I wouldn't RP on Gaia, it's true. I prefer realtime RP.

The weekend was just lovely. We had a very nice, restful Shabbat, then guests came over after Shabbat for dinner and games. Sunday we cleaned the apartment stem to stern, which means that the whole place now smells of citrus, like the cleaners we use. Mmm, oranges. Now, today, it's snowed a few inches, and the city looks clean and white. Not for long, I'm sure, but for the moment it's like something from a movie. I'm doing laundry, and after that, I get to go get a haircut and then pick up some new snow boots.

Shabbat?
Sounds nice. I really should clean, but it's not that messy here. It's snowed quite a bit here in the past couple of days. It does look pretty though.
I need a haircut and it's only been a little over a month since I got my last one xp My hair grows too fast.

Shabbat was lovely. I go out of my way to make it nice. Clean the apartment from stem to stern, make some really good meals. I light scented candles in the apartment for a couple of hours before sundown, then blow them out a few minutes before Shabbat candle-lighting time, so that the place smells beautiful. Polish the candlesticks and the kiddush cup. Get myself showered and gussied up to look all pretty. Then the SO comes home and has a shower and gets clean and handsomely attired. Thus begins a gorgeous sunset-to-sunset holiday every week.

So, it's a beautiful day. The sun is shining across the snow, making it bright as the light reflects into my apartment, even several stories up in a high-rise building. The cats are sleeping in warm sunny patches of floor. And soon, someone's going to donate some more gold or items to this thread, thus allowing me to increase the size of the Purim Giveaway prize. smile I wonder who it'll be!
