Crenu sat and waited in the pokecenter, his back bent and fingers crossed just under his nose as he usually did when he was thinking. His mother would always get on his case about it, saying that he was hurting his back and would get his spine all bent up. He grinned a bit as he thought about it, sighing as he thought that he might just be getting a bit homesick. Shaking of those thoughts he went back to his original problems. The Forest was dangerouse, he was lucky to get back out without being attacked by the ghost pokemon again. M.A. never said anything about Ghost pokemon, so maybe they don't always attack. With only three pokemon, he wouldn't be able to survive an attack like the previouse one with Spinarak as his only defense. Perhaps it would be safer if he stayed with M.A. and Ky, at least for now. "....I have to be stronger. I won't allow myself to lose ever again. If I can't make it through that ghost infested forest on my own..." Before he could get any further, Crenu heard a ding coming from a door leading to the care room. The red light above the door faded, and Nurse Joy emerged with his pokeballs on a tray.

"Here you are. Where are your two friends? The ones you came in with earlier?" She put the tray on the counter and looked at him with eyes of interest. Her eyes gave him the impression that she already knew what was going on in his mind, but asked anyway.

"They're training not too far from here." He took the pokeballs from the tray and clipped them onto his belt. As he opened his mouth to further answer her question, they both jumped as they heard an explosion

"Oh my, what was that?" Without another word, they both ran into the back room where the boom came from.

Frowning at seeing that his attack missed Dante let out a huff of breath the air blowinghis long bangs out of his face for a moment. 'I really hate it when attacks miss.' He thought to himself, 'Well lets see if some others hit before I make sure my attacks hit.' He thought to himself. "All right since that didn't work lets use your Dragon Breath, pick which ever one of the clones you want." Bahamut gave a happy cry as the happy-go-lucky pokemon opened up her mouth and shot out a burst of blue flames at the middle one. It didn't seem to matter to the little dragon whether she missed or not as she was having 'fun' with the other cute pokemon. Seeing his pokemon's actions Dante sincerly hoped that she would grow up just a tiny bit when she became a Flygon, that or he would have to tie himself to the dragon to go to places Apollo could not.

Running through the halls of the pokecenter, Nurse Joy and Crenu arrived at the scene of the incident. In the center's storage room where they kept all their pokemon there was a large smoking hole in the wall with a man dressed in back standing in front of it. He has on a strange apparatus straped to his back that was sucking in all the pokeballs like a big vacuum.

"What do you think you're doing!? You put those pokeball back this instant, they aren't yours!"

"Well duh, that's the point." He turned off the machine and reached for his belt which had several pokeball all around it. "Later losers. Slugma, Smog!" He threw the pokeball infront of him and out came a slugma, a cloud of toxic gas spewing out of it's mouth.

"Larvitar, break through this gas with sandstorm!" Crenu through his pokeball and Larvitar formed, imediatly using sandstorm to clear up the smog. The vortex picked up all the smog and sent it right out of the hole, hitting the man directly and carrying him out as well. the slugma jumped out after him and Crenu turned to Nurse Joy. "Get out of here, call Officer Jenny or something. I've got things covered here." Crenu and Larvitar jumped through the hole after the man, he asn't going to get away with all those pokemon.

Mike leaned forward, suddenly more attracted to his friend. "Rerow." He let out a sexy meow jokingly, adding in a coy wink. "I'll leave you to your business Kassie, lemme know if you need anything and I'll be here in an instant." With that, the boy hopped off his Pokemon, giving him a smile and started his walk to the gate house again. Nitro swished his tail and left the bikers with a warning look, showing his teeth as evidence.

The building was in plain sight, a few minute walk. "Ah, on our own again." The boy said, lifting his arms over his head, emitting a yawn as he stretched. "It's nice. Guy time." He unclipped a Pokeball. "Well, seeing as you're so interested, I'll let Felsic out for some air." He enlarged the ball, clicking it once more to release his new Typhlosion. Felsic shook himself off, half expecting another fight as he darted his gaze from side to side. His eyes met Nitro, who seemed quite taken back by his friend's new body.

"What's the matter, you never see a tough guy like me before?" The Fire Pokemon said with his usual tough guy attitude. Felsic stood on his hind legs, now just below Nitro in height. "I like it, what do you think?"

The Charizard craned his neck, looking his friend over. "It'll have to do." He said with a mocking tone. The two let out a laugh, and sped up to reach their trainer, who was opening the doors to the gatehouse.

