when i was like in the first grade, like age 6 i'm 14 now so what 8 years? i either heard in the end on the radio or my sister was playing it on her stereo and since it sounded so much like it fitted in with gundam wing, which was my favorite anime at the time i immediately fell in love with it, and currently my winamp playlist has like 20/40 linkin park songs on it

It was about 6 years ago...I was at my friend's house, and we were sitting at her computer IM'ing people and stuff. She picks up a CD lying on the table and says (paraphrased) "Check this out! The band's called Linkin Park; I like it!" She puts it in, Papercut starts....and I'm thinking "Ehhhh.." stare I thought the music was interesting, but I didn't care for the screaming vocals, nor the rap. At this point, I was still a Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, etc. nut. I didn't think about them after that, until another friend of mine gave me my own copy of Hybrid Theory. I thought "Oh what the heck...I'll give it another shot." Well, that CD stayed in my CD player for a month straight! *laughs* And here I am, years later, still blasting their albums and eagerly awaiting the next! whee
