Kaleb frowned, trying to curl up tighter. "You're just whining. I'm not strong enough to hurt you." He channeled some magic again, this time letting a steady stream of energy flow through him for it's warm, soothing effect.

Oh god, more warm. He nuzzled Kaleb again and purred. "you could if you really tried."
Rude eventually grabbed the remote from Reno and turned off the movie. He was tired of it.

Kaleb sighed in relief as he heard the movie turn off. "I-I don't think I could, and I wouldn't want to try anyway."

Kaleb frowned. "I wasn't trying to hurt you, I just didn't want to see what was on TV," he said attempting to sit up again and accidentally elbowing Reno in the ribs again. He looked kind of pale and kind of miserable, horror movies certainly weren't his thing.

"Sure looked like you wer..oof." He grunted again. "See there you go again." He laughed. "Trying to break my ribs again. Looking for an excuse to poke around me with your magic?"

He listened to the other two and shook his head. At least Demy was asleep and wasn't able to join into that one.

Kaleb made a frustrated noise, but he couldn't think of anything to say in response. He didn't lie back down though, and he didn't let go of his magic since it soothed away his irritation and lingering distress over the content of the movie.

He continued to nuzzle into the warmth Kaleb was giving off. So maybe they shouldn't have watched a horror movie but he was comfortable and he didn't want to get up and pick a new one

The nuzzling was probably good, because it got Kaleb to relax a bit, and eventually lie down with a huff to seek more comfort in an almost sullen manner. The movie had been pretty disturbing.
