"I'm pretty sure you know what has happened. Indeed, I have taken without permission."
Skyeheart knelt down.
"But I am here to right it. If I recieve the right to learn what I have taken...if I endure the punishment of training...then I will have truly earned this power.
All I want...is to restore my honor that has been tainted by pride...and ask for forgivness and redemption."
He raised his head to look into Reeve's eyes.
"I do not want to be considered scum by you or your father...or by Lady Ziven."

Reevis listened to him... then began to laugh. Kneeling down to put himself at the same level as Skye, he spoke. "The training both Gage and I went through would kill you. You think you can control your mind and stop pain and invasion, then I will sit you in a room and attack your mind relentlessly for hours. I will force you to live through your worst moments and your greatest fears. I will rip your mind apart to the point where your body begins to bleed just from the strain... and this will only be preparation for the days training. You know why I'll do this?" He asked, tilting his head. "Because this is what was done to me everyday for ten years. This was the only way I could train under my father, and so you would have to do the same. That would be the only way to gain that which you have simply taken... and even then, it is but the beginning." A strange smile formed upon his face. "And I assure you, Mr.Skyeheart... You would not be able to stop me. Your mind is weak because you rely on your body so much. in your fight against Gage, the only reason you managed to with hold his attacks was because of a helm."

She appreciated being able to hear what Skye had said. But was he doing this for honor or because he truly understood the gravity of the situation he put himself in? Even if he were to learn their magics .. that would likely not render him immune to the effects Vice had described to him.
Stepping from the doorway, she bobbed her head in greeting. "There is a great difference between a fool and one who is scum." she said softly, intending to give comfort but realizing that it likely sounded very cold. "When one may be able to learn from their mistakes .. that is noble indeed." she said softly, watching them both. As Reeve spoke, she recognized the tone of his messaging. Walking to Reeve, she placed her hand gently on the small of his back, hoping he was still relaxed despite the serious tone of the message he was giving to Skye.

Skyeheart simply nodded.
"I know it will be many levels of hell.
But that will be what I consider my atonement.
Lord Reevis...I must earn strength, not steal it.
I will go through this training as long as I have to, I will rack my mind with my worse thoughts.
But know this...I carry the blood of dragons...and the will of a knight...if I cannot regain the worth to carry such ties.....
Then I might as well not exist!
I beseech you, give me the chance to earn the honor I have mistakenly smeared back.
I want to learn from my error.
I want....I want to be forgiven!"

Reevis looked up a Ziven. As he had spoken his eyes had become dark, but as he looked at her they slowly began to brighten. He listened to what Skye had to say, but did not break eye contact with Ziven. Finally he sighed and dropped his head to look at Skye once again. "I'll warn you now, I shall not go easy on you in the least bit. While training, I will put my limits strong enough to kill you; and if you disobey me I shall not show mercy. Penalty for disobeying... is death. I am sure the Draconians taught you this."

But as I said...the death of my current life would be the only other redemption I get."
Skyeheart stood up. Reeve could see much fear in his eyes, but behind that fear was the strength to stand up to it...courage.
"If you do go easy on me by any chance...then your penalty will be just as great."

She looked between them both. This was a very .. odd situation and she was unsure what to even say or think. Tilting her head, she was wondering if this meant they would be going to train now.

Sighing, Reevis stood also. He looked at Skye for a moment, then moved aside to allow The dragonnewt passage into his home. Reevis wrapped his arms around Ziven and spoke. "At the end of the hall there is a trapdoor. Go to the lower levels, follow the path and turn left when the passage splits into three. Thats leads to the center of the volcano... and my own personal training grounds. Discard all your armor, put on the simple clothes that are in a closet there and wait. You should be able to handle the heat... but watch the ash, it does horrible things to the eyes."

Clinging to him for the moment, she listened to his instructions. When he finished, she believed her thoughts to be true. Giving him more of a squeeze, she enjoyed her time with him. "I shall go then?" she asked softly after he had finished with the instructions.

Skyeheart nodded, then gave Ziven a quick look.
"I'm sorry I put you through such worry, and I'll probably continue to worry you for years to come.
But when I worry you...it will be for the right reasons this time."
He then continued down the hall, down the trapdoor and to the left.
As he entered the magma chamber he stripped off his armor and donned the garbs in the wardrobe.
He then sat down in the soft ash, and waited.

Reevis shook his head to what she said. "You may stay. Skyeheart is not going to be waiting for me in that room. After all, it is not me he needs to gain forgiveness from." he closed his eyes for a moment, then opened them again and looked at Ziven with a slight smile as he closed the door.

Looking up to him, she shown a small smile as if she was not believing what he was saying. "Oh? But you said .." she said softly but then stopped herself. She did not want to do or sy anything that would cause him to worry or become upset.

"I told him what the training would be like; mostly to scare him out of it. Since he did not leave it be, I told him to wait for the person who is going to train him... but i did not say I would do it personally." Reevis picked Ziven up and held her in his arms as he began to walk into the kitchen again. "The standards I set will be kept, or his teacher will suffer the consequences."

Looking to him with a small smile, she nodded as her cheeks went pink and she squeaked as he picked her up. "I see." she kissed his cheek. "What is on your mind then? And .. you do not need to hold me .. though I do like it." she said softly, not sure why he had lifted her to begin with, though she was not complaining, she did not want him to go to the trouble if it was not necessary.

"Who did Skyeheart wrong the most by his act?" Reevis asked as he looked down at Ziven. She was calming him greatly, just as she always did. "I want to hold you, simple as that. I know there is no need, but that does not change the fact that I am going to do it." He smiled and kissed her for a moment, changing direction from the kitchen to his room.
