Kaosu listened intently to every word Tsai said, unconciously. He didn't really want to, but somehow he did. Finally, when Tsai offered him the two balls and explained what to do, Kaosu quickly obliged. He grabbed them and walked towards the waters. "Well, here goes nothing." He put them in his hands and walked out into the waters. When he finally made it under the slamming waterfall, he put his arms up and placed the balls on his palms. He said, "Here we go," quickly before focusing on keeping his arms up.

Tsai took out a clipboard and put on his reading glasses. He began jotting down notes on Kaosu's process. "Those balls are my newest invention they are sort of like weights except they deal with the user of spiritual pressure," he said as he continued jotting notes. "How it works is, with this clicker remote, I can set the amount of spiritual pressure on those balls. The radius of the spiritual energy of those balls will weight your arms down. When your arms get below what I think is balanced, you will automatically fail, and you shall have to run a few laps around this area," he paused.
"Well, you seem to be doing quite well right now, so..." Tsai paused again and clicked a small round button. It was circular. The balls began beeping. The equivalent of 100kg was added to each ball. "Come on Kaosu you can do it", Tsai uttered in his mind, he continued jotting notes. This was a beginning experiment for Tsai.

"Heh." Kaosu muttered. "Did you even change anything? It's still easy!" Kaosu didn't move his head. He didn't want to. The strain was already starting to burn just a little. It wasn't anywhere near arm-failing, but it was there. "Keep it coming."

Tsai sighed and clicked the clicker a few times. "The equivalent of 150kg," he said as he monitored Kaosu. "Keep those arms up, your starting to drop," he shouted at him.
Tsai got out a few strap looking ankle and wrist weights and dropped them onto the floor. "Just in case the balls are too light you can always strap on these when the balls reach the maximum limit of 300kg.
"But I doubt you'll get that far," he chuckled. "Oh, I just got an idea, start circling your arms, and keep the balls in the center of your palm".
"If you do this correctly, your arms will have higher endurance and we can proceed to the next step,"
Tsai continued to watch. It seemed Kaosu had what it took to try Tsai's training program that would exercise the brain and the body.

Kaosu lifted his arms higher. "That good?" Then, Tsai said something about moving them in a circle. "Like this?" Kaosu started rotating his arms slowly. "Whew. Piece-o-cake."

"As cocky as ever..." Tsai laughed but barely showed it. He clicked the clicker a dozen times. His thumb felt numb already from all the clicking. "300kg both arms, rotate faster!" he shouted.
"This is the limit of the current balls your holding," Tsai told him as he jotted down notes for the previous mode. The balls seemed to glow radiant blue now and seemed to vibrate in Kaosu's palms.

If you would have seen Kaosu's face, it would have been turning at least fifteen different shades of red as he struggled to hold up the balls. He roared as he spun the stupid balls faster and faster, the sound lost in the roar of the waterfall. He just kept rotating, no longer caring about the pain as his arms had surpassed the extreme pain moment. He just kept spinning and spinning and spinning, biting into his lower lip harder and harder. "Augh...This...." He paused for a breath. "All...you got? Bring...it on." He felt pushed farther than he had ever gone before. For some reason, it felt good.

Tsai walked over slowly. He grabbed both Kaosu's hands and stopped them. Then he strapped on a wrist weight. "There are 5 balls in each wrist weight, lets crank it up to 450kg in each arm" he smiled devilishly as he clicked the clicker and walked back to take notes. "Continue but this time, reverse the direction of your spinning after every 5 circles, make it more complicating" he said.
"Kaosu arms should reach there limits soon," he jotted as he watched.

As the wrist straps were put on, Kaosu lowered his arms a little. Then, he struggled them back up. Damn. Kaosu thought. This actually IS hard. He then started spinning it in the opposite direction he had first. It was harder, as his muscles had become accustomed to the spinning motion before. It took a minute before Kaosu finally got his arms going. Then, Kaosu switched the motion again. He counted off to five minutes, as it took away from the feeling of the pain. Then, he switched again.
He was huffing as he kept going, his lungs burning though he wasn't doing much physical activity besides the rotation. He roared, "MORE!" He wasn't going to stop until he could no longer physically hold them up. He huffed a few more times. "More..."

"550kg.." he muttered as he clicked the clicker half a dozen times. Kaosu's face looked red. "I wonder how much longer his endurance will take him? I swear this guy is crazy, I could probably only do 200kg at most.." Tsai jot down the progress that Kaosu had done so far.
"Now jump in place, make sure those balls are still in the center and continue to do the spinning motions," he shouted. By adding more things for Kaosu to do, he could train his mind to do multiple motions at once, for a better much faster fighting style with any weapon, armed or unarmed.

Kaosu conserved his energy by not talking, but inside his head, he was going crazy. I swear, I'm gonna throw one of these things at Tsai. But, Kaosu obliged. If it would make him stronger, then who was to oppose it? Slowly, Kaosu started patting up and down in the sluggish, wet environment. He was also jumping against the downward falling waterfall. Keep going, harder, harder. Your legs shouldn't be tired. All they were doing was standing. Come...on. Kaosu started a steady jump, trying to remember to keep rotating his arms. It was actually a lot easier to rotate with the upward/downward motion he made with jumping. However, his legs were also starting to hurt. And his cut reminded him it was still there, throbbing with every landing.
"'Kay." Kaosu gasped, eyes starting to water, but only Kaosu could have seen it or felt it. "Next?" He just kept huffing, his lungs now grasping desperately for air. He kept going, regardless of his lungs. Just a little farther. Not much farther, but keep going. I'm almost..done.
Just then, his legs buckled under him and he fell headfirst into the raging water. He struggled, but he couldn't get up. His arms weren't strong enough after all that. He just flailed in the water, grasping for air. I cannot die this way!

Tsai turned the clicker and balls changed back to normal. Tsai went over to pick him up. Tsai soon got him out of the water. And picked up the two balls that he had dropped and placed them into his pocket.
"Nice job Kaosu, you lasted for 27.05 minutes, your limit was at 700kg approximately, during the rest of today and a bit more, we will beat that goal.." he said taking off his glasses. "But first things first, how do your arms feel?"

Kaosu coughed up water as he replied, "Oh, only like someone ripped off my arm, examined it for a few minutes, then reattached it without nerves. They scream with pain and yet they are numb." He tried moving his arms. "You know, this is twice in a span of a day that I haven't been able to move a valuable appendage. Much less two."

Tsai laughed. He went to pick up the other strapped weights and then strapped them onto Kaosu's ankles. "Your arms may feel like pudding now but your legs," he stared at Kaosu's legs. "100kg..get moving" he ordered him. "Do a few laps around the region after every lap, I will increase your weight by 200kg, don't get too far though, this remote only has a 25km radius" he told Kaosu as he sat down and continued to write notes down.
"Well, what are you waiting for, go!" he shouted at Kaosu. [8]

Kaosu just stared at him for a moment. "Dang, I'm gonna hafta do this more often!" With that, Kaosu sprinted out of the caves and ran around a path he took as his appropriated "region". He felt incredibly slow, and in truth he was. He realized he must look like a complete, retarded dork. His arms are flapping on his sides and he's straining hard against an almost invisible restraint, making him look like he's trying far too hard. He finally made it halfway, and he was beat. "Keep...going." Kaosu muttered under every heavy breath.
Finally, he made it back to the cave. He leaned against the cave walls and huffed glorious oxygen into his hurting lungs. "O....okay. I'm...ready...for...more." In truth, he knew he couldn't take much more, but he couldn't say that. He would go until he collapsed again. That's his true limit.
