The large leopard laid herself down beneath a tree near the watering hole, keeping one eyes open and on Layla. She knew this place well and trusted it.

The small black cub wiggled her way beneath a some thick foliage and spotted the pool of water and the zebra beside it. Sitting herself a few feetaway she watched, her eyes wide and tail perfectly still. It was a strange animal, something she'd never really laid eyes on before and she was midly fightened by it.

Layla jumped back, her eyes narrowing somewhat at the odd animal. Now rather sure that whatever this thing was she didn't want to be near it she moved around to the other side of the watering hole. She lowered her body and brought her mouth to the water taking some to drink. The cool water a welcome relief from the non-stop travel she'd only recently endured. As she enjoyed the refreshing liquid she kept her bright purple eyes on the black and white creature before her.

Mizaku chased happily after the same hare who he'd seen earlier. Now he wasn't as eager to get it, so he seemed to be just playing with the animal. It was much faster than him anyway, so the leopard soon lost track of it.
"...okay...now...where am I?" Mizaku said awkwardly. He took a few minutes to search his surroundings for anything he reconized, but it all seemed pretty strange. His tail was perfectly still for a moment, then it went back to waving on the ground where he sat.
"Ah...oh well...I don't really live anywhere anyway. I'll find my way back eventually," he said, calming himself down before he even started to get nervous.

fedha sniffed at the ground. he couldn't find no scent of his pack. he whinnied softly to see if they would call. but no responce. maybe going to the watering hole was a bad thing. he whimpered now, his eyes scanning around at the forest. his ears pinned back.

fedha galloped around, he didn't not once think to head back to were they once were. his eyes were in a frenzy as his hairs on his neck stood up. he slowly came to a stop as a large lion, none that he had seen before, sat lapping at the water. he was huge, and would definitly kill him in an instant. the large grey red lion lifted his head. he was'nt looking at fedha, but knew he was there. his eyes spun around and glared to fedha.

"oh, well lookie here, a zebra. not with his herd. alone, and young. yet larger then most. were might your herd be"

fedha didn't think of what he was about to say, but splurted it out quickly.

"i can't find them. i'm lost!"

he felt like hitting him self. the lion's tan eye brows lifted as his shaggy tan mane swayed.

"so, alone" the lion licked his chops quickly bareing long shiny white teeth.

fedha made an "eep" sound and then took a few steps back before turning into the forest and began running. his feet weren't long, but they were fast.

the lion looked at the zebra take steps back, and then he stood, swaying slightly, his black nails digging into the dirt, suddenly he saw the zebra take off, and in an instant, he was chasing after it, his maw shut, his eyes focused.

fedha was tireing out quikly, as the water inside him was putting weight onto his bodyfat. he whinnied once yet it was low, and in the small tree line they were running in, no one would hear him. in his mind, he thought he was doomed.

fedha was now panting more then ever, he was dehidrated now, and the lion wouldn't give up. normally they would have forgot it and ran back to were or what they were doing, yet he didn't. fedha began to slow down as well, his legs were about to colasp and his body was heating up quickly.

the lion saw this opportunity and began to speed up, his paws pounding across the ground, throwing dirt up into the air, then with a quick slam, the lion was thrown across the dirt and landed a few feet from the zebra. the leader had come and snorted once, he had slamed his back hoofs into the lions chest. not knowing if the lion was ok or not, the leader stared down to fedha, which made him feel quite uncomfertable. fedha's tail sunk under him as his ears pinned back, the leader watched as fedha walked with the group back to the area were the rest were.

the leader stared at the lion. he was'nt moving. he huffed quickly in pride as he turned and galloped back.

the lion looked up. his head low. he looked to the ground, blood had circled him now, but it was not as much as he expected. he limped up and struggled out towards the water, which was far from were he was. he quickly fell to the side, no breathing.

the leader finally got back and nipped angrily at fedha "why did you run off? you could have gotten killed." fedha said nothing. instead he lowered his head more in sorrow, then he scooted back towards his mother, who looked to the leader. he signaled for her to follow him as they troted out towards the open. were they spoke. most likely about fedha's punishment.

fedha moves around towards were his mother told him to sit. his body figiting and panting after the long run. he sighs softly as his grey eyes glance up to milia but the glance was quickly broken by his mothers glare.

fedha still shaking, looked up to the leader "but i was thursty! i knew i...or i thought i'd....." the leader spoke inturuptedly "you thought you'd be back before we moved again! what an excuse! " his feet stomped as he spoke again "as for your punishment..." he paused " you may not play with your siblings, nor milia. i want you and your mother to go everywere together." "but thats not fair!" "whats not fair is that you ran off,with out a warning! we didn't know anything." he growled as he turned "that is all, no more excuses for you."
