parental favorite was evident - granted she was his only parent. The woman smiled and scooped him up, setting him on her shoulder as she moved to the blocked waterway. She kneeled on the adjacent side from LP. "I'm guessing this is our job, neh? I'd hate to see these two made into a cat fish and hawk billed turtle..."

LP chuckled and shook her head, "You're a nutcase." She snagged Willow up, "Come up here tiger fish." She said kidding as she sat Willow on the ground beside her and tossed a hand held spade to Donna.
"We'll have to dig it out like this, I hope you don't mind a little mud." She started shoveling on herside breaking down the dirt barrier inbetween the two bamboo Damns the ohter one becoming noticable more as they took down the dirt barrier.
Willow watched in Curiousity as they dug using her tail she plucked one of the supports from the back Damn and chuckled.

Donna shook her head and began to dig as well. "If I minded mud, I would be pretty sorry. Gods made dirt. Dirt don't hurt.." Well, unless it went into your eye or an open wound. That wasn't the dirt's fault though. Using her foot, she nudged at the supports as the spade went in deeper.

LP snagged out the ones Willow couldn't reach and in a little under thirty minutes they had the whole damn taken down and the water flowing nicely over the corse of the new river bed and into the pond. "Sooo there we have it. Once she fills up I'll make sure that the waterfall I'll put in later tonight will work and she'll be all finished.
Willow Jumped over to Donna's side and smiled, "HI!! ^-^ Come to take the Fluff ball away?" She asked looking over to Carl using a sickingly sweet tone of her voice.
"Heh oh donna.... they kinda had an accident with a vaccuum cleaner and Carl lost his feathers for a few days >>;;;;"

Donna wasn't sure whether to laugh or be worried. The first bit was easier. She snickered, much to Carl's dismay, but rectified it with a loving nudge to the bird. "Aw, poor thing. He'll live though, I reckon. And yeah...I felt bad after a while so I thought I'd take him off your hands." Carl looked injured before she began again. "I missed him to. The house is too quiet all by myself."

LP giggled and shook her head, "You missed a good bit. Willow's ghosts might've tramatized him a bit but all in all they behaved." She was joking now and smiled.
Willow stuck her tounge out at Carl, "Yeah you missed him injuring me. Stuipd bird brain king." She walked off but before she made it too far she wiggled her bum and turned around to stick her tounge out again and waggle her fingers at him.
Skittering off. "I've got somewhere to be I'm late!"
LP sighed and watched Willow run off. "Hehe Honestly I was glad to have Carl around a bit. I think he's more like a little brother to her than her own Twin..... Which is Sad but I'm glad Carl can fill a bit of a void. I've never seen her do that." She took a finger and rubbed Carl's feathers backwards on top of his head to make a Moehawk.
"So Shall I walk you back to the Main road?"

Carl fluffed a bit. Whether it was embarrassment or pleasure, he didn't say - he was smiling though. Donna caught it but said nothing about that, instead nodding. "Yeah, if you would. I'm glad things turned out this week...It looks like all of you had a good time." She turned then and began towards the road, waiting for LP as she reached the border. "We'll have to do this again, perhaps once more upon a kingdom?" Either way, the week was done. There would be many memories from this soul searching segment.
