Kaosu mustered the best bow he could manage from a sitting position. "Thank you, Raven-san. I'll try to limit it, but no guarantees." He grinned mischeviously. "I'll have to fight you again sometime. That was fun." Kaosu pushed himself with his good arm onto a standing position and walked over to the rack, placed his bokken back onto the rack, grabbed his zanpakuto, and returned to his spot.
If that would have been a blade, I would be missing an arm right now. Kaosu mused.

"Haro. There is nothing else to tell you. Continue to watch your fellow students fight each other," Ugu said to Haro. He then addressed Kaosu, "Kasou. Well fought, even though it was quickly ended by your opponent." The teacher took a step in the student's direction and mumbled some words beneath his breath. "Would you like some healing?" A glowing bit of energy flowed onto his finger tips as muttered the final few words of the Kidou's incantation.
"... And.. Zaviel. Yojimbo. You two are up."

Kaosu shook his head. "Naw. I'm not gonna go poking the wound like Haro over there, but sometimes people need to live with a wound until it heals. There are some wounds out there that...that just can't be healed with incantations and kido. No, I'll let it heal naturally. That way I can gauge when my pride has returned. I thank you for the sentiment though."
Kaosu looked into the man's eyes as he said the last sentences. Then, Kaosu winced as he pulled his still-numb arm up against his lap. "I'm fine. You go watch the next two contenders and hope they do a better job than I did." He braced the crown of his head on the wall, taking a long, slow breath.
You did well out there, don't let your own emotions deny that.
Kaosu snapped his eyes open as he looked around. No one he knew in the class had a voice like that. He didn't say anything as he finally realized. He lifted the hilt of his zanpaku-to to his eyes as he muttered, "But I lost. I wasn't supposed to lose."
That doesn't specifically matter. You tried your hardest, but you were cocky and bragged to the boy, which made him want to try hard too. He was better than you, and there was nothing you could have done."
"I could have won." Kaosu muttered, again closing his eyes.
You are the stubborn one. You had one chance in a hundred, and that chance didn't present itself to you. There was nothing you could have possibly done. Don't be so hard on yourself. A veteran soul reaper congratulated you on your efforts, isn't that enough?
Kaosu shrugged as he though about it. "Yeah, I s'pose you're right."
And, if you are so determined to be...'better', then you must train. Goals cannot be accomplished without something to help you attain those goals.
"You talk too much." Kaosu muttered, wiping his forehead with his left hand.
The voice just laughed...

Haro smiled as he watched the end of the fight as he walked towards the students. He would have gone and helped his firend, but Tsai had that one covered pretty well. He watched as he refused healing and Haro smiled even broader as he listened in on a convorsation, one sided to his ears. But he knew that he was talking to his zenpakutou. He walked up to him and he slumped against the wall beside him, ruffling his hair with a laugh. "Hey man, good fight, but not too wise on the whole denying healing, it makes it so much more temping for me to prod at it for you." He said with a joking smirk.

"Heh." Kaosu smiled as he turned his head towards Haro. "Poke it and you'd be missing a finger, even if I do have to use my recessive hand to do it." His smile faded into more of a neutral position. "But as I said, not all things can be fixed with just an incantation and kido. As much as I hate to admit it, I put my pride on the line and it got more damaged then I did. I got cocky, and I lost. I suppose I deserved it, I've been 'winning' most of my battles lately, and I just thought this would be another easy round; in and out quick. Boy, I guess I was wrong."
Kaosu sighed. "I guess I can't always be on the top of the foodchain, but I can get pretty close, eh?" Kaosu managed to pull himself up and lean against the wall. "This one can only hope that my pride might heal fast and become a little tougher as a result." He used his left hand and his teeth to retie his zanpaku-to onto his shoulder. "And now I'm supposing our fight will be delayed further. Pity." Kaosu placed his hand firmly on Haro's shoulder. "But trust me that when I do heal, it will be a fight to remember." Kaosu then turned again, waiting eagerly to see how his friend, Zaviel, will perform.

((first of all my zanpakuto is a dai-katana which is extremely unweidly with only one hand so i dont even bother. but you are right about the dodge.))
Yojimbo stands up and slowly walks to the middle of the class room, taking his time to mess with zaviel. he unplugs his sake and takes one final swig, emptying the jug and tossing to the side with a belch. "you read Zaviel?" he asks as he readies his bokken.
((you want to fight the normal way with only 1-4 damage to make it an acutal battle?))

((Use firefox yoji, it will correct spelling mistakes... sweatdrop ...and naw, its better to follow the rules and do it norm zampakto. And change you strength anyways, best to follow the rules smile ))
~~~~~~"Yes, yes i am ready...." Zaviel took his bokken in both of his hands, and started running towards the enemy, his bokken was above his head, pointed towards Yojimbo's right shoulder. "Kaosu!!!" He yelled as he ran, "I'll shine for both of us!!!" And Zaviel was ready to peirce Yojimbo's right shoulder.

((@Yojimbo: The Damage calculation for two handed sword is as follows..
"[Minimum Damage + Strength Modifier * 1.5 + Zanjutsu Bonus] Through [Maximum Damage + Strength Modifier * 1.5 + Zanjutsu Bonus]"
Since you have 16 in Zanjutsu, you receive a +2 to minimum and +4 to maximum for your damage. Your strength mod seems to be +8. So that's [1 + 8 * 1.5 + 2] - [10 + 8 * 1.5 + 4], or "15-26"... So your profile, currently, is right.))
The green energy around Ugu's right hand fizzled into nothing. A smile came to him, then, as he began to recognize a trend. Most of his students were tough guys. And then he sighed. Most tough guys get killed, or lose a limb or two. But he continued to smile as he thought about the students of his class.

((This is gonna be one tough fight....))
~~~~~~"Alright then, how about this!!" Zaviel, just swung vertically as fast as he could, not expecting any results. He just swung as hard as he could, but knew the outcome of what was about to happen. He didn't care, for it was most likely just a set up move and just to hit, Yojimbo could jump,parry, dodge, anything he wanted. Zaviel knew he needed to stay offensive.
