When Clover and him were out in the medow he stated to tell her about the different things she could do with fire, like make her arrows extreamly explosive and use her cutting tecnique to create the vortex thatt she already had.
The first exercize was simple, shoot a fire ball in the air and have it cause an explosion. If this were to work she would have to have an extreamly high amount of wind circling around it. Epotheros waited for her to get ready and then threw a fire ball into the air.
The next step was to learn how to divert attacks with her powers. He would send a flame attack along the ground from his sword and see if she could block it. To prevent injury on her part, he didn't put a lot of power in the attacks.

Ryu` Ketsueki Stirring slightly Larien's eyes opened slowly. Tramer was sittng next to her on the bed with a tear rolling down his cheek. Reaching up she wipped it away. "What is wrong?" Sitting up she started to stretch but pain shot through her back. "OWWW!!"Feeling around her neck and the collar she looked at Tramer with fear in her eyes. "What's happening?" “it must be a safety net zant put into his enchantment just incase u escaped” I said looking into her eyes I then gently grabbed her hand “don’t worry we will get though this all magic that has been done can be undone” I said still looking into her eyes

Clover listened to Epotheros' instruction with a great amount of interest. Calling upon the wind, Clover lifted a hand towards where Epotheros threw the fireball and concentrated around it. Unfortunately it wasn't very effect the first time. After a few tries she was able to concentrate a large powerful wind around it causing a descent sized blast.
Clover was amazed by all of these techniques. To think that she had lived so long with her powers without learning how to do anything but shoot accurately. This was all new and exciting for her. She continued to show determination to succeed at what ever challenge she faced. When Epotheros sent the fire towards her, she decided to use the same tactic from the battle with the vicious plant monster. Clover swung her dagger with wind concentrated around it towards the blaze parting it each time. As the attacks came her blocks became stronger and then began to weaken as fatigue set in.

"I guess it is abot time to turn in," Epotheros said when he saw that Clover's blocks were getting weaker. They had done quite a bit of trainig today so they should be prepared to take on other challenges. The sun was also starting to set, and Larien and Tramer should also be as good as new tomarrow. Hopefully there would be word from the other lands when Epotheros returned to the castle. He needed something to improve his skills and also get closer to Zant.
As the two of them were walking back to the castle Epotheros stopped for a moment and looked over to Clover and said, "When the conflict with Zant is over would you want to stay at the castle with me for... at least a little bit longer, or as long as you want."

She hugged Tramer and buried her face in the crook of his neck. "Thankyou for helping me." A red flash lit through her mind and she remembered the vision that she had before. Quickly releasing Tramer she looked down at her hands. They were clean, yet she saw the crimson stains starting to spread up her fingers.

As Epotheros entered the castle, one of the guards came to him and told him they had recieved word from the volcanic region of the Hiati Fuergo Providence that there was a monster that was inhabiting their mines. The monster seemed to be one of the native residents, who are stone trolls/ ogres, who had been transformed into something five times his original size and also turned in molten rock or a flaming rock, whichever suits you.
The Hiati Fuergo Providence was at least a two days walk from the castle and since dragons were illeagal to fly outside of the Lord's domain, Epotheros did not think it was an worth while emergency to fly them there and then get arested. IT was decided they would take the horses.
Epotheros then seperated from Clover and went to tell Tramer and Larien about the news. After he told them and made sure that they were well enough to come, he went to find Ty and give him a heads up on what is happening.
As the sun rose the next morning Epotheros waited outside on his horse, Shadow. He was already packed and was waiting for the others to come. Epotheros again decided it would be not wise to carry around the extra weight of his other swords, since his longsword was the only one designed to handle heat well. He wore his chain mail and chest plate, minus the red cape over his black shirt. The cape was more likely to get in his way if he wore it. He also had his guantlets on the right one missing the palm of his hand since it was burnt though by the acidic, poison fumes in the last battle.
((Hopefully this will speed it up because we have done a measly 20 posts in the last four days. The four days before that we did over five times as much.))

Ty, through various shadow portals, had been wathcing the Skeleton thing in the desert steadily travel south, but was interupted when asked to join the group to help defeat some giant flaming rock ogre. It would take the group 2 days or so to reach their destination, so Ty volunteered to go ahead of the group and scout the region. Also he didn't say, but he wanted to get a feel of this Zant guy's powers by witnessing the beast before they got there to destroy it. He silently left in the middle of the night...