"Whoa!" Lisa cried, hitting the dirt in order to avoid being charred black by Torchic's wild Flamethrower. "That was unexpected!" Laughing, she got to her feet, and brushed herself off. "And, it's also enough! Drowzee! Disable Torchic's Flamethrower abilitly!"

The psychic Pokemon stepped forward, waving its two hands in a hypnotic pattern. A light haze converged on the tiny Fire-type, temporarily eradicating her knowledge of Flamethrower. A puzzled expression came over her face, and she hopped up and down angrily, unable to figure out what had just happened.

Jaeshan frowned, not really sure what to do now that Torchic's most powerful attack had been disabled. Even though it was only temporary, they'd need to think of something, and fast. In her fury, Torchic had started to glow again, a fiery radiance circling around her small body before it faded - Focus Energy. "Great!" Jaeshan cheered. "That means you're already growing stronger! Now get in there and try a Scratch attack!"

Hana looked longingly out the window. The sea was just a mystery to her. Sure, she'd seen the sea from Olivine City, but this sea seemed different. It's a different world. I've been wanting this all my life; there's no stopping now! She shook a little bit out of excitement.

"Ugh, how much longer...?" Hana groaned, sliding in her seat. Seemingly out of nowhere, an attendant replied, "We're closing in on Slateport City. Is that where you're getting off, miss?"

"Y-yes.." Hana answered, her face turning a slight shade of pink. She didn't mean to sound rude about it, and she didn't think anyone was around to hear her complain either. Soon enough, the attendant rushed away to help a child. Hana looked over to Hisashi, who was snoozing peacefully. "Hisashi... what's it like to have no care in the world..?" He stirred a little, but kept snoring away.

Not too long after, a loudspeaker turned on. "Ladies and Gentlemen, our next stop is Slateport City. Slateport City! Please gather all your belongings. Have a nice day!"

"Finally.." Hana mumbled, gathering all of her things and stuffing them into her bag. She shook Hisashi to awaken him, but he kept snoring; loudly, in fact. The train lurched to a stop. "Augh, Hisashi, we'll be stuck on the train! get... up..." His eyes opened in surprise, and he followed Hana down the aisle. Being a Slowpoke did have it's disadvantages, however. When Hana was exiting the train, Hisashi was far behind her, still waltzing down the aisle. "Hisashi!" Hana called. He slowly waddled down the aisle, stopping the flow of angry-looking passengers from getting off the train. When he reached Hana, she picked him up and ran off, flashing a sly smile at the angry passengers before leaving.

Hana set Hisashi down on a nearby bench, amazed at his weight. She could barely walk far without getting tired. "Hisashi... lose some.. weight.." She huffed, sitting next to him. He gave her a dopey smile in response. When she gained her breath back, she jumped up and reached her arms to the sky. "Slateport City, Hoenn!"

He felt larger than life, walking with two large Fire Pokemon at his side, almost like a mob boss, or a biker like Kasiya. Mike gave a happy wave to the officer that guarded the border to Fuschia. "Good morning sir." He said with a respectful tone.

"Same to you," The older man happily replied. He seemed like such a content old man, a bright white mustache telling a familiar story of his age and experience. "It's good to see such young kids keeping up the tradition of Pokemon training." A little grin crept up on his wrinkled face. "How was your battle with with Flannery?"

Mike and his Pokemon froze dead in their tracks, the boy whipped around quickly and took a closer look. "Albert?" The older man nodded happily, removing his cap to reveal the same person who had picked Mike up from his emotional low point on the train ride to Lavaridge. "Holy snap it is you! How are you?"

"I am well son. My trip to visit my grandson was very nice indeed." He grinned, placing his hat back. "Now I'm sure you've got alot of things you'd like to be doing, so I won't let this old coot eat up anymore of your time. Run along now son."

"Yes sir," Mike said with bow, then grimacing to himself. Portabello is rubbing off on me.

As the young trainer walked out, Albert reached into his suitcase and pulled out a Pokeball. He studied it, his charismatic smile brightening up his face once more. "Let's see if I've still got it."

Mike smiled as the doors to the gatehouse closed behind him. "Small world isn't it?" Reeling himself back into the task at hand, he quickly was reminded of what he was here in the first place to do. "Ah yes, Move Deleter. Come on guys, let's go look for hi-" His thought was interrupted as a sign directly in front of him clearly stated the location. "Right next to the Pokemon Center eh? Lucky me." He laughed in effort to cover his embarrassment and lack of observation.

