Jami smiled slightly. "Just relax. I've been doing this for years. Almost missed it, actually." He set to work on the fire, and in ten minutes, had a blaze going. He then sharpened a few sticks, and disappeared into the brush. Half an hour later he had four large avians impled on the sticks. He plucked and dressed them, and set them over the fire to roast on a small spit.

"oh..." She sat down gazing into the flames, thinking about those 'pirates'. She felt into her bag and took out a small device which she lay on the ground. It beamed out a small replica of the galaxy, she observed it intently as Jami had left.

Jami reached into a belt pouch and added a dusting of powdered herbs and spices to the birds, frowning. "Say, if I did become a Jedi... would you be interested in taking me on as your apprentice?"

ElladanKenet Norras RoonPeren push the right button to jam there signal then he use a pulsating sensor, slower to give information around them but at least it was harder to found the signal. Two minutes later, he received the data of there surroundings. There was no one around them until a mile from the pirate base. Peren tought that it would take at least 5 days for representative of the Sullust gouvernement, surely soldiers, to come here. He also know that they had took prisonnier with them on there last attack. They had to go release them. Eldin, the surroundings are secure up to a mile from there base. I forgot to tell you that they have took prisonniers with them on there last attack. We must go release them because Sullust won`t be here before 5 days. Plenty of time for the pirates to send them away in slavery, or to kill them. Eldin nodded. "Standard rescue-op equiptment, or do we bring recconaisance gear as well?"Peren opened the copit and jump out of the starfighter. Take the recon gear, we might need it. While we will walk, we hould be careful to not be seen by the sensors.

tarsoin Space over Coruscant Tarsoin edged to a stop from his warp speed, his ship smoking and sputtering. He looked back at his torn wing and shook his head as he discovered only a half of a engine that was causing a whole bunch of smoke and every now and then a spark. Tarsoin shut down his ship, leaving only emergency power and life support going. Pushing down a red button on his communcations panel, he began to send out a distress signal. He wanted another ship to come and take him to the planet so he could contiune his mission...

She glanced up from the hologram, "I usually wouldn't..." She half mumbled to him. looking back at the hologram once more.

She turned off the hologram and stored it in the inside pocket of her robes "Are you really considering?" She asked somewhat accusing.

"No. Nothing is wrong." she looked at him seriously, "When we find your friend, If we find your friend, and get back to the temple and make your decision, maybe I might change my mind." She had a harder look.

Jami nodded slightly to her. "All right, then. Would it be all right if I carried a lightsaber, just for show if nothing else? I can use my grandfather's, since it hasn't worked since it was dropped."

She sighed "It isn't like it could really hurt..." She shrugged sitting more relaxed. She let a new silence settle, with her thoughts moving like clockwork in her mind.

Jami nodded and handed her two of the birds. He ate his own quietly, keeping an eye out for nocturnal predators.

She ate slowly, still with that hard look in her eyes. When she had finished she lay back on the grass looking up at the sky. ((bleh...short post))

Jami stood and walked to a short tree. He snapped one of the branches off and, peeling back the bark, chewed on the pulp of the branch. When the cinnamon-sugar flavor was gone, he curled up and closed his eyes.