Clover was relieved that they were heading back. Clover sighed lightly to Epotheros' request and then answered, "Sounds wonderful, I don't really have anywhere else to go." She was happy that he had asked her to stay at the castle later. This time he had even left out the 'if'. It made her feel welcomed. Clover watched the gaurd approach Epotheros and heard of what was terrorizing the Hiati Fuergo Providence's mines. Eager to try out the newly learned techniques Clover quietly went to her room and rested until the next day.
When the next day dawned Clover woke to Amicus lightly cawing from the windowsil. "Ugh, what is it?" Clover asked as she rolled out of bed and stumbled over to the window. She saw Epotheros waiting on his horse. "Eek, I better hurry," she said aloud to herself.
Once she was dressed and packed, Clover walked quickly to the stable with her quiver bouncing on her back. She tacked Alfie and rode him to where Epotheros was waiting. The other's were still absent so she wasn't too worried about being late anymore. The morning air was fresh and invigorating. Clover felt especially cheerful today, with no peticualar reason. A smile and pleasant look was plaster on her. "Good morning," rang out from her mouth as she greeted Epotheros.

Ryu` Ketsueki She hugged Tramer and buried her face in the crook of his neck. "Thankyou for helping me." A red flash lit through her mind and she remembered the vision that she had before. Throughout the night the collar continued to grow at a slow but steady pace. The back spikes were stretching towards her spine and downward. Larien's eyes opened in the morning sunlight. Groaning she got up out of bed slowly. She heard the horses whinnying down in the courtyard and knew that the others were probably waiting for her. Trying to gain as much composure as possible she walked down the stairs and outside. "Sorry I kept you guys waiting."

Early in the after-noon a ploom of smoke was visible in the distance. When Epotheros saw it rising from the trees he spured his horse and charged towards the cloud. When he had made his way through the maze of trees and into a small open clearing his eyes met a very disturbing site. It was a scene of a massacre, not of humans, but of Zant's minions the orcs. The tents and buildings were nothing but smoldering ashes and there were piles of scorched bodies. Over 50 bodys lay scattered about the clearing, all of them were a dark black as they were killed by some sort of flame attack. There were traces of blood splatter around the bodies aswell.
When Epotheros raised his eyes, he saw a creature he wish he had never seen. It was somthing from out of a night terror. The creature was humanoid like and stood over seven feet tall. It wore a black robe that flowed the length of his body. He wore a mask which was white and flat, the only facial fetures were two thin and narrow holes for the eyes. The Roman Numeral VII was painted and entched on his mask in red. He carried a red, decorated, but he had no visible hands, or at least none that Epotheros could see.
A more disturbing aspect of this creature was that he seemed to glide over the ground. His cloak almost touched the ground, but it did not seem he moved his legs to move. Epotheros could also feel the creature's power. It seemed to be on par with his own, but its aura was simular to Zant's. It was an evil being, but not under Zant's control. Perhaps it was hunting Zant as well.
Epotheros soon realized that the creature had eluded his vison only to find out that it was standing right behind his right shoulder. Epotheros was frozen, and his heart felt like it had stopped beating. The hairs on the back of his neck also stood on end and possible outcomes begain to flash through Epotheros' mind.
The masked being then spoke in a chilling, otherwordly voice, releasing a jet of cold air from behind the mask as it said "Innocent..." before it faded away into the shadows of the forrest.
When it disappeared, Epotheros slumped forward breathing heavily. His heart was beating fast and he had broken out in a cold sweat. The only other time Epotheros had even felt close to that was when he had met Zant. Epotheros' vision soon refocused and he was able to see a piece of parchment pinned to a tree with a dagger, near the scene of the massacre. On it, written in what looked like blood were the words "Guilty."

((I guess no one else had any responses... perhaps I needed more direct. -_-, oh and today is my 18th Birthday.))
Epotheros soon noticed that the others were not with him. Thoughts raced through his mind, for example, "Did they not come along with him? Did that creature kill them?" The latter thought troubled Epotheros the most. This creature killed of the orcs because he saw them as being guilty. Guilty for what, rape, robbery, murder? Murder stuck with him. Clover once was a hit man, and the people she killed were most likely unarmed.
Epotheros and Shadow turned around in a circle, at the same time he was scanning the area or them. He shouted out into the woods where he had come, "Clover, Larien, Tramer!"

((Happy Birthday!!)) Clover watched as the plume of smoke rose into the air in the distance. Before she realized what was happening, Epotheros had rode off towards it. Clover looked to the others for a response, but clicked to Alfie imediately riding off after Epotheros before she knew of a verdict. As she rode she could feel an unsettling presence. The wind blew against her stronger than normal. She felt as if it was keeping her away from something. "You can't expect me to cower and hide from everything." she said to the wind's presence around her.
The wind's pressure eased up and Alfie was able to gallop freely. Finally Clover entered the clearing where the plume had ascended from. She could feel her heart stop and bits of terror and confusion trickled down her entire body as the horrific sight of a massacre was revealed to her. Her attention diverted to Epotheros who was circling on Shadow and shouting the party's names. "I'm not sure where the other's are, but I'm here," Clover said plainly. "What did this? Was it the monster we're looking for?"
