Zia and Maida frowned.
"Why did he have to leave?" "Apperently he can't handle relentless cheer." "Poor man."

Kibo floats in the shadows, savoring the deathly silence. It had been years since he's been able to enjoy true silence.

"I wonder where he went off too." "Maybe the loo."
Miada giggled.

After a few seconds, Kibo rose back out of the shadows. He was surprised to find Zia and Maida still sitting there, but he soon remembers that time passes much quicker in the shadows. To him, it felt like he was in that peaceful silence for an hour and a half.

(I seem to have missed alot.) Bigfoot stands around on the deck of the ship watching a game of cards that some of the crew had started up.

"Oh!" "Hullo again!" "We were just talking about you." "We think you should marry." "You would do oh so well with some," "Freshly made cornbread!"
Zia and Maida held up a huge tray with cornbread on it. The gods only knew where it came from and how in the world it was still hot and steaming.

Kibo's eye twitched slightly at the mention of the word "marry."
Kibo: I was. It was the best three years of my life. But alas, true love stories never have happy endings.

"Really?" "Only three years?" "That's so sad!" "Was she nice?" "Of course she was nice. He wouldn't have married her if she wasn't!" "Fine. Was she pretty?"

"Why only three years?" "Why did it not last longer?" "Did she die?" "Or divorce you?" "Run away?" "Hit on the head by a brick?"

Zia and Miada pouted. They really did not know when one said enough, that meant enough.
"Just one more thing," "Pretty pretty please?" "What was her name?" "Was it something pretty," "Like Delilah?"

Kibo unsheathes his third blade, stabbing it into the deck in front of him.
Kibo: Her name was Mary Catherine... Katie... Gagnon. Now that's enough questions.
He hoped they didn't notice the slight change in tone as he told them her name. Like someone talking about a loved one who had passed away many years ago.

Zia and Miada pulled a face.
"What an odd name." "Yesyes, how very odd." "I have never understood why humans do that." "Do what?" "Give each other rediclously long names, like they can't decide on just one." "Yes, it just gets confusing after three."
