Crap! Kei bit her lip against the sudden chill that wafted about her. She'd noticed the crystals - ice crystals - forming around her blade, and knew that if she didn't act soon, she'd be encased in ice. That was something she didn't want.
"Nice..." she muttered, eyes searching the dish for escape routes. Finally she spotted one, but it would be a risky undertaking...
When the mist, and then the ice crystals appeared, Kai blanched momentarily. Miki controls... ice? Like Ivanov? Once more, unexpected, but a welcome asset in any blader - where would the challenge be, then?
The crimson-eyed teen noticed that Kei looked like she was having trouble, and was puzzled. She'd had no qualms going against him before, and definitely didn't hesitate with Diana - that must mean that she was a pretty decent blader although by definition she was a rookie.
He looked at Miki and grinned, although briefly, at her. Glad to see you've learned a trick or two, Miki... Then he was back to watching the dish and the two blades within. As for you,Hiyomura...pull it together...
"Let's go..." Kei muttered to herself, urging her blade upward the south slope - the side nearest to where she was standing. Thankfully, the ice that had formed there was still relatively fragile, and so she broke through it without losing much spin or energy. It felt weird battling someone who controlled ice; Kei herself could control fire. It seemed to her like some sort of 'Kai versus Yuriy' thing, only both competitors were female and neither were redheads.
She stopped her blade around halfway up the slope, and then it went into a downward spiral. She was tempted to go into bit beast form so as to utilize her flame abilities, but thought it would be better if she did so later on in the battle, were she given the chance. The energy she'd gathered and conserved earlier would have to come into play now...

Miki continue her icey mist and it soon clouded the stadium. She noticed Kei slipped her ice prison. Instead of getting worried, she just smiled. She didnt care if she managed to slip or not nor was She planning for Kei to slip on the ice. It was much more. She closed her eyes and started to concentrate. Her blade grew an icey color almost brightening. Then it appeared to have a blue sphere around the blade. She then opened her eyes slowly. But..it appeared...to have a blue color. She then commanded inside her mind "ATTACK!" and her blue blade charged with a powerful force. It soon collided with Kei's blade and continued attacking, trying to make it back away.

Kei grit her teeth and stood her ground; she wouldn't allow herself to be beaten so easily. She allowed her blade to be pushed back by Miki's attacks, careful always to stay within the stadium; the amethyst-eyed teen knew that resisting attacks often resulted in a worn-out blade, and she didn't want to run out of energy before she'd begun her actual attack.
Wait... Kei frowned slightly, gazing intensely at the two battling blades. Miki's attacks... there's...
A pattern! Kai detected the rhythmic collisions between Miki's blade and Kei's. He hoped his twin wasn't fool enough to keep attacking with regularity; she'd become predictable, and then she'd be at a disadvantage.
Unbeknownst to Kai, his trainee was thinking along similar terms. What if this is just a trick? she thought, even as she began melting the particles of ice she came across and evaporating the resulting water - great, more steam - so that she could get a good grip surface. Just what are you planning, Miki...?

Miki just gave a giggle. She wondered if both her brother and opponent already knew what was happening. She continue to attack, not really caring if they thought she was wasting any energy. It was all part of her strategy. Her icey blue blade continue ramming itself against the darker blue blade. But what Kei doesnt noticed..was the faint red aura coming out of her blade...and getting sucked inside Miki's blade...

What was happening now? Kai couldn't really tell, what with the mist from the ice forming. What he could see, though, was that Miki's blade was surrounded by a blue glow - her bit beast? Again, the crimson-eyed blader couldn't be sure.
What on earth is -
...going on here?! Kei thought, taking deep breaths to calm herself. She tried evading Miki's most recent attack, but found that her blade was sluggish, like it had lost too much energy to respond quickly.
Quickly, the brunette racked her brains for possible reasons, and even more, possible actions she could take. Then she glanced at the stadium again and noticed the aura surrounding Miki's blade... and the red mist being sucked from her own. It hit then: every hit that she took from her opponent drained her of energy, whether she did anything or not.
Baka na, Hiyomura! she yelled at herself, feeling foolish for having done nothing to safeguard against that sort of tactic. But now that she knew...
Kei closed her eyes for a second, chanelling just a bit of herself into her blade - just enough to get it moving quickly again. That was another thing that was handy about being her own bit beast: she could control just how much of her own energy went into the blade and consequently into her attacks.
Kai noticed this, and was intrigued. What's Hiyomura doing now? he thought, wondering vaguely if he'd see this sacred soul bearer in action, from a closer vantage point. He shifted his gaze from Kei back to Miki. And saw that she was grinning. Had they become so alike that they wore similar expressions in battle now? That was an interesting thought...
All at once, Kei's eyes shot open, a darker shade of purple now, alive with the fire that she knew burned within. Her face was a complete blank now, as it was the feeling part of her - the strongest, she felt - that she'd released in a semi-bit beast form. She wouldn't reveal it, not yet.
"Ikke," she gave the command, her voice quiet, and at once, cleaving to Kei's will and its own, the blade moved, shooting past Miki's and up the opposite side. Kei was seeing the stadium from two different viewpoints now: as a blader, and as a bit beast. A strange feeling to be sure, but it didn't faze her. If anything, it would help with her accuracy and precision when attacking and defending.
She stayed there, half-perched on the slope closest to Miki this time, watching the other, paler blue blade, ready to move if it got too close.

