Arch the Angel "Inconclusive, but it doesn't seem so. We got word that one of them managed to get in, and we've got men searching now, but we believe it to be one of the witch's illusions; apparently they disappeared..."
A slight murmering sound could be heard from the piece in Herb's ear as he pressed it closer. "This isn't good. We need to find the Angel and the red girl now." Eric raised a brow. "Why, what's up?"

"The boy, Aaron, is missing. The video files show agents of Ora's Army engaging in a small struggle, then opening some sort of doorway in the air, and taking the boy through, along with a few women."

"Funny joke. Really. Where's the punch line. Hopefully not the Angel busting in here and eviscerating all of us because wet his brat get snatched. And then Ruby unevescerating us, and then doing it AGAIN, because the brat got snatched. Because that's not funny."

Herbasis stared down at Eric, glaring. "If I were joking, I would be smiling, but I rarely smile, and I don't joke, so I'm pretty sure we need to find the Angel." He grunted. "With luck, the boy will turn up with Merlin. I'm just getting word he went in with him.

Aaron fell through the portal and quickly pulled himself up glancing around to figure out where he was now. He had done stranger things in his life, considering the people who raised him, so he brushed it off easily.

Merlin fell through after him, his body fuzzing back to his normal form. He laid there on the ground, breathing heavily. He was tired, and he was spent. He had sent the woman to Arch's bus, so if she posed a threat, he could deal with it. Merlin was in no condition to continue fighting. He glanced over, seeing the boy safe, and breathed relief.

He took out one of the cookies Aly had given him which he had stored in his pocket and held it out in his palm toward the wizard. "Might make you feel better." He encouraged, nodding towards the crumbling treat.

Aaron shrugged, "Mom went to fight in a battle. I dunno where my Dad is, but he mighta gone with her." He decided not to let the cookie go to waste and ate it himself, wiping the crumbs from his mouth with the back of his sleeve. "Wanna play mario kart?"
