Kekkaishi smiled, he had sensed her sending her chackra around, that could only mean that somewhere in heaven someone was fighting. he couldn't go to the chunnin exams and he knew she probably stayed behind for him.
" hey since you seem to whant to fight why dont we fight?"
he smiled to himself as he hid the scroll he had just read he knew that the jutsu would take a while to learn but he also knew that in a fight he would be able to further increase his skills

She looked at him from the very corners of her eyes since she had turned her back on him. She saw he was trying to hide something from her, which slightly annoyed her since he of all people knew her hatred of secrets being kept from her. She used to put him in head locks and bite the top of his head until he told her what she wanted to know. It must've been pretty important if he didn't want her to see it. She smirked. 'I see how it is. Fine. I'll beat what ever it is you're hiding from me out of you.' "Fine. Bring it on Kaishi." She took the jacket off and slipped the long sleeved shirt off so she was in her shorts and the netted top that had been under the first shirt. She slipped her jacket back on, deciding she needed it after all. Hidden in one of the secret pockets in the seeve of her jacket was a scroll of her own that taught a good attack that might help with her new jutsu she invented.

Kekkaishi smiled as he ranout of the house. let me see if i remember what it said. first i have to hurt her tough. dang it this might be a hard thing for me to do. how the hell do i get to her? he finnaly stoped when he was in his estates training ground. he held his kusario-gama close as he listen to everything around him. he relaxed his muscles letting the scroll simingly dangle in his hand. come on attack me attack me Kykyo

Kikyo moved in a way that made almost as much noise as a breeze going through the village. She thought through on what the scroll said. She saw where he was headed and grinned. In the training ground was water. Perfect. This could help out quit a bit. She got in a good position out of the way and hidden and began to work up the chakara required for the jutsu. 'I can't use too much or I won't have enough for my jutsu. And it's not like I want to kill him, so I gotta be careful not to drown him. Besides, the butler will kill me if I flood the house...' She shuttered at the thought of what that butler would do to her. She and him just did not get along when it came to some of the little things, and she wasn't in the mood to get hit or lectured by the old coot.

Kekkaishi smiled as he threw three kunai t wear she was, no matter how little he knew of the ninja world he knew the training ground enough to now when a breeze was not a breeze. thank you butler for beating me up so much. wow i never tought that i would thank him for being so rough on me. he tought as he ran away front he water and towards the forest. if she whent there then it might mean that she knows how to use a water based jutsu. no mater in this forest i have the upper hand i should be able to confuse her while in here.

Kikyo ducked down even farther and dodged the kunai. She scowled in annoyance, seeing him head towards the forest. 'Fine. Not like I don't have a plan already.' She got out of her hiding place and went to the water. She put her sleeve through the water quickly the way you would with a bucket. She smiled when she saw that none of the water spilled or made any sign of spilling. She then ran towards the forest while doing the hand signs she needed to do in the secretcy of her jacket so if he saw the movements in her jacket at least he wouldn't know what she was doing.

kekkaishi smiled to himself as he got out of the water and picked up the kunai he had thrown at her.kekkaishi could not belive that his plan work the forest had man shortcuts that he had made in them long ago. i guess its good that i never told her about all of my shortcuts. so she really whants to use that jutsu on me. he silently climbed up a tree til he was in the canapy of the forest. he looked down and saw her. a smile slowly crept on his face. as he fallowed her fromt eh top of the trees. i guess i can use substitution later on. hmm but what exactly shoudl i do after that? hmmm substitution and fire blast... damn i dotn haqve to many jutsu's to learn but it seems that she knows that one. of course she would her family is the one that developed it

Kikyo smirked under her mask. She had noticed a faint shadow following her from above. This reminded her of the days when they were little and play games like hide-and-seek. He'd always been the type who would hide in plain sight or right under some one's nose. Even now he was no different. Although, that didn't stop the fact that she hated being in this forest. She hated being in this forest, and knew it'd be hard to get him, unless she did it in a specail way. She finished the hand signs, confident she'd figured the jutsu out. She put her arms so her left was facing the ground at an angle and the right hand was towards the sky at an angle. She put one foot forward and made herself croutch low and spun quickly as she activated the jutsu. "Hydro flood jutsu!" Water came from her hands a a fast pace and made it almost impossible to escape the hard water the way she was spinning.

kekkaishi smiled as he saw all f her motions. Kikyo had fallen for his strategy, Kekkaishi purposefully brought her to the forest knowing that she would still try to use the hydro flood jutsu. in the forest there were the tree things he need fresh oxygen, trees to climb, and the fuel needed for the jutsu he was about to do. Kekkaishi smiled as he saw how she did the jutsu. he would expect no less from her. but he had become stronger he had become smarter and in order to do what he needed he had maticusly planned ahead and so far she fell into his trap. he finshed his hand sing.

he quietly said to himself."fire blast jutsu" and breathed out fire. the conditions where perfect at this time in the day the wind was blowing on his back so as he breathed the fire the wind propelled it farther also along the way the branches of the trees cought on fire allowing the fire to spread. as soon as the fire hit the water kekaishi knew he put the right amount of chackra into it the water was hot enough to make steam the steam was helping to cut of her vision as was the smoke from the fire. he stoped and felt some of the water hit him. he fell from the tree and used his kusari-gama to land on the floor. he lay low and made handsings."Bushin No Jutsu" he made four clones making them run around in a circle hoping that the smoke would be able to cover there positions they all talked at the same time." oh Kikyo is this how the woman that told me to get stronger acts? have you forgoten that you never once cought me while we where in this forest?"