Miki blinked and saw that Kei finally caught up with her dome. She gave a sigh of surrender and just gave another smile. "I see you noticed what i was doing Kei-san. Your eyes sure are sharp" She complimented and smiled. But then she returned back to her serious expression "But i guess if i can settle for close-range then i will switch to long-distance". The moment she finished those words, the icey mist shot almost instantly and was now growing en masse. It was like a mini snow storm. Miki's blade retreated a good distance and then something was forming out of the mist. It looked like...needles...But..Longer!
Needles of Ice! Miki was already switching to offence. If she cant absorb closely then she will do from a distance. Numerous needles continue to form. Until then, they all pointed at one specific target..Kei's blade. Miki raised her head a bit, showing a smile but it almost looked like a smirk. "This is one of my usual attacks, Sharded Blizzard!". At the signal, all needles attacked, darting at the blade. They continue to form from the mist, and the mist continue to SURROUND the stadium.

Keiji went back to his body and picked up his blade. "Guess you caught me off guard Maria, but your still off the champion. I think if you battled Max Mizuhara he wouldn't budge with his incredible defense." Keiji said.
"Well that's what is this room for? Also if I don't improve you take him we'll see if he can handle your poison" Maria answered knowing her own weakness.
"So do you want them all, some or none of the scars. This was just a practice match "Maria then asked.
"Just one . We haven't battled in a long time."Keiji answered and healed it used to it every time they were after they were on a mission.
She then went to a strength machine where she would push the target like a punching machine.

Kai arched one eyebrow up, questioning. He was really interested in his sister's bit beast now. He didn't have to keep watching her blade, really; her last action had confirmed for him that she had, indeed, improved quite a lot. He'd have to make some changes to the obstacle course for her later...
"Good tactic change, and good speed, Miki," he commented, switching his attention back to the stadium soon after, focusing more on how Kei was reacting to this turn of events. Kai could also see that his twin and her bit beast had refined control over its abilities - compared to Ivanov's, Miki's ice attacks were well-defined and well-aimed; the redhead's were usually all over the place and easy to get through.
Well, Hiyomura? How do you deal with this one?
Kei didn't flinch, not even when the the ice needles started shooting towards her blade; she managed to dodge most of them, but some did connect, showing as tiny scratches on her arms. The brunette shrugged them off, concentrating, as she was wont to do, on the battle rather than herself. Did she -? ...yes, she knew; she had enough energy to defend and, later on, counterattack; after all, she hadn't used it all up, not yet.
Calmly, she stared at her blade, the center of which had begun to glow a deep red. Then, suddenly, just as the blue light encased Miki's blade earlier, now a crimson light enveloped her own. Slowly, the outer reaches of the aura began leaping up and out, becoming small tongues of fire as they did so.
And Hiyomura controls fire... Once more, Kai smirked. Fire against ice posed a bit of a problem, as he well knew. With enough heat, one could melt ice and evaporate the resulting water, but ice also had a way of rendering one's flame attacks null. The battle could go either way...

Noticing some needles managed to embedded themselves at her opponent's blade, she smiled brightly. At least there was some that managed to get through. She got worried for that moment sicne she didnt know if she can aim right. Then she revealed the secret to her Blizzard. The needles that managed to be inside the blade started to glow an icey blue color and the same red aura started to come out and transfer itself to Miki's blade.
Another absorption was taking place yet again. Miki smiled and looked at Kei. "I hope Kei-san notices what is the hidden secret about my attacks. I dont want to injure her too badly. Miki was concentrated with her battle, yes. But she is also worried for Kei was her friend.

