Ra was a bit reluctant to let go of his embrace of her, but did not show it. Taking her offered hand, he nodded and told her, "Alright." It would take some time to prepare, he just hopped if she and Isis went off together no trouble would come of it.

"Would you like some help?" She offered, liking the feel of his hand with hers. Again her wings acted like a blanket in wrapping around her.

Ra could do it on his own, but she offered so he would not exclude her. "I'd love some help." If he wasn't worried the kitchen would be caught on fire or exploded, he would have allowed Isis to help him. As it stands, Sky and his father were the only ones he trusted.

She nodded as they got to the kitchen. She peeked into the fridge to see what they had. Alot of meat in the freezer but hey. It was a good thing to have..."so what would you like to tackle first?"

Ra pulled out the meat and placed it on the counter. Then he pulled out Thyme and rosemary along with a few other herbs and spices, handing her a bowl, he told her, "Here." It was what he need her to do most why he took care of other things.

She nodded and looked for a knife to cut the herbs. Finding one she started with the Tyme and rosemary, breathing the mixed fragrances in. She loved the fresh scent.

Ra could smell the fragrance, likewise enjoying it. Finished with preparing the meat, he put it in a dish to marinate it in before he baked it. Washing his hands he then turned to look and see how Sky was coming along.

She'd come along just nicely as she finished the parsley, thyme, rosemary, and a few other things including cilantro. She glanced to him and smiled.

Ra sniffed at it, enjoying the scent. "Lovely job" came his compliment as he add the seasoning and turned it into a marinade. Covering it up, he told her, "Fifteen minutes." That should be plenty for the chicken to absorb the taste.

She nodded as she leaned against the counter, watching him add the seasoning and letting the chicken absorb.

Ra coiled up watching the pan before looking out the window. Waiting was the hard part, but he could do it, he was a very patient naga. He could wait for as long as it took for the chicken to be ready.

She scooted over and absently played with his hair, waiting patiently for chicken to cook. She liked his hair. It felt silky as she ran her fingers through it.

Ra was surprised by her actions. Even in his surprise, he did not even try to interfere with her running her fingers through his hair. Normally he didn't let anyone, including Isis, touch his hair. However, he did not mind it so much with her. He even lowered himself a bit to make it easier on her.

Despite her firey nature, she loved exploring the sense of touch. She smiled a little as he lowered himself so she could keep playing with his hair. Normally she'd have tried putting little braids in the hair but she didn't this time. She just ran her fingers through, gently and lovingly.

Ra couldn't deny it, the manner of which she ran her fingers through his hair, he enjoyed it alot. Almost without thinking, he pulled an arm around her waist in a light embrace. He did not want to hinder her movements. The maranating wouldn't take much longer then the cooking, cuttng and eating would follow. He was surprised that Isis hadn't come in impatiently asking when lunch would be ready.
