Sickle growled a little. "Exactly why I'm trying to not get this information out." He said, referring to the weak walls that guard the dementions. Something simplistic as using the power of a Chaos Emerald could have devestating effects if used at the wrong place and time. Say during a full Moon, or Friday the 13th in October. These occurances aren't seen as bad luck for no reason. "Look, just keep it out of hearing range of everyone, even your sister, is she doesn't know already." He snapped, but kept his voice a whisper.

Bullet watched Lea's reaction to his comment about the stories and struggled to keep from chuckling or smiling in response. He didn't want Moonshot to know what he was actually enjoying his conversation with Lea--it would only fuel his hatrid and will to get rid of her. "These stories..." he said. "...may not be the happiest in the world--but each have a hidden meaning in them." He explained. "...but each can be connected to the person telling the story." Hopefully that helps her understand that their all connected to me... Bullet thought to himself.
Bullet let out a slow sigh, before beginning to tell her the first of of a small set. "Once upon a time there was a traveling cat, this cat saw many places and many new faces, and never stayed in the same place twice. A wander by nature, the cat never grew attached to places he stay, or the people he met, prefering to stay distant from them...afraid if he got to close, he would put them in danger. So alone the cat stay, keeping his emotions locked inside and only know by the lonely traveler. In the cats mind however, he was never alone. He had a gaurdian angel of shorts, someone that watched over him where ever he went...at least that was what the cat wanted to believe. The his guardian was no angel at all, more like a devil, attacking anyone that got close to the cat anyone who wished to befriend him. Thus...the cat stayed alone, fearing that if he allowed anyone to get close to him, to begin to get to know him, to seem his true face behind the mask that his gaurdian would attack them....and he would be forced to live with the regret of what happened and to be alone...all over again..."
Bullet finished the story he was telling and looked back over towards Lea. In his opinion, it wasn't the best story he had thought up, but it was seemed to explain what he wanted to across.

Tamy blinked twice out of confusion, nothing that Slash was saying made and sence, but it was sure making Sickle hot-headed. She twitched her ears trying to pick up what they were saying to eachother. Realizing her efforts were furtile, not that she would even understand if she did listen, she slipped away unnoticed and headed down the street. She had a hunch that there was a missing piece to the necklace, that pehapse there was a holder that would dimish the bad effects. She paused for a minute to figure out where she was going to go. I got the necklace from Daddy, so maybe I can figure something out at his research center she thought and headed off to the Station.

Sickle backed off and uttered one last warning. "Not a soul... Speaking of Souls, where's our blue rat?" He asked, turning to where amy had been standing a moment earlier. He sniffed the air. "She buggered off." He muttered, knowing full well that both of them could track her without any trouble, thanks to thier superior sence of smell.

((Empathy is feeling what someone else is feeling in case no one knows. Sorry, I kinda use too many big words... sweatdrop )) Lea closed her eyes, a look of comprehension and understanding on her face. "Wow...that was a good story...and also very sad......" She said quietly. "But it seems to me....after being alone for all that time...the cat would deserve some happyness." She looked up at him and smiled, a light of empathy in her eyes. "Now perhaps....would you allow me to tell you a story....? It may not be as good as yours...but all stories have meaning."
Slash chuckled slightly. "Friday the 13? For most people that's just called superstition, but I suppose in this case I won't. And to your dismay, she and Lea worked together on a few things. They got along quite well actually..." Slash heard Sickle snap about no one hearing about this, Slash merley nodded, holding up his hands as if someone had a gun to his head. "Ok, if it'll keep ya from pouncin' all over me, I'll shut my yap. I won't even tell...." Slash looked around, Tamy was no where to be found. "Eh? Wonder where she went off to." Slash crossed his arms behind his head, thinking. "Well, she can't be lookin for her necklace....Sickle's still got it in his hands.....weird...." Slash suddenly bounced up from his thoughts, perky and arrogent as ever. "Say, why don't we go after her, just for the **** of it?" He gave a hyper, yet confident smile. "We've been sittn' here talkin' for what seems like hours: I dunno about you but I'm bored as ****."

