"Oh. Okay. Sorry... It's just that when I get hungry I kinda... sorta... Um, well, let's be blunt, I totally get brazen, then!" she laughed out loud and then sat down on the bench. Well... I think I've had it since I was born, but I realized that I had it when I was real little, about three. I started hearing things people weren't saying and it went from there. she brushed her lightly highlighted hair behind her ears as the wind kept blowing the brown and blonde into her face. And knowing what's it like when a guy looks at me... well...
She sat back and looked up at the sky, pondering for a moment. I don't think much of it. Usually I'm good and can control it now, but whenever I see new people, I'm more attune to just randomly reading their minds to see what they're like, so... And whenever I see- well... - hear guys like that, I just ignore it. Or when they say it aloud, then I make them do something stupid. The most of them don't know how to protect their minds, so I make them pick their nose or something embarrassing like that. Keila shrugged and then laughed aloud again, putting a hand over her mouth as she giggled. And I don't mind. Actually, I enjoy the amount of things that I learn through it. It takes awhile to get used to the constant whisper, though. she yawned, and then looked to Catherine with a smile. But anyway, my name's Keila Rehturrie. It's nice to meet you. and she offered her hand, like they were having a conversation with words. The artist looked between the two hopelessly and shrugged, trying to draw the rest of the picture from his perspective.
(( I have to go eat din-dins soon, and then after that it's pretty much guaranteed I won't be on until much later tonight, or early tomorrow. Just a heads-up. x3 ))

Catherine smiled being able to hear what the other said with out saying anything. "My name is Catherine Urbanik it's very nice to meet you Keila," she said aloud, "But you can call me Catty if you wish. It seem to be easier for most to say." Catherine looked and the relentless wind and smiled. She said a few words of power and moved her hands in ancient rythms only she knew as her hands started to glow blue with little snowflakes flying around them. She pushed her hand tword Keila and smiled as the frost that engulfed her hand disapaited. A loud cracking noise originated from behind Keila as a large wall of ice rose from the ground up to protect the two from the wind. "I'm a mage. I've been practicing my powers for a while now so I'm pretty good at them. And as for my mind being secure," Catty smiled and pointed at her necklace. "I have this for my important things and if I really wanted to I could make a few walls between us, mentally that is." She let a small smile get out as she glanced at the boy furiously working on his painting."I could scare him if you'd like. It's be fun," Catty again smiled at Keila and prepared her hands, the words of her spell ready to flow from her lips.
((thats cool..though "early" for me constitutes around 1 ish....in the afternoon..))

"Catty? Naahhh.. it sounds like you're one of them mean girls." she shrugged, and then noticed that Catherine's hands were out towards her with snowflakes on them, and Keila thought she was going to try and freeze her over. But then the wind stopped, and she turned to see that it was just a wall of ice, and she sighed with relief. Thought I was going to be an icicle...
She listened as Catherine explained about her powers, and then nodded. "That's awesome. A friend of mine's kinda like that; she can basically do anything she wants magically if she wanted to. She'd just have to work at it." Keila shrugged and then looked over to the boy, who was looking up every now and then, and then grinned over at Catherine, folding her arms. "Well, as long as you don't ruin the painting.."

Catherine smiled at Keila and shruged her shoulders, "I can make no promises." Catherine let out a small giggle and waved good by to Keila, in a second Catty was gone replaced by a small mote of white light that quickly faded away. She quickly reappeared behind the artist and smiled. She bent down on one knee and placed her hand next to his painting arm with out him noticeing. She got really close to him and put her lips right next to the boys ear. "I think I might just tease him," she though aloud hoping Keila would hear her. "Could you paint me naked?" Catherine asked trying to stifle the laughter that was about to overflow within her. She grabed his painting arm and pulled it tword the boy to protect the painting from being ruined.
(( sweatdrop I still need to call this girl....tonight is going to be a long night..))

