Utakan Cartoons quote pop culture and stuff like that all the time. Especially the older cartoons, they're chocked full of quotes from popular books from back in the day and do tons of parodies on literature. I know that, but the cartoons are fairly new. As for that other post about Michael Crawford: I probably would have been like "Psh, nobody is him but him!" Type thingy... My friend, Vivi, and I were talking about if we could switch bodies. V: Yeah, but then you'd die from hating POTO. Me: And you'd self destruct from liking it. V: Yeah, let's not do that.. Me: Unless we want to be dead in each other's bodies. Iono, but I find it funny. And it IS Phantom related. On another note, a friend of mine knows a person named Erik. Apparently Erik started calling him Tito at some point. Iono. But still, Erik is in my school! Phantom of the Auditorium? Naah, he's a year younger than me and he doesn't sing at all...

I found a book at the library today called The Fandom of the Operator. iT didn't have anything to do with POTO, just the name was similar.

Ok, this isn't directly Phantom related, but it kinda is...does that make sense?
This episode of Pokemon today was like this:
This boy had a costume of a Pokemon. When he wore it to battle, he called himself "The Phantom." He had a mask, hat, cloak, and a...bow tie???
Anyway, I was just thinking "Wow...who writes these episodes? They must be Phans...or something.."

The Japanese make tons of pop culture references in anime and manga. But a lot of episodes you don't see in America. Like the Pokemon episode where James gets a sex change so that he can compete in a competition for food.

Or the millions of DBZ episodes where Goku was drunk and running around naked. rolleyes
There was a Japanese Dating Sim-like game I saw a while back that had a character dressed as the Phantom, but it was a girl. Well, you couldn't tell, but the character description said the character was a female assassin. O_o Thought that was kinda funny.

Well, in the Japanese version of ALW's adaption, Erik is played by a woman.

There's two versions in Japan, and I do not think the all-female cast one is Webber's.

New refrence!!!
Ok, so we were playing this song in band, "Year of the Dragon". Ms. Naumann just randomly stops conducting and says, "Hey, this has a Dies Irae in it. Anyone heard of it before?" I was the only one who had.
Turns out she's a Phan too! She got to see it on Broadway...lucky...
BUT she's gonna listen to the OLC tomorrow, so...yeah...
My favourite teacher and I have the same fav musical!

Oh, yes!
Now I remember.
My copy of 'le fantome' has the Lon Chaney!Erik on it! Here's something you didn't know, it was printed in 1989. Maybe that's why it's sorta yellowed and such...
Ha, Colin was talking about Law and Order, and said, "Oh, remember the D.A..." or something, and I corrected him under my breath, "It's Daae, you imbecile." I had forgotten what he was talking about.
I hear Phantom relations more than I breathe...