After a quick trip through the rather rural City of Fuschia, Mike and his Pokemon stood in front of the Move Deleter's house. "Well, back in the ball with you kids." He said, recalling Nitro and Felsic. Opening the door, Mike was greeted by a rather large man, who kept a rather unruly desk, papers strewn everywhere.

"Um, yes. Hello, I happen to be, the uh, Move Deleter." He said, fumbling for words.

Is this guy for real?
Mike asked himself, a look of annoyance on his face. "Alright look. I've got 5 Pokemon I want to have the HM Strength removed from. Could you do that for me?" He felt the need to not mince words with this guy.

"Five? Wow, you're um, a little erratic aren't you?" The man snickered to himself, but stood up straight when he saw Mike's eye twitch. He cleared his throat. "Yes, I can do that for you. It will be uh, $5000."

"Yikes." The boy said, taking out his funds from his pack. "It's a little steep, but I'll take it. I really need these moves gone." Without another objection, Mike handed over the money and 5 Pokeballs, each containing Nitro, Portabello, Beacon, Felsic and Xanthos.

"Thankfully, the process is rather um, short and uh, simple." He accepted the payment and Pokemon, walking over to a machine with six slots. "I just put them in here, and um...input this pass code." After a few moments of fiddling with the controls, the machine going over each Pokeball with some sort of laser. The beam connected with the center of the balls, causing the inside to flicker once. The gadget reset back into its original position, and the portly man handed Mike back his Pokemon. "There you go, all um, done."

"Thanks!" Mike happily clipped all but Xanthos' Pokeball into their usual spot on his strap. As he walked out, the boy pressed the TM he had received from Nina onto the Ultra Ball containing his Water Pokemon, the knowledge of Ice Beam seeping into the recesses of the Crawduant's mind.

Surge grinned as the Dragonbreath attack ripped apart one of Raichu's five clones, the four remaining mice Pokemon circling around Bahamut almost menacingly. Each wore determined looks on their faces, and all at once, as the command "Slam!" was shouted by the Lieutenant, they rushed forward, determined to land their attacks. Even if Raichu couldn't shock it directly, there was still a chance that the Static emanating from Raichu's body could still paralyze the dragon.

"Kay," Kasiya giggled and waved at Mike and Nitro as they walked towards the gatehouse. "So you guys are fine with a practice battle or two?"

The three nodded in unison, which was almost kind of creepy. One by one they dismounted their bikes, images of stock cars embroidered on each of their shirts. "We are the Hendrick Brothers!" the first one said. "My name is Jeff."

"And I am Jimmie," the second said.

"And I am Kyle," replied the third.

"It's nice to meet you guys," Kasiya smiled, shaking hands with each of them. "My name is Kasiya."

"Well then, Kasiya," Jimmie nodded, stepping forward. "I will have the pleasure of battling with you first." He gave a flourish bow, and kissed her hand, causing Jeff and Kyle to shake their heads in embarrassment. The two squared off a slight distance away, both holding a Pokeball in their hands. Jimmie let his fly, revealing a furry, purple bug-like Pokemon - a Venonat. Kasiya let hers fly as well, and Adamantine the Larvitar scratched her hip and yawned, looking around. She jumped into an offensive pose as she realized it was battle time, and both Pokemon awaited their first orders.

"Now that that is all settled." Mike clipped Xanthos' Ultra Ball in the fifth available slot, right above Napalm. "Well, now that I'm on the task of spring cleaning, why don't I head to the mart and sell some junk?" He hopped in place, turning on his heel rather quick, digging a mini-hole in the ground. "And I'm off!" He jogged to the direction of the signs, painting a rather easy to navigate picture as to where it was. A fence stood between him and the Mart, a grumble escaped the boy before he noticed a rather oddly placed convenience in front of him. A busted part of the barrier lay mangled by his feet, and thirty feet away, followed by what seemed to be large Pokemon tracks. "Hm, I wonder what made these..." He shrugged, paying it no mind as he took advantage of his new doorway and opened the door to the Mart.

"How may I help you?" A rather unenthusiastic girl with dark green hair spoke from behind the counter, fiddling with a ball point pen.

Mike eyed the plain looking girl. She was far from unattractive but a smile wouldn't hurt by any means. "Yes, I'd like to sell these items please, can I do that here?" He dug through his backpack, taking out the Pearl Shiver had spit out ages ago, the Cleanse Tag he had found in Lavender, and the TM for Calm Mind Nina presented to him upon winning the Gym match.