She looked to Catherine questioningly, and then the girl disappeared with a little white light. Keila looked around, shocked, and then saw her reappear behind the artist. She had half the mind to go, "Vittorio, look out!" but then she just watched, reading Catherine's lips, and hearing the words through both of their minds as she played the words out in her own by habit. Then she covered her mouth as the poor boy nearly jumped out of his skin. You didn't! she said into her mind, laughing even in there.
"Jesus Christ..." he turned, shaking, to Catherine, and then blushed as he looked at her. "I-uh-I-oh-Um.. I don't d-do that sort of ... painting..." he said sheepishly, trying to look back at the picture he was doing of Keila and ignoring the strange girl holding his painting arm like she knew it would mess him up with her just coming up like that.

Catherine giggled a playful girlish giggle as she crawled closer to the boy. "Well maybe you could start then, hmm?" she asked pushing herself on the boy, her right arm right between the boys sprawled legs. She smiled a devious smile as she shut her eyes and leaned forward as if to kiss the young painter, but right before her lips touched his she once again disappeard in a small mote of light. She reappeared a few moments later on the bench a few inches from Keila. "How was that for fun?" she asked leaning back opening a jug of Crystal Water and taking a swig from it. " I swear I use my powers to often to make things fun, I should really be more responsable," she said chuckling a bit. "Oh well," she finished putting the half empty jug back on the ground.

Poor Vittorio. Keila thought with a chuckle as she watched Catherine put the moves on the artist, and then disappear to reappear by herself.
"You were too hard on the poor guy, all I can do is watch the cute little face he's making." she was grinning nonetheless, though. And all she could do was shrugged when Catty said she wasn't responsible. "Well, we can all try, but fun can do things to people." she shrugged, and thought behind a barrier, This is great. I'm actually meeting people and not thinking about what happened before. It was almost a month ago, but at least I'm getting back out again.

Stepping outside into the sun again Otogi let a sigh slip from between her lips. The beast was still holding all her stuff within the grasp of her powerful fangs. Looking around Otogi noticed she wasn't the only one here. But that didn't bother her. Apparently Sphynx's where evil creatures so she doubted anyone would bother her.
Her large paws moved her foreward as Otogi walked over to a nearby tree. Leaping up and grabbing hold of the trunk with her massive claws Otogi pulled her large feline body up. Upon reaching the branch she took a seat upon it and flared out her tan massive wings to strech them out. Her long tail hanging from the branch. Otogi wasted no time in making herself comfortable on the branch. Laying down and setting her id card, map, and dorm room keys in her large paws.
A yawn escaped from Otogi as she laid there. Laying her head down onto her paws. Green hair falling into her golden yellow eyes as she started to think..however she didn't realize she was much to heavy for the branch. She heard it creak and lifted her head up, as she did the branch broke and fell to the ground. Making a loud thud upon landing.
Otogi however was up in the air, at the last moment she extended her wings and flew up so she wouldn't fall on the ground. "Darn it!" Otogi growled. Softly landing on the ground and using her paws to dig threw the leaves of the fallen branch, trying to find her id card, map and dorm keys. She had to try and figure out another way to keep all this stuff together.

Catherine shrugged, she had heard this all before. "Yeah, trust me I know first hand," she said aloud. She was about to think of her past but grew weary around this mind readed. "Arcane Brilliance, infinate minds," she whispered softly to herself. In an instant arcane magic protected her mind, projecting the thoughts of random things at the intruder. It seemed harmless enough but it didn't just project one random thought, it projected thirty five hundred thousand singular thoughts. Once again in solitude in the recesses of her own mind Catherine thought back to the night she killed all of those people.
"Kill the b***h!" a young man screamed throwing a beer bottle at Catty's hanging body, but missed and broke on a near by tree. The noise alone made Catherine open her eyes to gaze upon what she thought would be her last sights. Through bloodshot eyes and the haze of suffocation she could see her best friend walk up to her and simply stand there and gaze into Cat's eyes. "Help," Catherine managed to say to her friend though her oxygen was now limited, but her best friend just stood there. Her friend cocked her head back and spat in Catherine's face, before turning and walking away. She blacked out, but this time was able to contiune seeing what she couldn't before. From the ground a large platform of ice rose, pushing on Catty's body removing the tension from the rope. Her body stood, head hanging low, as the noose around her neck burned to ash. Her hair began to slowly rise into the air as if she were underwater. Her eyes glowed a bright white, as she encased her tormentor's jeep in ice. The very ice beneath Catherine's feet soon melted but she remained at a constant hight. With the tilt of her head the humans in the car caught on fire, they falied about but soon stopped letting the licking flames rid them of their flesh. All that was left was Catherine and her "best friend". Her old friend got down on her knees and cried begging Catty to let her go, but to whom she spoke was not her lost friend. In a voice that seemed to be every where at once and far to deep for Catherine to produce she spoke, her mouth never opening. "You left me to die, so now your fate will be the one you condemend me too." With the raiseing of her right hand, which was engulfed in frostfire, Catherine made a tomb of ice around her backstabbing friend, the ice of her tomb melding with her very flesh.
Catherine snapped out of her trance like state to see almost no time had gone by, at least thats how it seemed. She was sweating even on this cool January day, so she counjured another flask of Crystal water and drank readily from it.

