@school starting early: OH , I COULD GO ON A HUGE RANT ON IT.
Actually, third week of August is pretty standard time to start school in Hong kong. Don't ask me why. D: it's been like this ever since I was in say grade 4. I remember being so outraged that my summer was cut.
BUT, BUT, BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT in international schools, year 11s have to take these huge exams called the GCSEs (equivalent of SAT I guess?). It's actually rather overstated and we get those HUGE study leaves (of course no complaints here) but the point is, because London takes so long in releasing our results -.- We can't go to school until we get them. USUALLY, it's after school starts for the rest of the other forms >__> but THIS YEAR, it wasn't. crying SO, as the letter said "Yay! We start school at the same time as the other years!" <- from our principal's POV. Our POV is "No! We didn't ask for this!!!"
But actually next week was my getting results day. (21st) School starts on the 25th for me =P
I liked it ^^ Too bad there was no bang =( *is a really, really bad ruler of Kiri, she knows...* XD Wanting destruction.. >________>
anyway, i'm goingt o enjoy the rest of my summer! I'm going karaokeing tmoorrow. >_> suddenly the summer went by so fast I can't waste any more days XD So... I should probably go to bed now.. XD
KATZ ARE YOU INTERESTED IN SPORTS MANGAS and FOOTBALL? (as in soccer)

A little destruction never hurts ^_^. Have fun with your last few days of summer. I've never tried a sports manga before. The most I've tried was two or three episodes of Prince of Tennis. I don't know if that counts but I'm wiling to try something new. Have any in mind? Yep I do like football although I've been out of the loop for a while. I need to start playing again.

It's called Area no Kishi ^^ Check it out if you have the time!! (I'm also translating REAL but that is about wheelchair basketball. It is actually also really good)

Kouri, I cant believe you didn't mention Eyeshield.
You had manga and football in the same sentence and Eyeshield 21 did not come up.
Something is very wrong with this picture.
edit: I just realized you mean soccer, but I dont care. Something is still very wrong.

lol I don't read Eyeshield xp My cousin does! I can't get the rules of American football/rugby/whatever other names the damn sport has around my head XD I mean, only throwing backwards is allowed? WTF??

Lol, going away parties suck. You have so much fun and then sometime at the end you are like "This is the last time i'm going to see this guy." For at least a few years..

Well its simple. The other team kicks it to you from their goal and then you have to run/throw it back. You have to go a certain distance forward (10 yards) each time you go up the field. And you have 4 tries to do so. You can forfeit your last try to make the other team go a longer distance by punting. Getting into the opponent's goal is 6 points and after that you have another chance to get points. You move back again and either kick in between the fork (1 extra point) or get back into their goal (2 extra points). Thats the gist of it.
And rugby is something more like a variation of football or viceversa. Rugby you have no padding and the fields smaller and football is much more voilent, so you wear alot of padding.
Though even if you dont understand the sport most of the manga/animes explain the sport to you.
I try not to think about the "not gonna see you for a long a** time" part.

As I said above, I'm in the same boat as you Hiru. But I don't think much has happened, as I don't see much going on in the threads since August. I think everyone just kinda disappeared to do school.
Where is Hiru? As we could always just meet up and train as we wait for people to come around. I'm in the Witch market atm.

I believe he just got done cleaning a fish tank and had just reached the hospital where people had started flooding in. Yeah that's it.
Seems like there's more that happened there though. Kouri had given us a medical nin exercise, we could probably work on that. Don't know how helpful that would be though since Kiri seems really dead at the moment...