There it is again... Kai noticed the now-familiar aura transference - if there even was such a term - taking place between Kei's and Miki's Beyblades. What is Miki doing, anyway? He wanted to know just what happened when one saw that happening.
He saw Kei out of the corner of his eye, still not moving. ...the hell-? What was this girl up to?
Kei blinked, surprised to see that not all the ice needles she hadn't dodged had merely grazed past; some were still stuck there... and apparently allowing that energy drain thing to happen again.
Guess again, Miki... she thought. She closed her eyes for a few moments, and when she'd opened them again, gone were the purple orbs that looked out at the world; in their place were two fire-red irises, shining with a secret light. At the same time, a deep red light enveloped her blade, just as a pale blue one had surrounded Miki's earlier. Certain sections of this aura leapt into the air, licking out at the surroundings, turning into tongues of fire as they went.
One by one, the needles melted off, halting the transfer for the moment at least - or so Kei hoped. Perhaps the time had come to reveal one of her attacks? Just to even the score with Miki, who had already shown one of her own. Yes, she decided; she would use that one... Kitsune-bi...
The dark blue blade with its fire barrier shot down the slope and began circling Miki's blade, faster at first, and then gradually slowing down until it had returned to its initial speed. Instead of one blade, however, there stood six dark blue ones, all with the same appearance as Kei's blade. Each one moved independently of the others, never disappearing from sight for even the shortest moment.
It was Kai's turn to be surprised when he saw what had happened. A modified 'Phantom Storm'? he thought, remembering Takao's first attack back when they'd first become a team. But no, that was different; Dragoon had been moving too fast to be seen and would disappear from time to time, creating the illusion that it had created copies of itself. This one... no, it didn't quite fit the criteria.
So what was it?
Suddenly...the semi-metallic sound of two Beyblades crashing, and Miki's blade was sent backwards a bit. Another of Kei's blades moved in, and dark blue collided with ice blue, and then once more. There were six blades total, including Kei's original - which was somewhere in the mix - but three of them stayed well back in a shallow 'V' formation; the other three that had already attacked, were higher up in the stadium, circling in opposite directions, like vultures stalking for a meal.
"Koi... come, Miki-san..." Kei said, a small grin on her face, fiery orbs dancing. "Shall we finish this?"

Miki was astonished as her blade was backed away by two dark blue blades. Now this was getting interesting. She already had enough energy she took from Kei. So there was enough to do...that attack. Blinking as Kei announced her question, she closed her eyes that was combined with a smirk, then finally shot them opened revealing her once crimson orbs into icey blue ones. She whispered her reply "Hai, Kei-san".
Miki stood her ground, now she has to use her final attack. Gathering up all the energy she managed to store. Her eyes were still open but they managed to change into a bright red color. Her blade was now glowing red. Coated with light but after that...it bursted into flames. But the thing is, the fire was blue. The blue blade's colors was almost blending in to the bluish white flames of the fire. But while the beyblade was still standing...Miki was staggering for the moment. Since this was her final attack, it takes alot of her energy.
She fought to keep herself up but inside she was panting already. Inside her mind, she commanded her beyblade to finally to reveal herself. Out of the blade came out Drizzard, an icey blue phoenix covered with ice crytals and a crystal was on it's forehead. But as she came out, the crytals transformed into blue flames. Drizzard looked at her mistress who in turn gave a nod of command and knew what to do. With a swoop of her wing, she made all the six other blades back away. Revealing only one. Miki smiled at Kei and replied in a rather tired voice "Hope you like my bitbeast, now we can end this".
Miki charged her fiery blade to Kei's. Drizzard was also charging, but as the phoenix flew, the water froze once more, forming icey towers. As soon as they both collided, Miki was already showing lack of energy. She just hope her last attack was enough to send Kei to cease spinning or at least out of the dish.