"Sure, lemme just ring you up." She spoke without even once establishing eye contact, a trait that Mike found to be quite cute. "Total cost will be 4500."

"Alright, thank you very much." The boy smiled as he accepted his funds, placing them in his backpack. "See you around."

"Whatever."

Ouch.
He thought as the sliding doors closed behind him. "Tough crowd."

Torchic gave a sharp cry and dashed forward, lashing out with the talons on her feet. Her aim was still a little off, probably because her head still felt a little fuzzy from having her Flamethrower disabled, but she did manage to leave a little scratch on the Drowzee's stomach. It gave a disgusted snort, and on Lisa's command, reached forward and slammed its powerful fist into Torchic's little stomach. She cried out, gasping for air and hopped back, keeping her beady eyes fixed on the offending Drowzee.

Jaeshan wondered if Torchic would be able to last until her Flamethrower became available again, watching as the brave little chick jumped back to avoid taking another Pound attack to the chest. She hopped from foot to foot, waiting for an opportunity to slash at the Drowzee again but couldn't find an opening; so instead she kept her distance and growled at him, effectively lowering his attack power.

"Pokemon Center, that's where I need to go! Ugh, drat. I was just there too." A bit annoyed, Mike began jogging back to the Center. He was just in front of it when he heard something.

"Hey you." A voice said from his left.

Mike stopped, looking around for the source of the greeting. He met eye to eye with a young boy. Something about him looked familiar.

The youngster stepped forward, turning his baseball cap around. "You're Mike. I know you have a Charmander, and I know you remember me." He stopped, mere inches from the trainer, who had a good two feet on him. "We battled outside Vermillion, your Pokemon gave my Ekans a sound thrashing. The name's Joey, if you haven't figured it out yet."

What is this? He asked himself. First Albert, now Joey? All I need is Nick to show up and we're ready for one big nostalgia party. He rolled his eyes, deciding it was nice to have some regular faces he could converse with. "I take it you want to challenge me?" He stated bluntly.

"You've got it." Joey said with surprising confidence.

Mike smirked. "Nice attitude kid, I like it. You wait here, I just gotta go heal my Pokemon." He turned, running into the Center. The nurse greeted him with the usual smile, accepting Xanthos and Felsic's Ultra and Pokeball for healing.

As there were only two, the healing took only a few minutes, and soon, Mike was stepping outside the Pokemon Center, greeted by a rather impatient looking boy, his arms crossed.

"Let's get this started!" Mike said, punching an open palm.

Adamantine sized up the insect before her. It stood almost a foot taller than she did, but she wasn't going to let it rattle her. Ada puffed out her chest, trying to look intimidating. The Venonat just twitched its antennae at her, rocking back and forth on its two feet.

"Start off with your Tackle attack, Venonat!" Jimmie said, folding his arms. The Venonat made a clicking sound and ran forward, its eyes fixed on Ada.

Kasiya watched the attack with little worry; Ada's rocky hide would negate almost all the damage Venonat could inflict. "Counter with Bite!" Kasiya said firmly, after the insect had failed to make Ada budge an inch, even though the attack had some muscle behind it. Even though Venonat stood taller than Ada, the Larvitar easily weighed three times as much. Ada growled, jumping forward and biting down hard on the Venonat's small arm. It screeched in pain, wrenching its limb free and standing back, not wanting to be caught by the Larvitar's sharp teeth again.

Joey unclipped a Great Ball from his vest, pressing the button to enlarge it. "I won't waste any time with you. I know you must have gotten tougher since our last fight, but so have I, go Kadabra!" The Psi Pokemon was released, thumbing its trademark spoon as it readied for battle.

Mike reached for Xanthos' Pokeball. No, that would be too easy. He thought to himself, making an alternate selection. "Go Beacon!" Upon being released, The Ampharos looked at his opponent, letting out a giggle. "Kitty!" He said finally.

Kadabra looked far from pleased, the spoon in his hand bending erratically. "Alright, let's start this out with Future Sight!" Joey commanded, the Psychic Pokemon's eyes flashing once, the hue dying down moments later.

Mike strained for a moment, trying to think of the best move choice. "Alright, Beacon," He said finally. "Thunderbolt it, I wanna see him fry!"

"Oro!" The Pokemon said cooed, shaking his body down before releasing a large bolt of electricity at the Psychic cat.
