Xander headed back inside, finding that his hunger was no longer bothering him. There were things he wanted to try to bring a smile to his face. Though he stopped, seeing his friend sitting in a recliner, quietly and to herself. A silly smirk to himself, he decided to walk up behind her and lean in.
"What are you thinking about, little girl?"
His hand rested on the back of the chair as he awaited her response.
((I figure that lol. Since I saw you post in another thread just a few minutes ago))

She smiled, hearing Xander's voice, and raised her right hand to cover his. "Well.. did you hear about Kennedy?"She figured to get his mind off whatever it was bothering him. He hadn't been right since Andrew told him about Anya. Buffy figured it was mainly guilt over their last year together.. all the wasted time. She could understand that. What she couldn't understand was how to fix him. Everything wrong with her best friend all started with Caleb, and if she could just turn back time.... Sanpping out of the reverie, she finished, "She got hurt, can't find the big bad... don't know what the hell is going on. Must be Tuesday."((yeah i find that people leave me to myself when i'm offline- go figure rotf))

Xander gave her a warm smile, yet a saddened one at the news. "Nah, actually I didn't."
Moving off to the side, he took a seat on the foot stool not even a foot from Buffy's seat. "Sunnydale all over." He sighed, rubbing his hand over his cheek. His eyes averted to Buffy's for reassurance.
"We'll figure it all out. We usually do." A moment's pause. "With big help from Bossy over here." Xander had let out a slight chuckle to let her know he was teasing her again. That's what they did. He wanted to let her know, in his own way, that things between them would be okay. That some things from the past should be let go of anyway.
"You shouldn't stress yourself so much, Buff. You? You're a fighter. You'll manage to get through all the obstacles that big guy lays out for us- or any big creepy thing with three arms and one eye."
The one eye thing, he ignored. Being his own silly comment.
"I don't know too many people that can. The gang? We've been strong enough. Why not now?"
((Aww. Well that's why I stay on a few minutes longer to make sure sometimes))

Buffy didn't smile back, and instead, took his hand again. "Let me ask you something. If I went away with Angel.. would you come? I'd considered leaving you here in charge... but I think I'd rather you came with me. But only if you make no more Cyclops jokes." At that, she half-smiled, and placed her left hand against his cheek. "It was one thing to almost lose you then... But it's another to see this... this loss of you. Slowly. Whatever's going on with you, it's gonna stop. I don't really give that much of a damn about everything else. You know you're my rock- not THE rock, of course, what with the eyebrow not raising that high-" this she said to lighten the mood, " but you know... You know I can NOT do this without a happy Xan. It's not possible."She took her hand off his cheek and made a fist, putting it against her hip, and pouted. "I'll go on strike."
(( well yay, cuz buffy and xander needed alone time lmfao. ))

Xander always enjoyed these moments with Buffy. Between her and Willow, he couldn't imagine life without them. These were the girls he couldn't ever imagine letting go of. Anya was one that he could never forget, but Willow and Buffy were the others ones that, he knew if he'd lost, he'd never be able to regain himself again. Especially after losing Buffy the first couple times. Thankfully, she had been back though.
"No Cyclops jokes?" Xander looked at her as if he'd been shocked. "Where would I be if I didn't take them with me now?" A teensy smile, he leaned forward, putting his hand on her knee lightly.
"Of course. No need to point big scary signs in my face." At that, he would've made another Cyclops joke, yet instead ignored it.
((Yes. Now all we're forgetting is the music ^-^ haha))

Buffy grinned, covered his hand. "Food?"She stood up, still holding his hand. "But you're cooking, buddy. Best believe it."((in the background we hear the strains of some cheesy 80's afterschool special song about flying in the wind or some such stuff.......ahem, siggys, ahem))

Xander stood to his feet, keeping ahead of Buffy as he brought them both to the kitchen. Staring around it, he wondered what to make first. "I don't know. Carpenter and Culinary Arts. Do those mix?" He looked up at the cabinets.
"Well, if you find little bits of wood in your food, you know who did it." Opening a cabinet full of pastas and cans, he bunched up his shoulders in a fake shudder.
"Are we in the mood for something big, or simple? Because I know if some of those girls start crowding out here, I won't be able to hold up too much longer." Again, that little joke tilt to his tone. Maybe he was over-doing it this time. Not that it was unusual for him in times like these.
((lol! ^-^ And sorry. >.< I remember all the other times, but that one last time I seem to forget. I think I'm too tired now. *yawns and sleepwalks from the computer*))

As Angel leans in toward the resting Kennedy, he notices something....about her right hand. He lifts it up leisurely to observe what looks like a tattoo...no...a symbol burned onto her skin. It’s a strange symbol. Angel motions Faith to come close and look at the symbol. It almost resembles a head of some sort, but it’s mouth piece, or snout, was long. Maybe a dragon? Or an alien? Too unsure to tell at this point. Whatever the symbol is, it’s definitely not human.  ((sidebar- what the hell is that, and since when are you angel.
we have rules.
and godmoding is one of them.
this is the warning.))

Oz is unable to sleep through the night. he gets up from his bed feeling a bit worse than when he went to bed. His body was aching and he felt his as if his insides were ready to burst. He forces himself out of bed, thinking a shower might be an order. For some reason, Oz feels....different. He can see that his clothes feel a bit....droopy. His sleeves fall over his hands, as if he shrunk?
“What the...?" Oz glances at the mirror of the room as he reaches for the light switch. His eyes suddenly widen in terror as his mind can not grasp the image staring back at him. Panic builds up as, instead of seeing his reflection, Oz finds a straight haired blonde girl, whose hair slightly passes his (I mean her) shoulders, with voluptuous lips and blue eyes staring back at him.
What does Oz do? He screams out of disbelief that the girl in the reflection is him. He rushes out of the run in dismay.
“F*ck! F*ck! F*ck!” he shouts as he runs down the hall. He hurries downstairs in hopes of finding someone, anyone that might be able to help him figure out what is going on. Oz finds Xander and Buffy, who both recognize his new face as an old friend who died of natural causes, thus unable to return to them.

magalabuddy Kennedy lies there, almost motionless. Her fever finally broke, but she still does not wake up. Faith prepares to leave, hoping that maybe Willow would watch over her, but Kennedy's right hand finally reaches out, grabbing Faith's arm. For an instant,Faith sees an image of a ferocious looking creature, two times, maybe three times her size. Its has fur coating its whole body with claws deadly enough to rip anyone into shreds. Its teeth are as sharp as a crazed beast of the wild. This thing was big and scary and it's pointing at something. It was almost as if Faith was actually there with the beast. Faith can feel chills crawling up her spine for the few seconds that the image was in her mind. Then, it was all black. Faith glances at Kennedy who, for only a second or two, opens her eyes at says somethign to Faith to only fall back in her sleeping state. "...Gauru..." Her voice cracked as the word slipped from her lips. Her hand finally drops, almost as if she never moved. As Angel leans in toward the resting Kennedy, he notices something....about her right hand. His panic level increased even more once he realized that Buffy recognized his female form. Hid hand quickly brushed his hair as he begins to pace a bit.
“Buffy, you gotta help me! ME! OZ!!”