Would the surprises never end? Kai wanted to know. First, there was the fact that he controlled fire and his sister controlled ice. Then, there was that whole energy or aura transfer bit, and now Miki was showing him that she had an ice phoenix under her control?
Very interesting... the slate-haired blader thought, even though he had to admit he was worried about Miki, who seemed to be tiring quite quickly. Kei, however, was still on her feet - relatively. But that was probably because she wasn't doing anything.
What the hell, Hiyomura...?
Kei merely returned the smirk, moving into a semi-crouched position. She was going to give it her all - within reason, of course - even though this was just a practice match. Now that Miki had shown her bit beast, the amethyst-eyed blader thought it only fair that she reveal her bit beast form, if only partially.
At the moment of impact, as the sound of collision rang out through the training room, Kei shut her eyes tight in concentration, the same red aura that had encased her blade now encasing her. Slowly, the pulsing red light gathered close into a single beam that jetted out towards Kei's blade, centering itself just above the bit chip. Then, in a twinkling, it expanded, its form slowly morphing, until finally, against the flaming red, there it was: a fairly large yet sleek-bodied fox, its seven tails twitching lazily even as it met the ice phoenix head-on.
Kei, meanwhile, was still in her crouched position, though her stance wasn't as rigid as before, and her eyes, should anyone chance to see them, had lost their light. Kei was, of course, now in her bit beast form - sans two of her tails which were actually the parts of her soul she left in her body to keep it from completely keeling over - and had gone into the crouching position both to put up a bit more of a defense and, again, to stop herself from falling over.
So Hiyomura's bit beast form is a fox... Kai noted; he'd already known she was a sacred soul bearer, but this was the first time he'd seen one with a full animal form - in fact, Kei was the only one he'd seen so far. And, as impressive a transformation as it was, the battle still seemed... one-sided to him. This was a seven-tailed fox going against an ice phoenix two to three heads taller than it - she? - was. The crimson-eyed teen noticed, too, the looks of determination in Miki's and in the trainee's faces; he had only to look at their eyes...
Then a half-whine, then a low growl sounded from the vulpine form within the stadium, causing Kai to look there. What had he missed?
Kei struggled against the phoenix of ice, but the cold was getting to her. No! she thought, giving a low growl as she pushed ever forwards, seeking to send her opponent back. I can't lose! Not yet! She raised the temparature around her, then brought forth her second attack - she had no name for it as yet, but found that it was easy to perform under any given circumstance and so had come to rely on it.
Her tails whipped about, one after the other, and with each pass, she left behind a trail of fire. It was her fire shield revisited, done to a greated extent and intensity. Every once in a while, though, one of the tails would not just pass over her in a protective barrier, but fling out a sizeable fireball or two towards her icy opponent. Again, she was seeking to drive it back, not hurt it. A tie... yes, she would settle for a tie, if nothing else...

Miki was already showing even more worrying signs of exhaustion as Drizzard battled with Kei's Nine-tailed fox. Balls of fire started to come over the ice phoenix, she commanded Drizzard to use her special move. Drizzard looked back at her mistress with great hesitation and concern. But now Miki didnt care, she will use it no matter what. With understanding, the phoenix stood her guard as the balls of fire was coming straight towards her.
As it touched her, she..managed to dissolve it completely and the balls were gone. Drizzard took the red mass inside and she transformed from icey blue to firey red. Miki, who was apparently panting and sweating, called out in a almost hoarse voice "Return!". The phoenix obeyed and flapped her wings. 2 giant balls of fire returned to the Fox and collided. Miki, who aparrently now couldnt take her recent attack, finally fell to the arms of darkness and fell to the ground.

"Miki!"
Quickly, Kai made his way over to his sister and caught her before she could hit the floor. The outcome of the battle was no longer important to him; Miki's condition was.
He knelt, the younger girl cradled in his arms as he did so. It was pure exhaustion, he could tell, but that didn't stop him from worrying.
Two fireballs came flying back towards her, even as the ice phoenix turned fiery red, and then returned to its blade. Kei, a bit more exhausted than she'd anticipated, managed to dodge the first fireball, but failed to evade the second. She let out a yelp of surprise - she wasn't hurt; it was her element, after all. Nonetheless, it was enough to knock her - and her blade - backwards.
In a last-ditch attempt, Kei rebounded off the rear slope and lunged towards the now-fiery phoenix, head lowered for a head-butt. They collided and, because of the force she'd put behind her attack, Kei got knocked backwards once more, but was a bit satisfied to see the other blue blade flying out of the dish as well.
A jolt, and she came into herself once more, just as her blade clattered, powerless, beside her. Another clatter at the opposite end of the dish made her look up to see Miki's blade out of the dish as well... and Miki was in Kai's arms, her eyes closed.
Kei stumbled to her feet - she was still quite weak from using as much energy as she did - and hurried over to the twins, for the moment disregarding her blade. She'd never forgive herself if she was the cause of Miki's fall into unconsciousness...
The slightly metallic sound of a Beyblade landing out of the stadium was of little consequence to Kai; he took no notice of it. The patter of fumbling footsteps, however, got his attention, and he glanced up, briefly, to see Kei hurrying over and kneeling at Miki's other side. Following the amethyst-eyed girl's gaze, he turned his attention back to his sister; she still hadn't woken up.
"Miki..."

((OOC://For some strange reason, Kana-chan got banned again. I have no idea if she has any plans to create yet another new account, but in the meantime, she asked me to post her reply for her... so here it is.))
Diana got alarmed but she knew Kai can take care of her. She didn’t want to break her promise to him, so she stayed put on top of the roof.
------------------------------
Miki’s eyes fluttered open and saw blurry images. When they cleared, her brother and Kei were standing there, looking worried. She looked at the stadium and sadly frowned that she lost. She turned to her brother and smiled “Hi onii-chan, I guess I still need training. I didn’t win. Gomene” she replied in a whisper but frothy voice. She turned to Kei and gave a grateful smile “Thank you for the battle Kei-san. You were a great opponent”. Miki sat up a bit but stumbled a little and held her head. She was still tired from the attack she unleashed.
