Nodding to his captain, Ranu knelt to pick up his muskets and, after a habitual salute, left the deck, heading for the stairs. He slung two over his shoulders, and held the third. It was fun time.

Storm chuckled.
"Well he certainly gets into the sport of things, doesn't he?"

Pushing the door open, Ranu strode into the brig. Seeing the chained prisioners look up at him, he let a cold smile twist over his lips. One stood to try and beg him to release him, but Ranu simply raised the musket and shot him. Tossing the used musket to the floor, Ranu dropped the second from his shoulder and looked between the three remaining prisioners. Selecting one who was looking defiantly at him, he raised the musket and used his second gun. Tossing it with the first, he dropped the last musket from his shoulder into his hand and again considered. Picking the one with an eye patch, not unlike his own, he nodded then spun to shoot the other living person. Dropping the musket, Ranu knelt to look at the man with one eye, his own eye looking into the Portugese man's eye. "Willing to fight for freedom?" he asked calmly. Reciving a nod in reply, Ranu grabbed the dagger from his boot and smiled at the terror in the mans eye. Slashing out, he slit the mans throat. "Then fight the devil." Ranu muttered, then wiped his blade on the man's coat. returning it to its hiding place, Ranu calmly picked up his guns and returned upstairs to his captain and Admiral. "Thats better."

A smile flickered over Ranu'd thin lips, "oh, I do. Thats why it was quick." Ranu replied, then laughed, "God help the French."

Kibo: Je n'aime pas le goût de grenouilles ou les escargots, donc je ne pense pas que j'aimerais France cela beaucoup.

"Alors vous n'avez pas goûté la danse délicate de parfums du sud de France. Or for that matter, the North or East. Do you like garlic? Or pastries?"

Ranu blinked slightly at the French, totally at a loss. He looked between his two compainions and frowned, "You what?"

Tu ne parlais pas au Francais? We we just discusing the common French delicasies and of how easily you can hate them, but it is common knowledge that you have to love their food."

Ranu sighed slightly, his eye giving a slight twitch. "Give me a good piece of cold beef anyway, with potatoes, and peas anyday. Oh, and smothered in Gravy. Thats proper grub."

Storm shook her head.
"While gravy is good, it doesn't even come close to making up for lack of flavor with a few good herbs or spices. And besides, hot meat is always much better then cold."
She made a face.
"Unless you're Maida or Zia and have gotten it into your head that raw rabbit is good."

Kibo: Stop talking like that. You're all making me hungry. Storm's right about the hot meat part, but I'd rather have gravy over spices any day.