Tamy ran as fast as she could down to the train station and stood panting in the doorway. She'd better be fast if she wanted to get there before Slash and the others came after her. She hurried over to the counter. "One ticket to Dusty Desert." she said and cowered under the clerk's suspicious gaze. She wasn't suprised, really. No one would really want to go there, it's a pretty miserable place with a bunch of ruins. She passed her money and accepted her train ticket. Wandering over to the schedule, she made sure that the next train would bring her to her destination. Maybe I should wait for them.... she thought, but imediately took it back. She would have a tough time getting in without propper verification, and if she had a bunch of strangers with her, there would be no chance. She paced around the lobby waiting for the train.
((thank god for wikipedia. Im all updated to what you guys were talking about before. Its pretty much a mix between Sonic 360 and Sonic Rush, right? And Dusty Desert seems perfect for the Lab.))

Bullet said nothing after he had told the story at first, he just listened to what Lea had to say about it. "...sometimes.." he said. "....happiness is the hardest thing to find.." he looked away for a moment after speaking and became quiet once again. He couldn't figure out why he felt so comfortable around her...why he was able to tell her that story and not feel uneasy about it. Shaking his head, the black and silver wolf looked back over towards Lea as she said that she was going to tell a story and gave a nod.

Lea gave a smile of confermation as she saw Bullet nod. Then closed her eyes, trying to sort so many buzzing thoughts in her mind. In a moment, she half-way opened her eyes, managing to shape her ideas...
"There once was a young dove...who was very happy.... She had a family that loved her, friends that cared for her....and they lived in a weeping willow inside a great forest. Many times she would fly around the forest, exploring it's vast trees, rocks, everything... Only to come home to the comfort of her family. But one night...all of that changed...
For centuries, the birds of the sky and the wind had been mortal enemies. Although the war was over, they're rage still burned vengfully towards one another. And although many kept up the battle, there were those who chose not to fight.....The dove and her family were of that kind....... It was a regular night....but the wind seemed a tad stronger than usual....The dove dismissed it, and fell contently to sleep...but suddenly the dove's brother shook her awake, shouting and screaming, 'Fly away! The wind! The wind!!' The dove dumbs foundedly flew out of the Weeping Willow, following her panic stricken brother into the crevis of an old rock formation a few yards away.
Suddenly, a huge whirlwind engulfed the Weeping Willow, roaring angrily as if it were a giant beast, rippingi the flesh of it's victim. The dove and her brother watched in horror as the whirlwind angrily ripped the tree out of the ground, ripping every last bird out of the tree and into the air. They're screams of terror staled the air, constrickting any last cries of pain the dove could have uttered. But as suddenly as it had appeared, it was gone. The dove was silent as she looked to her brother in horror. He was stonefaced, emotionless..... 'Wh......why......!!!' The dove sobbed."
((GAH DANGIT! I hate having to do this to you guys. crying Unfortunatly I don't have as much time in the morning cuz I walk to school now. But don't worry, I'll finish it up. Oh, and I sent a PM to Khearts, she said that one of her sister was in the hospital, and her personal life hasn't been too fun, so she's been needing some thinking time. She said she'll post soon though.))

Sickle slowly turned and raised an eyebrow towards the two wolves that were a little bit away. "Storytime?" He muttered under his breath. Shrugging, he found himself already tracking the scent of Tamy with Slash. "She's heading for the part of town that was spared Heather-" He stopped, and looked around. "Where the hell is Heather?"
((Someone send a PM to her. Mine might have been forgotten by now.))

"Heather?" Slash said, cocking his head to the side in confusion. "Oh, you mean that little brown hedgehog chick that could control water? Yeah...I dunno where she went off to... ****, what happened to half the people that were here?" Slash placed a fist on his hip in confusion. Even after the huge explosion he'd caused, there'd been more than just four people. Heather, Rune, and the random little silver fox that had zoomed in on an xtreme gear had either just disapeared after their appearence, or had been missing for quite a long period....
((I'll send the PM if you'd like.))