Keila shrugged lightly, not making much of her words. When Catty whispered something to herself, she turned and asked, "Pardon?" just as he mind was flooded with the thousands of tones. She left Catherine's mind, and just watched. She started to sweat and Keila stood up, watching her with worry. Her eyes were glazed over, and she wasn't blinking.
"Catherine? Catty? Hey, Catty!" she snapped her fingers in front of her face and was stepping away as soon as Catherine snapped out of it and was drinking out of a suddenly apparent flask of water.
"Catty... what just happened?" she asked quietly, worried.

Catherine blinked a few times registering that she was out of her dream state and was indeed back in the real world. She looked up at Keila and forced a smile. "I'm fine, why?" she asked taking the charm from her mind. Catherine held the crystal on her necklace and made it glow, and wit hthe glow her memories were sealed. Catherine's eyes glazed over for a moment as it happened but after words she returned to normal. She looked over at where the ice wall was to see the grass was flodded with the water from the now melted ice wall. She looked back up at Keila and smiled. "What were we talking about?" she went on as if nothing happened.

She was silent for a moment as Catherine dodged the question and decided to ignore it for the time being. "... Homework." Keila said lamely after a while, and then shrugged, putting her hands in her pockets. "How about we head inside? It's getting dark." she looked up to the pinking sky and watched the darkening cloud.s

Catherine looked up at the sky, the setting sun splashing it with color. Catherine returned her gaze to her new friend and nodded. "Yeah it is getting late," she said yawning. "I also think I have a test in my first period so I think I might just go and hit the hay." Cetherine walked in the direction of the dorms before stopping. She set her feet a foot or two apart before she started conjuring her arcane magicks. Her hands started to glow a whiteish, blue color as did the symbols that sun around her feet. Catherine looked back over her shoulder at Keila and smiled saying, "It was a flash back nothing more." With that she finished her spell and teleported to her dorm room.

Otogi looked around, glad that no one had spotted her. Digging threw the smaller branches she finally located her stuff. Picking it up in her fangs Otogi spread her wings out. Flapping them and creating a slight wind as the wings picked up her body. Flying out threw the door to explore more of the school grounds.

Luthien had arrived on campus of the university a few days previous to this day and hadn't had much time to explore or get to know her knew home. SHe was a very shy person and so she usually stayed away from public or crowded places; if she had no choice but to go to those sorts of places she kept to herself and tried to keep from drawing attention to herself.
Today was one of those days. In order to find all the quiet less populated areas of campus she had to go through every last square inch of the university, she had a lot of free time and felt like getting some fresh air.
Having been following her map she eventually found herself here in the East courtyard. She gazed back and forth as she walked along the path, looking at the different flowers in the flowerbed, untill something caught her eye, the fountain in the center of the area, more specifically the statue of pegasus.
"pegasus." she whispered to herself as she began to walk toward it. She was amazed, she'd seen pictures and read about such a creature in books, but to see a full size statue was indescribable to her. She had always wondered if somewhere in the universe a creature such as this existed. she always argued with herself saying 'if a person such as me, a half elf exists, than surely somewhere a flying winged horse must exist' this was one of the things she believed of the world and because of it people thought she was insane.
She continued to stand there, staring at it, almost studying the intricate detail of the sculpture, slipping into her own little world created by her imagination.
