Ran sat still for a moment, then he laughed and continued to laugh. "Well then, if you want her so badly, go after her!... If she's still breathing that is. That sleeping gas I let her breath in was enough to knock out a 100 Jounin in one wiff."

Doren closed his eyes and held up his hand. "No, I'll deal with him. Please look for Tsukiko-Chan, she will probably be close by in or beneath a tree." he seemed to consider this response for a moment before continuing. "She may be hidden by a cloak. His is missing. Please leave though, I do not need any witnesses."
The Jounin crouched down before Ran and glared at him. "Make no mistake, this is the end of your life. If you would like to explain why you have acted so foolishly then I may be kind about it."

Denkou flashed into sight, watching Doren. "Be careful. Murdering this boy may start an unneeded conflict between our alliances."

Denkou arched a brow before sighing. "Baka...." He vanished in a cloud of smoke.

Doren was well aware of what he was doing. He knew that it really wasn't any of his business in the end, Tsukiko-Chan was not a shinobi of Otokure, she was simply visiting. But despite all of that and finding her to be a student he could relate to they way this boy thought of her was inexcusable in his eyes. "She is not property. She is a beautiful young girl and deserves to be treated more like the unique person she is." He performed several quick hand signs. "Ninja Art: Rumbling Fists. This is one of the techniques we invented in our years alone." His hands made a gentle humming sound as they began to vibrate on a fundamental level though very lightly. He shot forward and brought his right fist to Rans side and his left fist to his shoulder. He really wasn't using much power, perhaps one fourth his actual strength, he was letting the vibrations aggravate the muscles and shave off a few layers of skin.

The retaliatory blow landed but caused no effect, all the strength the boy threw was absorbed harmlessly. "Not good enough." Doren said walking slowly around the boy "I'm sure you don't know what it's like to be hated for reasons beyond your control. There seem to be so few people in this world that can relate to that." he sighed gently. "We can relate to that though. Our mother couldn't keep moving forever and didn't have the proper will to care for us. Under the tormenting of others we were abandoned and forced to live on the outskirts of society." Two more hand signs. "Ninja Art: Roaring Fists." The quality of the vibrations shifted and became audible as his hands seemed to blur slightly, pushing the air out of the way. He swung his left fist downward into Rans leg and there was a loud bang as the sound waves discharged. The damage was minimal, a minor greenstick fracture to the femur and a few snapped cords of muscle, it would keep him from running though.

Doren shrugged lightly even though a tempest of emotion was crashing beneath his skin "No. I could really care less about what you think of me. I am past redemption anyway. By the way, this move is called Thundering Fists." The humming that had filled the air cut off and was replaced by a low pulsing sound. Dorens hands looked to be surrounded in light grey clouds that blurred their outline slightly. "You are supposed to feel sorry for your own pitiful hide and for the way that you've treated Tsukiko-Chan. Did you ever stop to think that if you had shown her more love, seen her as more than property but as another human, then she wouldn't have run from you in the first place and you wouldn't even be in this situation." He firmly struck Rans right shoulder.
The grey mist around his fist dissappeared and instantly there was a resounding crash as if a thunderstorm was overhead. The focused concussive blast had been painfully off target, a third of the tree trunk behind the Moon genin was splintered away in face of the sound waves. The muscles in Rans arm were frayed but left unharmed for the most part, but that was not what Doren had been aiming at. Rans arm was shattered, his humerus fractured in seven different places, his clavicle had snapped like a dry twig, his scapula had split almost in half and three of his ribs had splintered. It would be a crippling blow in any case.

Doren sighed. "You still don't get it." He roughly kicked Rans injured leg deepening the split in the bone. "If I am filth then why am I up here and you're down there? If Tsukiko-Chan is filth then how come she found me and gave me another reason to continue my existence?" The black flames of the Heavens Seal slowly began to glow and spread across his body as he tapped into its power, the dark chakra pouring into the air. "Why am I stronger than you?" he kicked the boy in his injured side, breaking another rib. "Your ambitions and bigotry led you to my feet and for eternity you will be able to contemplate how things could have turned out if you had been kinder to Tsukiko-Chan, you may have even learned a technique like this..." He held up his hands surrounded in a grey haze, slowly the dark chakra mingled with the energy of the vibrations and it became a sickening violet grey, the pulsing hum was replaced by a sound not unlike distant thunder on a clear day. "This is the companion technique to my brothers. We are the Storm Twins after all. If you feel you must regret something else than regret that you met me instead of him, your end would have been far less painful." His face contorted into a frown of raw hatred at the boy in front of him and he braced against the ground for his next blow. "Now! Feel the Fists of Dark Thunder!" he drove both fists into Rans chest.
There was a deafening crash that filled the entire forest as the sound waves burst outward in a crushing concussive force. The ground cratered beneath Rans body from the insane pressure even as all of his ribs turned to splinters and his spine crushed. Even without that the blast pulverized the young boys organs, his lungs, heart and liver turning into a thick liquid that didn't even begin to show on the exterior of his body.
Dorens seal receded into submission and he trembled at the feel of power withdrawing. He would not tell Tsukiko-Chan about this, she need never know. "Regret your mistakes in Hell. When we get there you can tell me whether it was time well spent." Without another thought he turned around and slowly walked out of the forest leaving the shattered body where it was.