She smiled. At the time the fog had gone up, she had put on a shocked and some what scared look in her eyes, but now that the mist made it hard for her to see, she was sure he couldn't see he face. The way her eyes looked would surely show how she was about to burst into a fit of laughter. This is what she had wanted to happen. He was too confident in the forest because he knew it much better than she did, but at times it seemed she knew him beter than he did. She knew he would make a mist from her hydro flood, and she was glad he had.

She tugged on the chain around her neck and opened the scroll that was connected to it. She had some difficulty reading it with all the thick fog, but not enough to keep her from reading it. It was about a specail ability to see through any one element at a time. She already knew which one she had in mind. As she read, she allowed some of the mist to condense on her arm and start solidifying. She balled her hand into a tight fist and it was soon covered in a hard, thick casing of ice. The mist would keep the sun away and make it hard for him to see the Adament Fist attack until she felt like leaving the forest.

She chuckled under her breathe as she closed the scroll and tucked it back under the secretcy of her jacket. "Alright Kaishi, so you think you're all that? Fine. Prove me wrong. Bring it on. If you think you have the guts to. Go ahead, make my day, if you can." She laughed a little and waited for him to make his first move.

Kekkaishi threw his kusari-gama wieght first at her while his clones threw kunais. kekkaishi smiled as he saw the scroll, tough she did kenw him she forgot that he was always able to sneak up on her. Kekkaishi had no idea wich justu she would try to do on him. The only thing he knew was that since the fog and smoke was increasing he needed to think and act accordignly. he had one of his clones go away from them and prepare some things, among them to spread the forest fire.

no matter what Kekkaishi could always smell the scent of kykyo the air, after spending a lot of time fghting and beign under her he learned to notice her usign only her smeel. he closed his eyes letting his chackra go trough his kusari-gama he hoped she would get hit by the wieght. the kunais whee meant to distract or hurt her wich ever they did. but he also knew that he did not have to much chackra he knew that he had to be carefull." yoru scent hasnt changed since we used to take showers together"

Kikyo closed her eyes and listened in on the on comming weapons. She easily guessed which ones he had used. She jumped into the air and made herself flip so she would miss the weight all together. She then flicked her wrist and sling a peice of trip wire with kunia attached to it around, knocking every single kunia into the ground. She started to think of how she could use the elemental jutsu and which eye she would have to close in order to use the jutsu.

She had a feeling that the kunai where just a distraction. Just in case, she didn't want to stay in the spot just so she wouldn't have to worry about the kunai being rigged with paper bombs. She quickly moved to a new area just far enough to avoid any explosions if there were any. When he mentioned her scent, she smiled a little. "If you must know, that isn't completely my scent you smell. Most of it's masked by that perfume that I make myself. My 'Lucky Number 7.' If I wanted to, I could bring out several other scents to cover mine and make it harder for you to find me that way. After all, I always carry my perfumes."

he smiled his plan had worked she was never able to notice him completetly so giving his wepons to his to his clones was a good plan. he grabed her from behind he held her nose focusign his chackra on that spot he felt his chackra begin to convert to light as it left his hand. he felt her burn mark beign healed. he smiled and jumped away from her." have you forgoten that i remember hwo you smell without any perfume. liek i siad i used to take showers wiht you i perer yoru natural smell."

She rubbed her nose with her left hand, surprised that he had used a healing technique instead of hitting her or putting any weapons to her throat when he had the chance. "... I guess you really have grown up and matured while we were seperated. Your not the same snot-nosed punk that take advantage of an oppurtunity like you used to be...." She looked over her shoulder at him with a serious and kind face for a minute before smirking. "But who's to say that I didn't pick up on that trait."

She spun around quickly and launched a punch to his stomach. She her fist moved, the sleeve to her jacket pulled back some to reveal her entire arm being enclosed in a solid object. What little light that could penetrait the fog bounced off of the material like a thousand shards a diamond. She smirk grew as she got closer to him. Wether she hit him or not didn't matter. Just so long as he tried to duck it and go back into the mist. She wasn't in the mood to win yet. Not when she was so close to finnally learning the elemental vision. After all, if he could learn light cross, then she needed something at least as semi-powerful as his new ability.

he smiled as he let her fist conect as he epected the weights lesen the blow enough for him to use her punch as momentum for a backhand slap. he alrady knew that she was close to learnign a technique he would have to try and stop her from learning it at all cost. nowign her family branch he never knew what she would pull out if she can do hydro flood she might be able to do one of the more dangerus ones.
