Skyeheart nodded. He had done enough here. He needed to follow Ziven anyways. Most likely she would ditch Ali on her own, but she may need help.
He turned and walked off without a word.

zing walked up to the lake with a fishing pole,a bucket,and all the other essentials for fishing.finding a rock that went out over the water he sat on the edge and cast his line,patiently ,he waited.

A small ten year old Kari runs about the edge of the lake, a pair of skates bouncing on her back.
Her hair wasn't straight and long as it was in the present but rather short, falling just at her shoulders. It was lighter too, almost brown much like her eyes. Their usual amber colour was now a much deeper brown.
The ends of her hair curved gently, framing her face perfectly. Two small pigtails bobbed at the top of her head, the rest of her hair was down, it fluttered behind her. She wore a long pink coat with fur lining, her feet hidden by the huge piles of snow.
She sunk into the snow right up to her knees, her pale white stockings soaked right through but she didn't seem to mind at all. Instead she bounded forward as fast as one at her size could go, making long twisting tracks in the snow.
"Hurry nee-chan!" She called as she glanced over her shoulder, using the childish word for older sister.
A taller older girl walked slowly, quite far behind. Her tall high heeled boots which reached her knees, kept her well out of the snow as she walked in the tracks of her younger sister. Her hair even shorter, layered just to cover her neck. It was so dark that it could have been blue when the sun reflected off of it.
She smiled softly, her gray eyes gentle and careful. She waved her sister ahead as she walked through the snow. She wore a long, dark, shimmering cloak that billowed behind her. Under that one could see equally dark clothing. Tight black pants adorned with belts and a warm looking sweater.
"Find a good spot." she called, her voice strong but kind. The type of voice you would find in a fighter. She carried her own pair of skates that looked as though they were a bit old.

"Okaaay!" she called loudly, stopping to wave both hands in the air. Running forward again she found a rather large rock and threw it onto the ice. The ice held firm, which made little Kari flush with glee.
Moving forward she tentitively tested the ice with one foot. It still didn't give. With a large smile she waved her arms again to the figure in the distance that would be her sister.
"Nee-chan! I think I found one!"
She nodded and walked a little faster knowing her sister would probably get impatient and bound onto the ice. If it broke that would be a problem.
"Just wait for me okay?" She shouted making sure she saw Kari nod.
Reaching the ice she placed a hand on the ice closing her eyes. She could feel how thick the ice was just by doing that, a power she had inherited from her mother, among many others.
"Alright... I think this is good." she said to a bouncing Kari as she bent down to tie her skates.

"I'm going now!" She called out and hurried onto the ice. Slipping and sliding a bit before catching the rhythm and began to skate in small figure eights.
She giggled and spread her arms out, trying to imitate the figure skaters she had seen the other day.
"Just be careful." she said with a small sigh. Her sister was so impatient. She sat for a while watching her sister, a small smile on her face that was now flushed with cold.
Bending over to tie up her skates she took her eyes off little Kari for only a moment when she heard a rather loud crack, splash, and a cry of alarm. Bolting up from her spot Angel screamed.
"Kari!!!!"
Angel pulled her boots back on and ran out onto the ice, reaching the place where Kari had fallen in she carefully inched forward, sending her power through the ice to harden it as she lifted her shivering sister from the water.
Taking off her cloak she removed Kari's wet clothes and wrapped her up tightly in her cloak.
"Kari are you okay?? I-I'm so sorry!" she stuttered thinking a million things she could have done differently. If only she had made sure, if only she had hardened the ice like her mother had shown her.
She hurried away back to the house to get her sister warmed up.

The figures melted away and the present Kari stood there on the lake's edge gazing at the ice covered surface. Flurries of the rest of the memory came forming itself in front of her on the ice.
Her brother was yelling at Angel who was just around 19, his bright blond hair and shocking blue eyes flashing over the ice surface.
"I knew you couldn't look after her yourself! You idiot what if dad finds out? He'll be so angry with you!"
The scene melted away again to another man, this time with flaming red hair, sea green eyes and freckles. He smiled down at Kari as he checked her temperature. Angel came back into the room looking down a the floor, her eyes a little red from tears. The man with red hair hugged Angel and patted her head telling her it wasn't her fault as the sleepy Kari fell back into her deep slumber. Again the scene melted away leaving Kari in an uneasy realm of silence.

She knew what happened next she needn't see it reflected on the ice. She couldn't move, her limbs seemed to be frozen in place. Everyone was too busy to notice anyhow, so she didn't have to worry about anyone coming to look for her.
Knowing that she felt tears come to her eyes, the first in a long while, but still she couldn't move.
"Don't show me..... anymore...." was the only thing she managed to say her eyes still transfixed on the ice.

But the scenes didn't cease. The picture swirled about for a bit before revealing itself to her.
It was Angel, curled up in bed. Her pillow soaked with her tears. She shook with raspy breaths as she sobbed.
A young version of Kari was sitting at her bedside, gently stroking her hair.
Trying to comfort her in anyway she could. Kari's brother though stayed outside where he couldn't hear the sobbing, staring far away in the direction the the red haired man's grave.
Finally Kari managed to close her eyes, as she sank to her knees.
That, in that single incident is where is started. She could remember now. The things that had been hidden in the back of her mind.
What else had she hidden? Did she really want to see? No, that was enough for today.
She sighed heavily as she knelt there in the cold snow.

* Ali sat in the snow with his arms resting on his knees and his gaze looking upon three gifts, watching them intently for a few moments before his eyes shifted onto the three crosses behind them. This repeated itself over and over again.*

With a pop, Ziven and Hunter appeared near the lake. She smiled at him, giving him space and time to take in the beauty of the area around the lake. The calm waters, rich grass and trees around the area created a beauty one could not find anywhere else in the RDS. Tilting her head, she spoke softly. "Welcome to the lake."

He looks about the area. "So much life... Such Beauty... Its awe inspiring." He says to her walking about, sorta in a circle, looking about the area. He was one to enjoy great beauty, art and scenery, fascinates him greatly. He turned back towards ziven and smiled. "This place is amazing..."

"I am pleased to be able to share it with you." she said cheerfully, smiling brightly. Tilting her head, she pondered for a moment, pulling her cloak a little tighter around her shoulders though she was wearing her usual dress underneath. "Have you been ice skating?"

He stood and looked at her for a moment or two. "Not to my knowledge.. no.." He said scratching the back of his head. He smiled though to her and laughed alittle to himself.

With a giggle, she smiled brightly and moved to the waters edge. Before they could try to go out on the water, she made sure it was completely frozed through, enough so to keep them safe from falling in to the water below. Strengthening the ice in a few areas by freezing more water, she stood and smiled at him for a moment before waslking out on the ice. "How is your balance? Agility is key to being able to ice skate but balance is the first challenge." she said softly, ice skates appearing on her feet as she moved, raising her sever inches higher than her normal height, now standing at nearly six feet, she would almost be eye level with Hunter. Moving her fingers, she beckoned him to come out on the ice with her.

He looked at the ice before touching it, pushing down to make sure it didnt crack. "I have amazing balance, I worked on it with my agility." He said. He stepped out on the ice, nearly slipping, though he caught himself. He looked at his feet. He didnt have a pair of ice skates to telephase to his feets. He quickly took off his retractable arm blades. Sticking them into the bottom of his boots he stepped on the ice again. He took the blades out and repositioned them into the bottom of the boots making sure they were dead center. Stepping on them harder he also made sure his weight wouldnt send the blade through the boot. He stepped out on the ice gliding gently, his hair and black dress shirt flow freely with the wind. Smiling greatly he looks up to Ziven. "Am I doing okay?"
